Fox News Hosts Get Real Awkward When
Newt Gingrich Tries to Do a Soros Dog-Whistle

Original Article

Things got extremely awkward on Fox News panel show Outnumbered on Wednesday after former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tied billionaire financier George Soros—often the focus of anti-Semitic tropes—to violence in cities, prompting the show’s co-hosts to directly confront him on why he was invoking the liberal philanthropist. Towards the end of a discussion on the property damage that’s been caused by violent protests over police brutality, Gingrich—who is now a Fox News contributor—insisted that the real issue was with local elected leaders.

I saw this as it happened; it was very strange. It was as if someone ordered Harris Faulkner to shut it down. What could this be about? You cannot mention Soros on Fox News?

This article does something I hate in any type of article. It says that George Soros is often the focus of anti-Semitic tropes without giving any examples. I first learned that George Soros was Jewish from the press telling me he was the target of anti-Semitic attacks.

I saw it too. I accidentally saw it because I don't tune in to Outnumbered any more. I used to like both Melissa Francis and Harris Faulkner, but several months ago I became disenchanted with both. This article doesn't really get to the way it really was, they didn't 'push back', they shut it down. Newt was right they were wrong.

It is well-known that Soros has supported Dem candidates running for DA in various parts of the country. The woman who was anti-deathpenalty in Florida. DA Foxx of Jussie Smollett infamy. The female DA in St. Louis who charged the couple who displayed arms when protesters trespassed on their private property. Just a few.

On one of these Alphabet Talk shows, some years ago - I think shortly after he nearly broke the Bank of England - he was sitting down with some gushing talking head and the discussion wandered off to George's 'humble origins'. He was a teenager, by his own account in Nazi controlled Hungary, and very poor. He made a living for himself, betraying fellow Jews to the Nazis, then looting their houses while the Nazis processed his distant relatives for Auschwitz and similar places. He laughed about it as the talking head grew nervous and asked him if he were joking. He wasn't. But he eventually realized that a live talk show wasn't the place to air his origins, nor what anyone else but him, would consider despicable, even criminal behavior.

Soros supporters have been pushing the anti-Semitic smoke screen for years. Soros does not practice Judaism or promote any pro-Israel causes. It is just a way to get people to shut up by calling them an "anti-Semitic racist" rather than looking at the way Soros has used his wealth to promote anti-democratic revolutions around the world.
