One of Brett Kavanaugh's male classmates at Yale has alleged the Supreme Court Justice made unwanted sexual contact with another female student while at the school. A New York Times expose details a story by classmate Max Stier who says he saw Kavanaugh at a party with his pants down. Friends allegedly pushed his penis in to a female student's hand. Stier told senators and the FBI about this, but the bureau did not investigate, according to the NYT. Stier runs a non-profit in Washington and has declined to discuss the story publicly.

Comments:

Poor Brett Kavanaugh. The liberals will be after him for the rest of his life.

Why this now? Is Roe v Wade about to come before the SCOTUS? Perhaps Jenny could look into what Bill Clinton did at Yale and Oxford if she wants to do salacious stories.

Regarding this or any other such story. At the time, if such a thing was done by a peer, you make your choice as to whether to tell someone in authority (the fraternity sponsor, dorm resident advisor, security, etc.). Then you either tell at the time or shut up. Forever. Don't come back later and try to raise something you should have reported twenty years ago. That goes for Blasey Ford as well as this guy. This kind of thing, if it really was done by a peer, is traumatic, but you either tell at the time or just shut up and live through it. You don't come back later and try to ruin someone's life. I do know what I'm talking about.

Do as I just did and go and have a detailed look at Stier’s very altruistic-sounding organization - I could find no mention of Soros, but its focus on wanting to run (“guide”) the appointments and staffing in each new administration or in second term administrations sounds very Soros-y. Something about its loftiness does not square with Stiers’s coming out of the woodwork at this late date with his accusation of Justice Kavanaugh, along with graphic description. Something very very fishy about him and the organization and what he is trying to do - with the organization, with his own self-promotion (he does a lot of that) and his vendetta against Kavanaugh which is really more anti-Trump activity. There is a very bad smell about him and the whole deal. Max Stier, CEO Partnership for Public Service https://ourpublicservice.org/staff/max-stier-3/ The list of “advisers” is a mile long. Includes Susan Rice and a number of other Obamaites.

A Parisian shrug at the dalliances of the rich and powerful marks one as sophisticated. An affair carried out with the insouciance of Ilhan Omar and her lover Tim Mynett demonstrates the shameless embrace of not only the protagonists of their minuet à deux but also the nonchalance forced upon the secondary actors, the spouses, and, even more forgettable, the children. Everyone must play along. Adults have needs, many unmet, and what’s wrong with finding amore where one can? Whose business is it? The media coverage of this very European vacation from vows has been gleeful.

I thought we'd at least get Oprah. President Trump's victory was supposed to be the start of a new era of celebrity politics in America. He proved that a candidate with no political experience but substantial name recognition can win — that fame is, for many Americans, reason enough to give a campaign a serious hearing. For 2020, I anticipated the Democratic Party would respond in kind, and I don't think I'm alone in that expectation. My colleague Matthew Walther made the case this past spring that a celebrity challenger might well be Democrats' strongest tactic against

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and civil rights icon Angela Davis were formally inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame on Saturday. The hall honored them and eight other women – Actress Jane Fonda, Native American lawyer Sarah Deer, retired Air Force fighter pilot Nicole Malachowski, suffragist and cartoonist Rose O’Neill, New York Congresswoman Louise Slaughter, composer Laurie Spiegel, and AIDS researcher Flossie Wong-Staal – in Seneca Falls, New York, the site of the 1848 women's rights convention. Slaughter and O’Neill were posthumously honored. But each of the living inductees reportedly accepted their invitations, The Associated Press reports.
It’s time for Joe Biden to
drop out of the race

Asked recently why he was running for president, Joe Biden insisted to a reporter that burning ambition was not the reason. “Could I die happily not having heard ‘Hail to the Chief’ play for me?” Biden asked, then answered his own question by saying, “Yeah, I could.” That’s good to know because it will make the next step easier. It’s the step where Biden announces he’s withdrawing from the race. Yes, yes, I’m aware that he’s the front-runner for the Democrats’ nomination and that front-runners never exit voluntarily. But I’m also aware that Biden knows something else, too: that growing concerns about his mental and physical capacity are legitimate.

WASHINGTON President Donald Trump ousted John Bolton in part due to frustration with his third national security adviser’s guidance to pair military power with economic pressure against Venezuela, according to current and former administration officials. One senior administration official said that Trump had grown weary of repeated vows from Bolton that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro would be out of office in short order. A second official said that they had clashed over Bolton’s efforts to advance planning for military intervention. That official pointed to the administration’s national security strategy, which predated Bolton’s tenure and called for “strong diplomatic engagement” to isolate rogue nations in the Western Hemisphere. “That has been

The city of Chicago is in dire fiscal and financial straits with an almost billion dollar budget deficit, bonds rated at junk status or below, numerous extremely costly legal judgments, a shrinking tax base, and unfunded public pension liabilities to the tune of an astonishing $42 billion. Other than that, it's a great place to live. The state of Illinois has its own financial troubles, so the city can expect little or no help there. And good luck getting a federal bailout through the GOP Senate and signed by a president who's been called a "racist" by the mayor.

Ah, politicians and their entertaining anecdotes. It doesn’t come as any surprise the most interesting story of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary features former Vice President Joe Biden. The Democratic front-runner had previously recounted an incident he said happened when he was a 19-year-old college student home on summer break. Biden said he took a job as a lifeguard at a city pool in Wilmington, Del., hoping to better educate himself about the black community, as reported in 2017 by the Washington Post.It was here that a young Biden allegedly had a fantastic showdown with a gang leader named Corn Pop.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a 2020 presidential contender, joined calls for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to be impeached on Sunday following newly reported allegations of sexual misconduct against him. “Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him,” Warren tweeted Sunday. “Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached,” she continued, referring to President Trump.

Joe Biden drew on the loss of his own infant daughter in a speech marking the 56th anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Alabama, connecting the attack with persistent issues of race and the rise of white nationalism under President Trump. “Hate is on the rise again and we are at a defining moment in American history again,” the former vice president said Sunday from the pulpit of the church in Birmingham, Alabama, where four black girls were killed more than half-a-century ago. “Hate only hides, it doesn’t go away.”
