DeWines’s Ohio COVID Rule: High School
Wrestlers Can Wrestle - But Can’t
Shake Hands

Original Article

In the midst of scratching their heads over Governor Mike DeWine’s (R) Dec. 7 extension of his bizarre, unconstitutional “curfew” to guard against a virus that, evidently, becomes more deadly after 10 pm and before 5 am, Ohio residents might have missed the bizarre “high school sports” edict issued on Dec. 4… That’s the command that high school wrestlers are “permitted” to wrestle, but before and after the match, participants are...forbidden from shaking hands.    Correction*

Comments:

To say the least, this is ludicrous..no wonder his own party is targeting him for impeachment...he obviously has never been to a wrestling match to order some insanity like this.

#3, I live in Ohio and believe me the majority of Ohioans believe the guy is a terrible governor. He is drunk on power and his little press conferences send him into ecstasy because someone is paying attention to him. He only has support from the looney left because Ohio is pretty much a red state. However the dems are doing their best to turn it blue. As usual, look to the larger cities and that is where the democrats gather. They are the bane of existence for any freedom loving American who wants to be left alone. DeWine just wants to flex his political muscle because he certainly does not have any physical strength. Men like DeWine don’t care who they hurt as long as they can get that ooey gooey sanctimonious vibe that comes from power over the little guy. Now there is rumors that he will run for office again. There is no way, except with Dominion’s help that he would ever be re-elected. He really is loathed by most here in the state. When he could have stood up for reason and freedom, he chose tyranny. As we are finding out through this crisis, it doesn’t take an army to remove your rights. All it takes is a lazy legislature and a power crazed governor. During this whole crisis, the legislature had the power to rein him in. They did not. All it takes for evil to prosper is that good men do nothing.

The school athletic double standard is not unique to Ohio. I've said from the start that Texas school football was hypocritical as all get out just to play pretend things are normal and for the coaches to do their primary job because it sure as heck isn't teaching social studies. If athletes can play unmasked, then everyone should be unmasked. The result is as soon as a player tests positive, then his teammates quarantine so they have to go remote learning. Sometimes the coaches test positive. Conflicting policies turn schools into chaotic s*%tshows even more than they were before. If, and this is a big if, Covid is as serious as the media and the director of the state HHS say it is, no athletics should have been allowed in the first place.

Transparent, clear, obvious lunacy. Irrational in the extreme. But then, all our current "masters" have no interest in logic, facts or truth. They want POWER, and I think they like it a bit more when we know that their rules are arbitrary. They don't have to bother trying to convince us that they are sensible. These thugs know that they don't have to make any sort of logical sense, because the drones must do what they are told!

Other times I think they just issue these idiotic and illogical edicts knowing they are idiotic and illogical, just to see if we are so thoroughly propagandized and fearful that we will follow them without question, and revel in their own dictatorial powers.

First thing DeWine does in the morning is shoot himself in the foot and then out the still smoldering appendage in his mouth. He has less than zero chance of ever being re-elected and the people don't want his hand-picked successor. Hopefully some of the Ohio House efforts to recall, impeach, or even just limit his power will rein this tyrant in and give the Ohio people some relief.

German authorities are baffled: a knife-wielding man, identified in the German media as “Jibril A.,” stabbed three people to death and injured five others in Würzburg, Germany, on Friday. Police and intelligence officials have no idea why he did it. Yes, he was screaming, “Allahu akbar!” during his attacks, and yes, he told police interrogators after he was arrested that he had now carried out his “jihad,” but really, what does that even mean? The German-language Tagesspiegel reported Saturday that “the motive for the fatal knife attack in Würzburg on Friday has still not been fully clarified.” Of course it hasn’t. After all, Islam is a religion of peace!

The U.S. House of Representatives passed universal background check gun control Thursday, criminalizing private gun sales conducted apart from an FBI background check. The legislation, H.R. 8, sponsored by Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA), passed by a vote of 227 to 203. H.R. 8 would expand retail point-of-sale background checks so as to cover private points-of-sale. This will criminalize an individual who sells a 5-shot revolver to a lifelong neighbor, unless that neighbor first undergoes a National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) check, conducted by the FBI.

Gov. DeSantis Introduces ‘Anti-Mob’ Legislation To Allow Floridians To Shoot Rioters And Looters 20 replies

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has proposed an “anti-mob” bill that would allow residents to shoot rioters and looters who target businesses following nationwide unrest. The law would expand the state’s self-defense law, which currently forbids “the use of force in defense of property,” by increasing what constitutes a “forcible felony,” according to the Miami Herald. DeSantis seeks to make looting or “interruption or impairment” of a business such a felony, thereby justifying deadly force to prevent it, the local outlet reported.

As the Marxist revolution oozes forward, I occasionally wonder what will happen to the useful idiots when the commies seize absolute power in this once great Republic. I believe that most AT readers are familiar with the term, but for those who need a brief refresher, a useful idiot, as defined by Wikipedia, "is a derogatory term for a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically used by the cause's leaders." In my opinion, this definition can be applied to a majority of the young, brainwashed radicals who have no idea about the true history of Marxism

The Hispanic, Trump-supporting group of protesters also gifted her with a new nickname, “Que mala,” which would translate to “how mean,” or “how bad.” A great, short expression of “how bad” she and Joe Biden have been for the border — and for the country in general.
