HOUSTON—For many Americans watching the Democratic debate on Thursday night, Joe Biden's "record player" comment was yet another sign of his age. But to others, his suggestion that black parents "don't know quite what to do" with their children was a worrying instance of the former vice president being tone deaf on race. In a question on racism in the United States, moderator Linsey David asked Biden, 76: "In a conversation about how to deal with segregation in schools back in 1975, you told a reporter, ‘I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins

Leftists, like viruses, fail to see that they bring only corruption and death to the 'Host Organism'.
It's the wishful politics of spoiled and greedy children. Joe is the very poster child for this form of ethical immaturity and ham fisted opportunism. In the world of 'deceivers' and silver tongue devils he has always worn the 'sheep's clothing' of a well intended bumbler.
BTW---There's a resurgence of vinyl records among purists who feel they can sense the superiority of analog over digital sound. If Joe had an IQ above room temperature he might have cleaned up his gaffe with this tid-bit.

The Democrats are eating one another. They really are cannibals. Don't vote for a cannibal, people.

Actually, Biden is partially right about this. Black parents plural do know what to do with their kids. But what percentage of black children in this country have only one parent? Those are the kids who are left to run rampant with no father in the home and a mother who can’t and won’t control them. Unfortunately, Biden and none of the others on that stage have any workable solution to deal with it.
As to record players - my husband just bought a new turntable - yes, they are coming back, and is happily playing his old LPs.

Two years ago, my granddaughter asked for a record player. Yes, they are coming back. I watched an old Perry Mason show last night. The way the murderer was caught was by proving he had plagiarized a paper in law school. Biden plagiarized a paper in law school and once on the campaign trail the first time he ran for the Presidency. He and his family are crooks who like the Clinton's keep getting away with it. Why is he even allowed to run is beyond me.

I had a used record store owner tell me that old CDs that I was thinking of selling were past their interest period, that he might not buy them. He said the new interest was in used LPs. My daughter points out that CDs are so passe that new laptops don't have CD readers (most don't... Apple led the way on that). For myself, I found a good turntable that I can link to my computer to 'rip' my LPs and I enjoy listening to the rips when I do things like read Lucianne.
LPs are not what they used to be and could never be that way again. But there is a mild resurgence.

Wrong, #5. Target on line has seven screens of turntable choices, Walmart has eighteen screens, Amazon has them, with prices at all three sites ranging from $50 all the way up to $498(and beyond) for a Sony turntable with USB connection. They are being given away on game shows. Used record stores still exist and are thriving.

I may be off on the details, but this morning on Fox, Charles Payne described shopping in a large liquor store owned by a leftist Dem pol. The aisles were uncluttered except where brands often favored by blacks had cameras pointed at them, along with signs indicating "you're being watched." That, he said, is among the not-so-subtle reasons why racism still exists and remains "respectable", especially among Progressive Democrats.
That was one very powerful message.

Joe was also saying in his not-so-subtle way that black children do not hear enough properly-spoken English outside the home at night and therefore come out into the world speaking Ebonics. True enough, Joe but you can't say that about the chosen ones. Has anybody ever explained PC to Old Joe? It's easier to just pay them mo money and also give their teachers a huge raise and everything will fall into place by itself - the democrat way. What's next, removing Cajun, New Englandese, the Southern drawl and Spanglish? How about the slightly more important problem of them killing each other?

Hey, record players are coming back into style. I just heard that vinyl sales will outpace CDs this year. And the record store at my local mall just tripled its floor space. Old Bite Me may be seriously out of touch with the folks, but wait long enough and the fads will circle back around to him.

Joe is a blurter and has been this way for years. It's only worse now. He should train himself to slow down and take his time to think his words through. I'm the same age as Joe and I can empathise with him. How many times I call my grandson the name of my dog or my granddaughter the name of my daughter. For me, it's a quirk. For a presidential candidate it's a problem. Slow down Joe.

Every democrat up on that stage is a racist. Biden is just the one being singled out. They all believe that blacks are incapable of raising their own children. That is racist. To say that a child needs to be in school at 3 is absurd. A child should be at home with his mother when he is 3 yrs old. Now let's face the real problem that no one wants to talk about because the feminists will have a coronary. Mothers are important to children. They are the first and most important teacher in a child's life. They are the most valuable member of society, like it or not.
There is no teacher that can give your child a decent set of values, they can only try to support the values that are taught in your home. Read books, teach your children to read. Now, here is the dirty little secret, too many homes have parents who cannot read themselves because they have gone through a system with not underpaid teachers but teachers who are overwhelmed with a lack of support from administrations who are more than overpaid. They themselves are poorly educated by a system that has all be destroyed the English language in the name of political correctness. You want your child to be successful in life? Teach them to read and to write and to speak the "King's" English. Because like it or not that is how you will be judged in this life.
Have you listened to interviews with football or basketball or any other players? Just listen to these so called college grads. It is a disgrace that any school would allow these athletes to graduate when they cannot even put together a coherent sentence but that is where we are.
How we come back from this place, is a problem that I am not sure has a solution until our society looks in the mirror and decides what is truly of value to us all.

Right on #6. Black kids are taught not to use proper English. Best example of this is Obama. He can't place a single noun with a single verb to this day. Taxpayers paid 12 million annually so that this dope could speak in public. This ignorant speech pattern separates blacks from normal society. Their goofy names don't help the problem either!!

Thank you, #13. I quit my job to be a stay-at-home mom. We had to alter our lifestyle but it was worth it to be with my daughter every day and to do exactly what you stated. Nights and weekends my husband did the same. When she was small, people used to ask me if I worked and I’d say, “Yes. I have the most important job on the planet - raising my child.”

Racism is a feature of the Dim party, not a bug. They created a camouflage of PC buzz words to replace the n-word and many other favorites from pre-WWII. They learned to accuse others of racism to protect against the deserved criticism of themselves. Doublespeak has a tendency to act like a boomerang. I believe we are beginning to witness the return flight to its unaware senders.
That said, thanks Joe for bringing up record players. I still have my turntable from 1980 and I've never stopped spinning vinyl. (I've not counted the inventory, but must be a couple hundred between the two of us. Each collection is in alphabetical order.) I clean house on the day TK has his meetings in town and blast the classic 70's rock and roll. While watching the sunsets from our deck, during "golden hour", I spin the 60's for TK. Last night we enjoyed a four-record set of the Everly Brothers. Its great fun...and the sound is higher quality that never degrades.

Whatever he said in answer to a race question would have been seized, analyzed to the very syllable, and criticized wildly. This is an argument we can't win. Sue me, shoot me----I'm not listening to their vacuous nonsense anymore.
