He has a dream—of leading a New York City that is home to far fewer Midwesterners. Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams—the leading fundraiser in the 2021 mayoral race—used Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday to deliver an inflammatory broadside against newcomers from the nation’s heartland. “Go back to Iowa, you go back to Ohio,” he said during a speech in Harlem.(Snip) Speaking at the National Action Network’s “King Day Celebration,” hosted by founder the Rev. Al Sharpton, Adams implicitly played the race card as he denounced gentrification by singling out two states, Iowa and Ohio, that are 91 and 82 percent white

One of Baraque’s greatest accomplishments was in making it not just socially acceptable but also brave and commendable for People of Color to fully voice how much they hate white people.

You tell 'em slim. He's gonna be a great mayor after deBlabo finally goes belly-up. But Mr. Adams sir, since you declared NYC is for only New Yorkers, does that include the 73-year-old guy sucker-punched in Brooklyn last nite, or how about all the Jews who are being assaulted and mugged by 'your folks'. Is NYC for them too? I'll wait for your answer, you racist blowhard.

I grew up in NY and live in Ohio now....I dread my semi-annual visits to see family and friends. It is a horrible place to live, despite all that it offers. Which is still a lot. Perhaps, after his second term DJT will return to his birthplace and run for Mayor to make NYC great again! I wouldn't put it past him! And he'd do it too!

The city of San Antonio has been forced to fork over more than $315,000 in legal fees stemming from its decision to ban Chick-fil-A from opening a restaurant in the San Antonio International Airport, according to a local report. The city council voted in March to block a proposed Chick-fil-A restaurant at the airport over the chicken chain’s alleged “legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior.” The ban inspired the Texas Legislature to draft the “Save Chick-fil-A” bill, which Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law in June, and state Attorney General Ken Paxton opened a federal investigation into potential religious discrimination.
