ARLINGTON, Texas — All year long, from February, when the coronavirus pandemic was a concept beyond our imaginations and a shutdown was inconceivable, until Tuesday night, the Dodgers believed this was the year. This was the year those hovering ghosts – produced by annual heartbreak the last seven years — would vanish. This was the year they would add another round of World Series highlights to the 1988 reel that grows grainier each passing autumn. This was the year and this was the team to finally end a championship drought going on 32 years. It happened Tuesday night inside Globe Life Field, a cavernous shiny new building 1,400 miles away

It’s because that’s when Bobulinski fully understood that Joe was very much involved in the foreign business schemes that son Hunter Biden and Joe’s brother Jim had cooked up. The final proof came during two conversations over two days in May 2017. He first met the former vice president in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Joe was to speak the next day at the Milken Conference on the “moonshot project” of finding a cure for cancer.“Hunter and Jim and I are there,

The size of the Supreme Court isn’t dictated by the Constitution. It’s set by statute. That’s why the high court has had as few as five justices and as many as 10. The size of the Court has remained locked at nine justices after a dispute over justices in the 1860s. Liberal Democrats are making lots of noise now about growing the size of the Supreme Court to tilt the now conservative advantage back in their favor. And Republicans are more than happy to deploy Democratic threats as a wedge issue, one week before the election.

While the majority of the polls suggest that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is leading, or at best that it’s close, those polls suffer from at least three problems. In fact, Gallup has found that respondents can answer very differently to questions with the same topic even in the same survey based on the language that’s used. As the national political media have conducted practically the entire Democratic presidential election campaign, the credibility of the media is entirely implicated in the election result. In the latest revelations about the financial activities of the Biden family while presidential candidate Joe Biden was the vice president, the national political media and the principal social media companies have sandbagged another large media company, News Corporation’s New York Post, and have tried to impose online silence on the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. The media either had to suppress the story to maintain support for their candidate and continue to make his campaign for him, or give normal attention to

Britain is now recording more Covid-19 deaths each day for the size of its population than the US for the first time since June, data has revealed. Both countries are currently recording around two Covid-19 deaths for every million people—but Britain's rate stands slightly higher at 2.63, compared to 2.4 in the US. The UK suffered far higher daily death counts in the spring, relative to its population. But over the summer, while Britain's outbreak fizzled out, America's failed to improve. Now, coronavirus cases have picked up once again in Britain as it battles a 'second wave' and deaths are climbing
