'Y'all were running from us':
Michelle Obama claims 'white folks'
are 'afraid' of living in black neighborhoods

Michelle Obama spoke out against "white flight" in a recent interview, saying she experienced it as a kid and that it remains a problem. "As families like ours — upstanding families like ours who were doing everything we were supposed to do and better. As we moved in, white folks moved out because they were afraid of what our families represented," the former first lady said Tuesday at the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago. "I want to remind white folks that y’all were running from us ... This family, with all the values that you read about, you were runnin

MIchelle, that's just not true!! I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to live in Martha's Vineyard on a 29 acre property on the water JUST LIKE YOU but we've only got 12 years before we're underwater, or something. And btw, Louis Farrakan lives in the whitest suburbs that ever was. It's a proven statistic that wherever blacks are more than 20% of the population, crime is sky high. Why is that Michelle? Why does crime seem to follow every significant percentage of population of color in the USA?

Back in the 50's and 60's in Buffalo, NY the area known as the Fruit Belt saw the white population move to the suburbs. Blacks were moving in and reality sets in as the compatibility factor was non existent. Michelle you know why, you are to dishonest to acknowledge it. We are sick of your woe is me because I'm black. I lived in a predominantly black neighborhood for 14 years. I happen to be white. Lots of good people there! But a few thugs as well as slum lords (thugs and slum lords have a symbiotic relationship) ruined it. Gunshots at night multiple nights a week. A drug house next door to the east. A dump of a house to the west. And yet the thing that worried me the most was being called a racist. And the only person who did was a mouthy black woman who served on city council. Made me physically ill because it wasn’t true. I don’t live there any more. Never care to go back. Scared? Not really. Just fed up with BS.

I want to live in a community that supports the police and doesn't back up a suspect who gets killed when they confront a cop with a gun. This stuff is beyond skin color. It's about actions and attitudes. Not many want to live with lawlessness but the elephant in the room is that the communities themselves set the bar for what they will tolerate. So far that has led to most people with economic freedom to go live among law abiding people. It is no coincidence that those communities support their local sheriff.

I can think of many black folks I wouldn't mind living next to. They are clean, mind their lawns and property, church going, have children raised with respect by a mother and father that live together. Also participate in community endeavors, school functions, keep their trash cans inside till trash pick up day and return the cans the same day. Also are polite and caring toward their neighbors. I'm not asking too much. It's just the way RESPECTABLE people of all races and creeds live live. I don't believe I could stand having you for a neighbor. You have big mouth, poor taste and you and your husband are UPPITY. Not my type of neighbor.

Back in 1978 I was driving a cab for the Blue Cab Co, of Oak Park, IL( suburb of Chicago ). I was east bound on Madison St. stopped at the light on Cicero Ave. (a Black neighborhood). I had the misfortune of being the car right at the crosswalk. All the Blacks stared at me as they crossed in front of my cab and one guy pounded on the hood of my cab. White people don't belong in black neighborhoods if the want to stay alive for long.

My father-in-law moved his family out of the West side of Chicago when his children were getting bloodied by their neighbors on a regular basis. My wife still bears the scars. He didn't move them because he wanted to loose 90% of the value of his house, he didn't leave at the sight of black, he left at the sight of red flowing from his children. How is that racist? That sort of community organizing wasn't exactly a secret. We humans have a talent for pattern recognition and learning, the word gets out, the truth. How is it then racist for the the folks in the next neighborhood to skedaddle at the first sight of blacks moving in before their property values plunged and their children were pummeled? You know what's racist Michelle? The denial that there is a pattern of violent behavior in the black community. If you'd like to blame white people lets sit down over a cup of coffee and I'll help you construct that argument. Seriously Michelle, I do blame white people. I blame LBJ and the other predominantly white democrats who created the new plantation. I blame predominantly white folks in the media who helped paint the republican party as the impediment to black advancement in our society. We have much to talk about Michelle. "There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”—Booker T. Washington 1911. I don't think my father-in-law created this by fleeing violence. Do you?

She's touching on my "Neighborhood Test" for racism... ask any liberal (white or black) which neighborhood they'd rather walk through at night, a black urban one, or a wealthy white one? If they have a lick of honesty they'll say, "the white one"... which puts the lie to any feelings of modern white racism.

This is why, when they go to Martha’s Vineyard, they spend most of their time in blackish Oak Bluff? I’d love to see a fact check on her childhood experience. The neighborhood they lived in and how the demographic changed. The little street that I grew up on now has four black families. No one is moving anywhere. And the homes are increasing in value. She is a victim of RDS. Racial Derangement Syndrome. It’s the only card she knows how to play as she cozies up to Anna Wintour, the Clooneys, and the other white pals they have tried to cultivate...

"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage of my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery - then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved." Reverend Jesse Jackson, 1993 (I clipped that out of a newspaper back then, saved it, and note that the Dollar Bill Clinton crime bill was being debated at that time. And when Lady Lucifer was asked about the crime bill, her response was that there were lots of young black men who were predators who should be locked up. In a recent year in Erie, Pa., in an eastside black neighborhood, two Polish-American teenaged brothers were riding their bikes. A 14 year old black boy, with a criminal history dating back to age 5(!) had a stolen 45 caliber pistol in his possession, demanded the bike of the 18 year old boy, who refused the demand, and the 14 year old shot the white boy dead. The 14 year old was placed in jail, and in a recorded conversation with his mother, told her not to worry. "I drooled, and talked dumb to the police." (The murderer appeared to be about 10 years old.) The 18 year old white boy was about to graduate from East H.S. in Erie, and was enlisting in the U.S. Army. What would Michelle say about the Reverend Jackson's comment? What would she say about the 14 year old black boy murderer? And why is she saying 'y'all.' which is a cultural appropriation of a white southerner term?

I moved out of a black neighborhood. Well, I was the 3rd generation in my family to live there and it wasn’t a black neighborhood when my grandfather moved there. I moved out because my father was mugged, my brother was mugged, my manager at work was mugged, my car was stolen a few times and 3 people I knew were murdered. These crimes were almost all committed by blacks or Latinos. Now, if she’s saying that the people who committed these crimes had black values, then who is the racist, her or me? Likewise, if she thinks breaking immigration laws and committing fraud and identity theft are immigrant values, then isn’t she anti-immigrant?

Grew up in a Burough of 4000 people. Third highest crime rate in the county. Property values were in the toilet. Absolutely no opportunity. It was a poor town. Nobody stayed there if they could help it. People that moved in came from areas that were actually poorer. Racial composition was 50/50. Don't blame the people for leaving. This was mismanagement. The town was a thriving community before the steel mills shutdown due to obsolescence. The town had banked on those steel mills being there forever. No income, no city services like POLICE. It took years to get that way. The longer they waited, the harder the problems would be to fix. In the end, there was little or no incentive to fix anything. My brother and I both left. We moved our mother out later. White flight? Race had nothing to do with it. It was unsafe. We had all been mugged. Our house was destroyed.by arson. The town was UNSAFE. If we wanted good paying jobs, we had to leave the area. This had nothing to do about to do about race. Michelle, get off your high horse.

On the same day she asked House Democrats to write articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took part in a CNN town hall that focused on her momentous and controversial decision. A student who identified himself as a registered Republican asked Pelosi Thursday night how she plans to unify the nation, as one side demands impeachment and the other side calls it a witch hunt. “I myself think that one of the ways that America will heal is through the arts,” Pelosi answered.

The Justice Department’s inspector general has concluded that the FBI omitted crucial details in its requests for warrants to surveil Trump campaign associate Carter Page, saying the agency neglected to mention that some of the information the warrant applications were based on was shaky. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s yet unpublished draft report found that the FBI did not inform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that the controversial Steele dossier, cited in applications to spy on Page, was unreliable, according to the Washington Post.

Former secretary of state John Kerry endorsed Joe Biden for President on Thursday, citing Biden’s performance serving as vice president in the Obama administration as proof that he has what it takes to defeat President Trump. “The world is broken,” Kerry told The Washington Post. “Our politics are broken. The country faces extraordinary challenges. And I believe very deeply that Joe Biden’s character, his ability to persevere, his decency and the experiences that he brings to the table are critical to the moment. The world has to be put back together, the world that Donald Trump has smashed apart.”

As USMCA negotiations drag on, Texas Democrats Vicente Gonzalez and Filemon Vela urged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to press Mexico for firm security commitments in the war on Mexican cartels to protect U.S. trade and tourism. “We can no longer afford to be silent. This trade pact is critical to our economy and we need to get this right or risk standing in the way of our own economic success,” Gonzalez said in the release. The representatives, who serve in districts that border Mexico, warned Pelosi in the letter that “while business and individuals alike have taken steps to mitigate the risks, including paying a protection fee to criminal

One symptom of a society in crisis is the unreliability or even corruption of its own auditors. After all, when the watchmen have lost moral authority to watch, who can be believed or trusted? Or, as the Roman satirist Juvenal famously put it, “Who will guard the guardians?” It was recently reported that FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith altered an email to bolster a suspicious FBI effort to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant authorizing the surveillance of Carter Page, a onetime employee of the Trump campaign.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
