Democrats are constructing a case against President Trump that will allow them to draft at least two articles of impeachment based on obstruction of justice and abuse of power.
“At some point in time obviously, we will conclude the information gathering phase and make a determination whether they rise to a place where no one is above the law,” Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland, said Tuesday, describing the impeachment process. “Abuse of power, as Hamilton pointed out, was a high crime and misdemeanor.”

So it would seem Democrats consider investigation of corruption by Democrats is “abuse of power.”

Beat me to it #1. Trump was targeted by Obama's Administration the moment he descended that escalator in Trump Tower. The Dems have infiltrated every level of DC with their minions who place their beliefs in their ideology above the scope of the jibs they do. In other words, the PRESIDENT is responsible for creating policy and the Administration is supposed to carry it out. But not the Dems-they feel they OWN the gvt and try to sidestep the wishes of the electorate (that's We The People). They are enemies of the state, make no mistake.

Hamilton also specified what 'Abuse of Power' meant. It wasn't simply telling your political opponents to "Kiss off!!".

The clock is ticking. They need to start proceeding against Trump because the Durham/AG Barr report is soon to hit the street.

Oh you mean like using the IRS and Lois Lerner? That abuse? Steny? Give us a break? You mean like spying on the other candidate during the campaign, and setting up his people to be prosecuted to cripple his administration? you mean like that abuse? Careful where you tread Steny there are a lot of land mines in this field you are plowing.

"Likely" is a ways from "will". There will be no move to impeach so long as PDT maintains a favorable public approval. The threat garners enough headlines that will hopefully have negative effect. And that's why the never ending bombardment by the UNIPARTY that is beginning to include more Republicans like Mitt. Waiting for Laura Bush to weigh in eventually...believe it.

We see demonstrated, yet again, the Democrats playing the short game on tactics. That's why we have Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. Go ahead Dems, turn the Trump era into permanent civil, political war and impeach for really trivial reasons. When the worm turns, we'll have a ball under your new standard, because history shows no Democrat president will ever live up to the standard you set. Duh.

Abuse of power is not a crime and protecting the separation of powers in the Constitution is a virtue. Sen. McConnell needs to shut this down from the Senate side this week.

Abuse of power is a euphemism for implementing foreign and domestic policies the Democrats disagree with! Those policies that end the pay for play corruption of the deep state! Simple as that!

Any abuse of power or accusation of it has to be decided by the highest court of the land - the People. Impeachment is embarked upon after three thresholds have been crossed - 1. Proven and generally accepted existence of behavior or acts which constitute a crime. 2. A consensus across the political spectrum that it rises to the level of 'high crimes and misdemeanors. 3. An obvious urgency that precludes waiting until the next election where voters can have their say. NONE of the above three have been met in this case. But we are not telling the Democrats anything they don't already know. If they don't impeach him, he might get re-elected. That is the fear driving them. It is a case of high perversion and injustice.

The House Democrats will most probably finally get around to voting to impeach President Trump during the October 2019 surprise time a few weeks before the November 2019 election, and then claim that impeaching the President had nothing to do with the upcoming election.

Sadly, millions of people have made up their mind, despite only having some of the information.
This has to have negative ramifications for the entire juris prudence system, not just what's happening in Congress.
This was illustrated in the Russian Collusion case, the Mueller Report and the Kavanaugh hearings.
Millions of people had a hardened negative conclusion with only some information, likely due to their own biases.

The Dims, enabled by the Demedia, have been trying to "impeach" PDT since the day after the November 2016 election. Facts, evidence, justification, etc. don't matter here.
This IS a political lynching.

Any old excuse will do! There is no need for anything to be true, as we have repeatedly seen from democrats. Why, they could impeach him for not drinking wine! Horrors! How can anyone exist in society without drinking wine?

"Constructing" sounds a lot like "fabricating" but there is a world of difference.
