House Democrats sent a formal request for John Bolton to testify as part of the impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
Bolton, who was Trump’s national security adviser until his resignation in September, was sent a letter by House Democrats inviting him to testify on Nov. 7.

Is the solid Democratic front in favor impeachment beginning to crumble? It’s probably more correct to say that it never existed at all. We got two clear signs this week that rank-and-file enthusiasm for the Pelosi/Schiff effort to rid the country of the Orange Menace is, shall we say, well-controlled. New Jersey Democrat Jeff Van Drew stated that he was likely to vote against Pelosi’s resolution to “formalize” the impeachment inquiry when it comes up Thursday, or Friday, or sometime before the end of the Holocene.Van Drew told NBC reporter Alex Moe that “I would imagine that I’m not voting for it.”
One way or another, Nancy Pelosi will go down in history. Let’s hope she doesn’t take America with her.

SAN FRANCISCO — Police in San Francisco are looking for an assailant who struck a mother in the head from behind while she was walking her child on O’Farrell Street on October 17th.
Police released surveillance video which shows a woman holding hands and walking with her child. They are passed by a man going the opposite direction.

In an age of “cafeteria Catholics” who pick and choose which church doctrines they will adhere to and which they will ignore, an age where we have a Pope Francis, who would have us pray for the oceans and invites Amazonian “priests” and their fertility gods into the Vatican, it was refreshing to see a Catholic priest speak truth to power and tell a craven Catholic politician that abortion-on-demand is a moral evil opposed by the Catholic Church and to approve of it means you are unworthy of receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion. .
British lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to hold a December election, in hopes that a switch-up in Parliament will either kill or bring to fruition a final vote on leaving the European Union after the E.U. just extended the Brexit deadline to Jan. 31.
The Labour Party and Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservatives were in agreement on a December election. The House of Commons voted 428-20, with dozens of lawmakers abstaining, for a bill authorizing the election on Dec. 12.
