(UPDATED with Fox News statement on lawsuit) Tucker Carlson is returning to Fox News Channel tonight after a short vacation, but along with the cabler newser itself, Sean Hannity and the now fired Ed Henry, the top rated host also finds himself in the center of a whole new legal spotlight of alleged misconduct at the now Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace-run outlet.

Oh Please... What are the odds? FNC most watched are being attacked by leftists obviously to try to shut them up because they are effective. Jessie Waters and Greg Gutfeld are next....

Total BS. They've had success removing a number of conservatives from Fox over the last few years without any evidence to prove anything. Since Tucker and Sean are probably the number one and two rated shows on TV, this suit is based on removing them to make way for (probably women) less conservative personalities.

The Areu woman is that wild-eyed liberal nut job who used to appear on FNC whenever a host wanted to get a crazy liberal opinion on some topic. Google her image and see what I mean. If Tucker came on to her, she should have been flattered.

This sounds like another attempt to take down Tucker Carlson. Areu's Fox News postings were as "The Liberal Sherpa" and it appears that she is bearing the baggage of liberals who want to get Carlson fired from Fox. This is an unproveable "he said, she said" and just reeks of politics. See https://video.foxnews.com/playlist/tucker-carlson-tonight-the-liberal-sherpa/ for Areu's postings.

Cathy Areu, the "Liberal Sherpa?" I found her tiresome and not the least bit entertaining. Not doubt it was a terrific gig for her, but her voice was annoying and she gave little enlightenment, just parroted leftist mantras. I don't believe for one second that Tucker acted improperly with her. But they need someone to take him out. He's just too popular.

Just standing at the summit is enough to anger certain people enough to want to knock you off. Envy is one of the seven deadly sins, is it not?

Baloney....
Hannity and his team have been digging into the Russia Hoax for three and a half years and have been proven correct on everything they have uncovered. Gregg Jarrett, John Solomon, Sharyl Attkisson and the team have been remarkable. They are actual journalists doing their jobs.
Tucker has been on fire calling out the hypocrites and morons populating the other "news channels." He's been fearless calling out politicians, both Democrat and Republican, for the insanity that has been taking place in DC, and now across the country.
Cue the tried and true "sexual harassment" claims with a tad of "sex trafficking" on the side.

Just gotta wonder who is bankrolling these women...regardless, they are horrible human beings for trying to destroy innocent people, who have wives and children.

I remember the Liberal Sherpa. She was not likable and not informative. Plus she looked like a liberal sherpa, not appealing! Why he had her on his show beats me. I always thought he played her up more than she was worth. Her intention is obvious. To set Carlson up with charges that can't be proved. It's all hearsay. Perhaps, she's using Avenatti as her lawyer. Yep, she's looking for a full time paycheck. FOX needs to send her packing. Stand up for your best employees.

Fox News has a bad habit of bringing on cute young women to hang with later middle-aged men as opinion foils, with "party dress" showing much decolletage. Some became "stars" in their own right, making the "A" list and hanging with the newsmakers. Great for ratings, especially male ratings. And then the chicks come home to roost. It is reminiscent of the days when the local TV weather girls were busty local beauty contest queens, until someone hired a meteorologist.

Areu is a certifiable nutcase. It appears to me carlson had her on to mock her ridiculous convictions. Intellectually they are on significantly different planes. I dont see the attraction.

What is wrong with these women, especially Eckhardt? Don't they know how to deflect advances or, that doesn't work, say no? Not excusing the men, but if women didn't comply, they wouldn't keep doing what they do.

Hadn’t a clue who she was, I went and did an image search. She is fixated on her legs and exuding SEX. Having known girls like her and what we called them, I cannot risk being banned from here for saying the words.

If anyone falls for this, they're fools. No one is that dumb anymore. Why aren't the feminists up in arms about this? The dems are taking a true crime and making it frivolous. They have no morals whatever. I've never seen such power hungry thugs.

I read some of the complaint and the allegations against Ed Henry must have had some validity as he was fired.

I can understand how areu may have thought Tucker was smitten with her. Why else would he keep bringing her back onto his show? She was a bigger no-talent waste of air time than the bimbo body language girl O'Reilly kept forcing onto his viewers.
FWIW, there was an episode of Tucker two weeks ago when he was caught red-faced with laughter coming off a commercial break. He wasn't ready for the camera light and promptly returned to his serious face, ala the wellstone crowd. Maybe it's just me but it seemed to belie everything his show is about. Is he taking any of this seriously as we are or is it just shtick to make a buck?

Tucker Carlson gave Cathy Areu a platform to voice her views in front of (around) twenty million viewers, on many occasions. Now she turns around and joins a lawsuit that accuses him of sexual harassment. Thanks a lot, Cathy. How civil of you.
The notion that Tucker Carlson would misbehave sexually is possible, but it just doesn´t sound right. Even if he did proposition Ms. Areu once, is that a matter for a lawsuit? Men and women proposition each other all the time, and it´s not criminal unless and until it crosses into the realm of legal misconduct, as in multiple instances that create a hostile workplace. Frankly, I don´t believe that Tucker Carlson sexually harassed anyone. He has too much to lose! He seems very happily married to me, and appears to enjoy being a good husband and father. Tonight, he´s just returned from a camping trip with his family.
As for Ed Henry, I just don´t know. In any case, both men deserve the presumption of innocence. I have to ask myself: Would Cathy Areu lie? I think she would if it made her a 15-minute-of-fame Left-wing superstar. This looks like a pre-election setup.
