Not long before Election Day, the Associated Press ran a story headlined "House already won? Pelosi thinks so, and reaches for more." The article said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was so confident about keeping control of the House that she was preparing for an expanded Democratic majority. "Pelosi notes experts have suggested Democrats will pick up between five and 15 House seats," the outlet reported. The speaker said her "goal originally was to hold the House," but with the prospects of a big victory, "everything we get after that will just be a further enhancement."
A week later, Pelosi and fellow Democratic leaders were stunned

They only cherry picked the down ballot races. Spanberger got her magic 10,000 votes from a thumb drive. The Dems took the races they really wanted and held back a little bit because they were stealing the presidency. Anything else is pure crap.

With the President on the ballot we won seats. So how did the President lose then?

She's still queen of the House, but let's see what kind of new Republicans we've sent to fight her and the RINO establishment. I hope our girl squad goes after and demolishes their evil squad--can't even affectionately call them girls. . . Shame.

Even if the republicans regain the House in 22, history shows that they usually lack the guts to do much with a majority anyway - not so with the Dems...they may be commies but they all read from the same sheet of music.

If Joe Biden takes office in January, Congress will gradually become irrelevant. It will probably happen by way of the Democrats stealing votes in more and more districts until there is no one left to stand in their way.

To me, it does not seem that Republicans won anything if the stolen presidential election stands.

Indeed it is, #6.
So, let's call this Nancy's last ice cream social...who in Democrat leadership, or among the up-and-comers is "moderate"? The sad fact is that those under 30 are overwhelmingly kumbaya do-gooders who see the government as an interventionist instrument of social formation and enforcement of those social gains. Conservatives have nothing for these kids. Ask them...they'll tell you.

As of today, eleven women have been newly elected to the House of Representatives. Why aren't the leftists celebrating that? Usually they would be dancing with joy that so many women have been elected. Oh, wait. My bad. These aren't pro-abort women so they're evil incarnate. The next time leftists say they want more women anywhere, they mean just pro-abort, pro-life need not apply because they aren't really women. Right?

For all the Tucker-bashing suddenly going on, he did make an excellent point last night. Thinking that those 10 House seats were won simply because we ran women/minorities/vets in those races is a frighteningly bad idea, particularly when the Minority Leader is trumpeting it. Yes, Trump has expanded the tent but to capitalize on that by drifting toward identity politics is not a winning strategy.

"McCarthy called the president and met with Cheney and asked them to stop with the communist stuff. "They said, 'Why?'" McCarthy recounted. "And I said, 'Because you've jumped the shark. Their policies are socialist. There are Democrats who call themselves socialists. There is Bernie Sanders. But communists — the country thinks that's too far."
I disagree. They ARE communists, and should be called such. These 2 following quotes should always be remembered:
"We can't expect the American people to jump from capitalism to communism, but we can help their leaders in giving them small doses of socialism until they awaken one day to find that they have communism" – Nitika Khrushev And this one: ""The goal of socialism is communism" - Vladimir Lenin

#8, I agree the Republicans need to stop focusing on taxes but what taxes mean to people directly. How they will affect those under 35 specifically, for the next 30+ years of their lives.
#10, I don't believe the focus was on identify politics as much as it was illustrating the party is much more diverse than Democrats want to portray the Republican party. That Republicans elect people without necessarily having a "carved out" district. I can assure you the two Korean-American woman that flipped CA-39 and CA-48, have very balanced demographics.
This should be celebrated and mentioned to help dispel the notion that the Republican party is not diverse.

I have a feeling that Republicans had little to do with it. President Trump crashed Pelosi's party. I doubt many of the Republicans ever even mentioned his name during their campaigns. Enjoy listening to Madame Botox, and try to remember who put you there.
