Daniel Christopher Booth, 36, had warrants out for his arrest in Baker County for selling methamphetamine, the Suwanee County Sheriff’s Office wrote Wednesday on Facebook.
When a deputy attempted to arrest Booth at his job at a solar power plant, the sheriff’s office said, the 36-year-old ran away and dove into a pond.

Better known for making in-car navigation systems, TomTom will be building a maps app for Huawei phones since Huawei lost access to pre-installing Google Maps.

The US claims Huawei acts as a conduit for Chinese government espionage, an allegation the company denies. In a newly released impeachment brief, Democratic House managers argue that President Trump must be removed "immediately" to protect the integrity of the current presidential race. "The Senate must use that remedy now to safeguard the 2020 U.S. election," the managers write.

South Bend's police department instituted a series of diversity and anti-discrimination training sessions in 2017. The training sessions took place as violent crime surged in the city, reaching the highest level in 20 years in 2018. Adam Schiff is up to his usual games, claiming the NSA and CIA have been withholding potentially important documents relevant to impeachment.
Of course, Schiff is raising this concern only on the eve of the trial. It was not raised during the House investigation. He wants to drag out the trial while the supposed NSA and CIA conduct is investigated. Sound familiar? Just like in Kavanaugh as one ridiculous accuser after another came forward (remember the supposed Rhode Island boat sexual assault?), all Democrats supposedly wanted was an “investigation.”

Two police officers in Hawaii were killed Sunday, Gov. David Ige confirmed, after they reportedly responded to an assault call at a Honolulu home.
The officers encountered a man with a firearm who opened fire near the base of Diamond Head, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported.
Sunday night, authorities said that two females and the suspect were unaccounted for after the shooting.
The two officers who were killed have been identified as Tiffany-Victoria Enriquez and Kekaulike Kalama, both of whom had less than 10 years each on the force, Honolulu Police Chief Susan Ballard said at a news conference.
The New York Times announced late Sunday that its editorial board was breaking "from convention" and will endorse two candidates for president in 2020: Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
The paper’s endorsement has traditionally been one of the most coveted for a Democratic politician. The editorial board wrote that in choosing these two candidates, it recognizes that both "radical" and "realist" models should be considered.
The paper said it spent more than 12 hours with the candidates before coming to its conclusion.
The Trump impeachment sham is unique in a number of different ways compared to previous impeachments and most notably because no crime was committed or defined.

At least twelve Chinese, Cuban and Bahamian nationals came ashore early Friday morning less than five miles from President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, and only hours before the president arrived for a weekend visit.
One onlooker immediately reported what he or she saw to the Palm Beach Police Department.
“A citizen complaint that a boat came ashore on the island, there was a landing, and people disembarked from the boat and fled onto the island,” PBPD public information officer Michael Ogrodnick said in a statement to local station WPTV.
A huge winter storm blasted parts of the Northeast with a dangerous mix of snow and ice as it moved offshore over the weekend.
