All this time we thought it was senile dementia, but maybe Joe has rabies. "Cerebral dysfunction, anxiety, confusion, and agitation...As the disease progresses, the person may experience delirium, abnormal behavior, hallucinations...."

I feel sorry for those shepherds, but at least they weren't separated! All too often dog owners just don't have the will and/or patience to properly train their pets from the get-go....especially sad for smart dogs like shepherds who would have welcomed that training.

this does not surprise me...the Biden's have no discipline..and never gave the young one from the shelter..the training that he needs..Gawd..they are stupid..can't blame the pup..best dog I ever had, was the most beautiful female..lost her in the early 1960's and still think about her..I swear when she died..my Dad never did get over it...she guarded his car when he went to his construction sites every day.she rode in the back seat like a princess..but she scared the c**p out of anyone who got close to the car...she also saved my son's life when he was 2...

I'd say disposable props but recent history would lead me to believe crazy Joe was in fact the biter.

Re: #2 - I agree completely and would go so far as to say that not training your shepherds is a form of animal abuse. They very much welcome being shown what their owners expect of them.

We need to know the race, gender identity and sexual orientation of the security guard that was attacked to ascertain whether this rescue dog is racist, anti-trans or homophobic!

Generally, in any part of the country, the dog would have been put down.

Put a dog in a strange environment with strangers and this is the result you may get. Is this the same dog who Biden said caused him to fall after he pulled the dogs tail while naked? Maybe Oprah should interview Biden about all that?

Vicious German Shepherd— a “police” dog— bites White House security guard. What was the staffer’s race? (The all-important question). And at last speculate on the spin were this a Trump administration event.

Was this the same dog that "attacked" Joe Biden a couple months ago? Yes, he told us that he tripped over the dog, but how many Democrats will actually tell you the truth?

Re #7. Dogs are an extension of their masters. And while I have come to despise all things Bush, they had great dogs. The occupiers currently in the WH are a train wreck on every level.

My question is what did the 'biteee' do to the dog to deserve getting bitten..in my 79 years I had a multitude of dogs, the only one that ever bit someone was a Lab who bit a child that came onto the property, uninvited, to play on a swing set, without my children present, and apparently kicked at the dog.

My first reaction was, why did they have to be sent away? What did they do wrong? I would have said, “Good boy! Good doggie!”. But then I realized I’d misread the headline and the dog bit a security guard and not a CNN reporter.

Well, at least they didn't have them run over, like the Clintons.

That particular breed is well known to be territorial and protective. The dog was probably just reacting instinctively. That being said when you have a dog like this you have to take that into consideration when it is introduced into an environment like the busy White House. It wasn't the dog's fault rather his owners were at fault. Not unusual considering the hubris.

The poor dog was just following instinct as the alpha wolf has deteriorated and can't lead, so the dog established dominance as the new alpha.

I always sort of looked on Sleepy as a chihuahua kinda guy. If they have to put down both of these hounds and have them stuffed, I doubt if China Joe would even notice....well maybe he might question why they kept falling over on their daily walks.

Some years ago my friend and I took our Great Danes to a show in DC. On the way home we stopped for a traffic light where a black man was standing on the corner. My friends male Dane went completely berserk barking at that man. Make of that what you will. I should point out that Danes are some of the most gentle, sweet animals on the planet.

I wish that all of you had the same compassion for Pit Bulls as you do for these shepherds. If these had been Pits most of you would be screaming for euthanasia. It is almost never the fault of the dog - it’s the owner. Anyone can make a dog mean and violent. The Pit we had for 13 years was the sweetest dog we’ve ever owned.

This is OT from the dog bite, but I always wonder what kind of damage is done to our White House from the dogs that are brought in. A black lab lives in this house and i see the damage he does to the grass in the yard. I picture two German Shepherds watering the wall or table legs or furniture if they aren't taken out and are we paying someone to watch after the dogs both in the White House and now in Delaware? Just wondering.

Most dogs don't bite without some provocation. That includes pitbulls.
There is more to this story.
If the dogs are a problem, leave them in the private quarters. And walk them yourself.

So do the dogs have the run of the house back in Delaware? Last time I checked, their 'masters' were living in D.C. and the kids had finally moved out.

We had neighbors who had a German Shepard when I was growing up. She was a great dog and very well trained. #3's pet sounds a lot like her. Not surprising at all that an out-of-control family like the Bidens would have an untrained dog. Poor thing probably freaked out at the new environment, the many more people around and probably unfamiliar dogs the Secret Service has somewhere around.

A lot of people say it’s how a fig is RAISED. I’ve been taught it’s how a dog is TREATED. You can have a dog raised abused and mistrusting and turn it into a lovable lap dog. Visa versa you can take a good calm dog and make it mean. I think #14 and #19 are on the right track.
