A New York Times contributor complained that those who voted for President Donald Trump this election refuse to have “productive conversations” with him. Unsurprisingly, it turns out this same writer has spent the better part of the last year insulting and mischaracterizing the very type of person he claims to have attempted to “reach out” to. New York Times contributor and self-proclaimed member of his own “resistance,” Wajahat Ali, wrote an article published Thursday in which he explained these efforts to “reach out” were not actually listening or having conversations with Trump supporters, but offers to give politically-charged speeches to audiences in red states. He lamented these efforts were made impossible

Gee, who wouldn't want to have a conversation (one-sided, of course) with this beacon of love and tolerance? A tweet FTA: The reality is many of these Trump supporters on television, radio, & social media cosplay as tough, fearless, alpha warriors, but they're the most terrified, fragile people on Earth. The world's most brittle, porcelain teacups. They're scared of their own shadows, bc it's black. 12:20 AM · Nov 10, 2020

I have noticed for years now, that the muslims who enjoy the privilege of living in our country are sure tone deaf, condescending and intolerant. Most Americans as the Left expect do not act like door mats when insulted like he and others like to do. Then they wonder in a whiny way why their efforts are not rewarded. We don't like those who insult us, or treat us so disrespectfully Mr. Ali. They are being challenged in a major way for the first time in at least 30 years. They don't know how to handle this. I blame the Bush era and his snooty ways of not dealing with the vitriol for most of the problems we have now.

Just like a college campus. As long as you agree with the liberals, you can assault, vandalize and spew profanity and be lauded by senior faculty members. Or, in the early days of automobiles, it was said that you could buy a car in any color, as long as it was black.

It may just have been the fact that they were beamed in virtually to the hearing room, but our billionaire Big Tech overlords looked more cyborg than human when they testified before a Senate committee Tuesday. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, 43, in funereal black, with a castaway beard and nose ring, stood stiffly in front of an austere shelf of white bowls and empty bottles and talked about “humans” versus “algorithms.” Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg, 36, was freckly and clean-shaven, but came across as equally robotic. He wore a white shirt, blue jacket and striped tie against a bland backdrop of silk drapes and a potted plant. Both spoke in a slow monotone.

Let’s be clear about something. The coronavirus crisis is no longer an emergency situation. It might have been in March or April, but it absolutely is not as we enter the third week of November. It’s a tragedy, it’s a problem, it’s a crisis, but it is not an emergency, and we have to stop treating it like one at the expense of our children. Thursday, all in-person public schooling in New York City will close again. There is no excuse for this given all we know now, and it is abusive towards our kids.Scientific consensus is a term that gets tossed around far too often,

I won’t repeat that litany, except to say the appearance of impropriety is at least suggestive and, if you are the worrying sort, potentially damning. It’s partly a matter of what I think of as the Goldfinger principle, after the avid gold smelter and nuclear weapons amateur Auric Goldfinger. Goldfinger was a sensitive man. He didn’t like it when people began looking into to his business ventures with too much curiosity, largely, no doubt, because many were ostentatiously illegal and, in some cases, evidence of grandiose homicidal insanity.

Election Day 2020 was unusual for several predictable reasons involving high in-person turnout and veritable avalanches of mail-in ballots. One exceptionally odd event, however, took everyone by surprise — vote counting suddenly stopped for hours in several key swing states late Tuesday night. One of these mysterious halts occurred in Fulton County, Georgia, where election officials insisted that a broken water pipe necessitated a four-hour delay before counting of absentee ballots could resume. Yet evidence for what would have been quite a serious plumbing issue has been strangely elusive. There doesn’t appear to be any paperwork involving this leak.

When President Trump refused to concede the election to Joe Biden in the immediate aftermath of Nov. 3, we argued that he had the right to mount legal challenges if he believed there had been irregularities, mistakes, fraud, or all three. Democratic objections and outrage were as hypocritical as they were inevitable, coming as they did from a corps that refused to accept the 2016 election result not for days, weeks, or even months, but for four years. But although fair-minded people know there are legitimate procedures for litigation, and that these should be allowed to play out, there is also wisdom in the phrase, “put up or shut up.”
