As we’ve been covering the various stories relating to the recent release of videos by our military, showing strange aircraft (spacecraft?) in our military airspace, there’s been one repeating theme. Most of the people speculating on the origin of these craft seemed to generally be from the military or the “ufo community.” Where have the more mainstream scientists been in this debate? At least one of them stepped up to the plate recently to weigh in with a surprising take.

If he really said "the burden of proof is on the government to prove they’re not from intelligent beings," he's no scientist. But we already knew that -- he's just a for-rent talking head.

UFOs are for real. They are using Earth to harvest humans for their food source. It explains why millions are missing and disappearing every year.

A civilization with technology capable of traveling multiple light years would have no need for any of our food, water, minerals... or to hide. Earth has nothing that isn't plentiful throughout the galaxy. It's silly to map our needs like fuel and water to a hypothetical advanced alien race. To cross interstellar space would require more resources than are available here. We would be as primitive to them as a pack of lemurs. There may be more technologically advanced life in the galaxy. Let's hope we never find out, (ask the Indians why).

Hogwash. Bring me a complete spacecraft, or a "little green man", alive or dead.
Until then keep your Bigfoot, Yeti and UFO fairy tales to scare the children.

UFOs are more believable than global warming/cooling. So there...

A long time ago, there was a story on Unsolved Mysteries about a woman, her mother and her son, driving down some dark road one night, who saw what they thought was a UFO. They described it as triangular shaped and the son was left with radiation burns and hospitalized. They tried to talk to the government about it but were turned away. Years later, we learn of the stealth fighter, a triangular shaped object the government was developing. Make of that what you will,

Could all of the current bunch of democrat people running for president be from another planet. They may not be from outer space but they are surely spaced out and not intelligent.

#8, nothing related to the stealth aircraft is radioactive, or ever was. We do not use nuclear power for air vehicles..
Not impossible, but wildly improbable.

There is probably something to it. There are far too many reports going back thousands of years for it to be nothing. So why do the governments of the world keep it secret? What harm would be done by releasing the information? We can only speculate at this point, but I notice we went from piston engine aircraft and very rudimentary jets before Roswell, to the SR-71 in just a few years. We went from vacuum tubes to transistors during the same time, and from copper wire to fiber optics. Pretty weird coincidences.

"It’s entirely possible that the government doesn’t have a clue who built those things."
"possible" should be "probable." The government can't even pass a simple budget that doesn't get us into more red ink every year and most of the players are rock stupid.
As for UFOs, the phenomena continually break the laws of physics. They are not built here.

You can't prove a negative. Kaku is drumming up a new TV show...or something.
The technology base for developing the SR-71 was already in operation because of WWII. It is no coincidence that Area 51 was adjacent to A-bomb test sites. The A-12 Oxcart program (the precursor to SR-71) did technical testing and conducted test flights at Area 51. No one wanted to go anywhere near the test sites and once the A-12 started flying and being seen by other pilots, the program used the UFO craze of the 50s to divert the public's attention. BTW, the first operational flights of the A-12/SR-71 were in 1964. Kinda makes one wonder what we have flying around today. I'd look there before focusing on extra-terrestrial fantasy crap.

Just try to explain how the immutable universal laws of physics will be violated. As the messages in the early days of the computer age used to say "Does not compute".

Re#5 Earth has an abundance of several things that probably isnt readily available elsewhere. Oxygen, water and life. And a never ending supply of stupid.
That said, Im of the opinion that aliens are a real thing. I havent however concluded that aliens are visiting earth. It is however a possibility.
Just once, I would like to see a picture of a supposed UFO thats high definition and in focus.

Far more likely these are made on earth. What you don't know, you simply don't know. Examine the word Unidentified. Just because you can't identify it doesn't mean Han Solo and the Wookie traveled across the universe to do a colo-rectal exam on hayseeds.
