Covid hits Murphy's office

It really speaks to the fact that Covid-19 is spiking again in New Jersey when it strikes deep inside the governor’s office.  Yesterday, in the middle of a press conference in Blackwood, Gov. Phil Murphy said he learned that a senior administration staffer had tested positive for the virus. “I will now, unfortunately, have to take myself off the field,” Murphy said before going into quarantine through the weekend. Spokesperson Mahen Gunaratna said Murphy did not know the staffer, Mike Delamater, had been exposed or had any symptoms prior to traveling to the event. Later, the governor’s office announced that adviser Dan Bryan tested positive after taking a test “out of an abundance of caution." Here's how Bryan, who, as of last night, was not exhibiting symptoms, described when Murphy and Delamater were together:

As President Trump said many times, the fault for allowing the COVID-19 virus into the USA and the greater world lies with the Chinese Communists who facilitated the virus getting out of China through global air travel. Trump has also made clear that it is nobody’s fault in the USA, not him, not Joseph Biden, and not Governor Murphy for the virus spreading across the country. Biden has been falsely blaming Trump for not controlling the virus by not ordering the entire nation to wear face masks at all times, not requiring the nation to maintaining social distancing, and not shutting down the nation’s economy all year. Except for a national shutdown, but reality is that masks and social distancing has been ongoing across the country for many months. If Trump had shut the nation down for most of the year, as Biden says he will demand if he is elected, today there would not be any groceries or meat products in the food stores and the toilet paper wars would be ongoing in full force. As Governor Murphy is learning even with masks, social distancing, and shutdowns, the virus is so contagious that it can pop up anyplace at anytime. But life must go on, and if you are elderly or have a compromised immune system you should be very careful and not go into enclosed places where there are crowds of people even if they are wearing masks. Remember the vast percentage of people who have tested “positive” for COVID experience no symptoms, or think they have a cold. So the country should not allow fear of COVID to effectively wipe out the US economy and bankrupt the country. Ask yourself how can the President, who is also the Commander in Chief, order the Armed Forces to risk their lives all over the world and stay hidden in the White House basement? In Biden’s case he must have a compromised immune system as he is certainly scared to death of catching COVID there is no doubt about that, recently Biden has even been wearing two face masks, one on top of the other, the mask on the bottom may well be an N-95 mask that is supposed to be reserved for medical personnel and is not available to the public, covered up by what appears to be a cloth dark colored mask.

Australian Senator Malcolm Roberts released a video dropping a truth bomb regarding the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “dictator-style power grab” pandemic treaty. According to the WHO’s website, on March 30, 2021, it announced an “urgent call for an International Pandemic Treaty,” stating that such a treaty is needed to orchestrate a single globalized response to pandemics. And, “25 heads of government and international leaders” have come together in a joint call to form the treaty. “The World Health Organisation’s pandemic treaty and International Health Regulation amendments are a threat to Australia’s sovereignty. Similar amendments were defeated before but we must defeat them again,” said Roberts in a statement.

There is a wise saying that behind every great man lies a great woman. One can safely say President Donald Trump is quite fortunate for having had First Lady Melania Trump by his side for nearly two decades. Former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller revealed in his new book “Soldier Secretary: Warnings from the Battlefield & the Pentagon about America’s Most Dangerous Enemies” that Melania had an “unexpected” presence in the Situation Room just before the operation that would end ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s miserable life.

It’s a state Democrats have been buzzing about for years as a battleground hotspot — one expected to draw in big spending on the presidential race, a marquee governor’s race and congressional elections that could tip the tightly divided House in 2024. But the party has never been able to push North Carolina into true tossup-state status like it has with Arizona or Georgia. Democrats haven’t won the state’s electoral votes since Barack Obama’s heralded 2008 victory. They haven’t won a Senate race since then, either. And while North Carolina has delivered just enough mixed results to make clear it is, in fact, winnable for the party,

By contrast, the full expanse of New York City covers just 193,700 acres. Even Bill Gates’ total land ownership is dwarfed by China’s, with just 270,000 acres.
