Even if Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, is elected president, damning evidence will continue to emerge that his grifter-son fully embraced the Washington tradition of shameless influence-peddling. If nothing else, Hunter is a monument to greed. An ellipse should be erected in his honor. But the unresolved and trenchant questions are: how much did Joe Biden know and to what extent was he involved in the illicit (if not illegal) schemes?

Phil Murphy said he learned that a senior administration staffer had tested positive for the virus. “I will now, unfortunately, have to take myself off the field,” Murphy said before going into quarantine through the weekend. John Hyten, may proceed despite Hyten’s claim that his military service prevented him from being sued. Hyten, who has denied the accusations against him from Army Col. A black woman who was seriously injured in a police shooting in suburban Chicago that saw her black boyfriend shot dead this week claims they did nothing to provoke the shooting. Right after the presidential debate Thursday night, Press California Google searched “Hunter Biden Laptop.” The first thing to pop up on our phone in California was this ad from the Biden campaign, sending users to a New York Times diversionary piece that refers to a Senate investigation that didn’t include more recent revelations regarding the laptop. Joe Biden knows he’s in for it. Not even the Dem-NYT-Google axis can protect him. His campaign might have wised up that such a keyword purchase wasn’t a good idea. As election fever rises to new levels every few hours, my mind goes back to November 2016. In particular, two incidents that occurred following Donald Trump's stunning victory stand out in my memory. A week or so after the election, I was leaving my local post office when I spied a bunch of keys lying on the curb. I picked them up and went inside to ask if they belonged to anyone. A woman I spoke with recognized me from a sitar recital we'd attended, and we began chatting. Whenever we saw a passerby, we would ask if the keys were theirs.

New York City, with the highest population density in the country, also accounted for the highest death toll. San Francisco, the second highest among large cities, was a major incubator.
