As we’ve been covering the various stories relating to the recent release of videos by our military, showing strange aircraft (spacecraft?) in our military airspace, there’s been one repeating theme. Most of the people speculating on the origin of these craft seemed to generally be from the military or the “ufo community.” Where have the more mainstream scientists been in this debate? At least one of them stepped up to the plate recently to weigh in with a surprising take.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg criticized some gun owners on Friday, suggesting it was sad that their “sense of manhood” depended on owning a gun. In an interview with TMZ Live on Friday, Buttigieg was asked about the Twitter feud between former Congressman Beto O’Rourke and Texas Republican Representative Briscoe Cain. After O’Rourke told gun owners that “Hell, yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15″ during the Democrat debate on Thursday, Cain dared Beto O’Rourke on Twitter to come and take his AR-15. Buttigieg agreed with O’Rourke that Cain’s comment on Twitter was a “death threat,” and the South Bend mayor admonished Cain for failing to have a more intelligent conversation about gun issues.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) said Wednesday that Miami has only a few years left on this planet. At an NAACP forum, the democratic socialist touted the Green New Deal, her radical climate change plan many have criticized as unrealistic. Economists, investors, and energy industry experts have frequently noted the plan's astronomical costs and the unreliability of renewable energy, but Ocasio-Cortez said her critics are the ones who are "not realistic." "When it comes to climate change, what is not realistic is not responding … with a solution on the scale of the crisis—because what's not realistic is Miami not existing

The media are downplaying the significance of one of President Trump's signature achievements. They don't know what they're talking about. When Alaska was granted statehood in 1959, it was given the right to select 103 million acres of the federal land in Alaska, 28% of the total. Its first choice was ANWR, on the north slope of the Brooks Range. This was based on the advice of George Gryc, who had studied the arctic slope for the U.S. Geologic Survey.

In all of the decades that the modern version of the contentious debate in America over guns, freedom, and the Second Amendment has been going on, the gun-control advocates have repeatedly assured gun owners of one thing: they don't want to take our guns away from us. My, what a difference one presidential primary full of unabashed Democratic statists makes. After years of being told that we are paranoid for saying that the anti-gun Left wants to confiscate our weapons, the anti-gun Left is letting us know in no uncertain terms that they want to confiscate our weapons. HOUSTON—For many Americans watching the Democratic debate on Thursday night, Joe Biden's "record player" comment was yet another sign of his age. But to others, his suggestion that black parents "don't know quite what to do" with their children was a worrying instance of the former vice president being tone deaf on race. In a question on racism in the United States, moderator Linsey David asked Biden, 76: "In a conversation about how to deal with segregation in schools back in 1975, you told a reporter, ‘I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. Don't do it. That's our advice to the United Auto Workers as it weighs whether to take its members out on strike should negotiations with the Big Three automakers fail to produce a contract by the 11:59 p.m. Saturday deadline. This would be the worst possible moment for a damaging work stoppage. Both the automakers and the union are going through a period of instability, as well as tremendous uncertainty about the future. UAW officials must know that it's a lot easier to take workers out on strike than it is to bring them back to their jobs.

Liberals desperately need to see impeachment happen, if for nothing more than to soothe their own hurt feelings. It's hard not to feel bad for them now, as they realize that it’s just not going to happen. Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson finds himself in this sad state of affairs. After reading his latest op-ed, I’m thinking of sending him a care package. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi walked out of her regular press briefing on Thursday morning, in a huff after a reporter asked whether Democrats were in the early stages of pursuing the impeachment process. Of course, he was always perfectly willing to have the rules apply to every other player — but when it was his turn, he suddenly determined that the game was flawed from the beginning. Nothing better typifies the Left’s disdain for our institutions today. Brain-dead climate activists came up with the scathingly brilliant scheme of protesting against airplanes at Heathrow Airport by flying drones in front of passenger planes to prevent them from taking off or landing. I guess the climate activists got it in their heads that making airplanes crash would be an excellent way to reduce the world's carbon footprint. Fortunately, British police foiled their plan by jamming drone frequencies. Several nutcases were arrested and, for the moment, plane passengers have been spared the ordeal of being grounded by idiots who think threatening to kill people is a legitimate way of battling global warming.

And the winner is … Donald Trump. The Democrats’ third presidential debate was a long-winded, platitude-filled disaster where no single candidate could claim a clear victory. Instead, the seven men and three women took turns displaying why they are all probably unelectable. Start with Joe Biden’s incoherence. The nominal front-runner, the former vice president had a 40-year reputation for never shutting up. Now he can’t manage to finish a sentence without interrupting himself. Nearly all his efforts to make a point were swamped by a sudden change of direction mid-sentence, and then another change a few words later as a random thought popped into his head and out his mouth.

In Houston last night, O’Rourke abandoned his cloying euphemisms (“mandatory buybacks”) and delivered a deliberate, carefully scripted endorsement of gun confiscation, which, within minutes, his campaign began to sell on t-shirts. “Hell yes,” Beto said, “we’re going to take your AR-15.” Thus, upon the instant, did two decades’ worth of Democratic rhetoric go up in a puff of smoke.

Not only that but Gibson says the Chinese could even sell fake medicines with no effective drugs in them or even add lethal contaminants.
