RENTON, Wash. — Federal authorities have taken custody of a batch of election mail found near a Renton dumpster as officials investigate how what are alleged to be hundreds of ballots from past elections were left unclaimed. The discovery surfaced last week after Washington State Republican Party Chairman and state Rep. Jim Walsh posted a video on social media showing a box of outbound, unvoted ballots he said had been found near a strip mall dumpster.

Maybe look into turning vote counting over to the horse-racing industry. You can bet on a race from anywhere and by the end of the race, they know exactly who to pay and how much. Within minutes. And pretty accurate as they don't want to miscount and award someone more than they won.

It's time - - more than time - - to make dumpsters states. No dumpster could possibly be a worse state than Kalifornia or Minnesota or Illinois or New York. Count all of the ballots found in dumpsters - - and give electoral college votes to the winner!

How did the ballots end up behind a strip mall? Mail that is unclaimed should be returned to sender. Someone had to be hanging on to them ''just in case''.

We know for certain that massive, massive voting fraud happens with mailed ballots. Mailing ballots should be absolutely illegal. If you cannot come in person to vote, then too bad for you. Military stationed overseas should have voting at their bases.

Nice to see O.P. again. Need to figure out whether this was an intentional give, or a rookie mistake. The need to misdirect or even go undetected is too obvious for this to be an actual flub. And it's just too easy to shred stuff like this.

Just another example of why I propose the following: 90 days prior to any mail ballots are sent out that the number of registered voters eligible to vote is publicly announced. Every ballot must have a tracking number on it, on the mail-in envelope - would only be the number of registered voters eligible to vote that was publicly announced. Any drop box will have ATM-style technology with only 1 ballot submission at a time that will be time/date stamped. The number of ballots picked up from drop boxes will be publicly announced when picked up. Every ballot box, bag, truck, vehicle, or whatever is used to collect ballots will have tracking numbers by RFID and the number and type of collection also be publicly announced - no more "lost" ballot boxes or bags. Put these in place for any/all Federal elections. At no time was any of this asking the public to obtain anything so the Democrats won't be able to say it's impacting any particular individual.

SEATTLE — Yalla Seattle is a walk-up window owned by Taylor Cheney that serves Middle Eastern food in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Over the past few days, they have raised over $1,000 for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) to provide medical relief to children in Gaza. On Sunday, the restaurant donated 50% of its sales to the fund. Cheney says they gave $1,000 to the charity, a major amount of money for a small business. Joe Biden’s behavior is constantly inspiring discussions about elder abuse and the 25th Amendment. He gets lost, has no idea what he is saying half the time, and has to be led around by bunnies and children to get where he needs to go. But while there are certainly all those concerns, when one looks at his second, Kamala Harris, that might give anyone pause, because of her issues. First among them would be her speaking problems. Joe Biden’s chief issues are lying, ignorance, and incoherence. She shares the common issue of not knowing what the heck she’s talking about. That might explain why she has such speaking difficulty.

OLYMPIA, Wash. — “Pot,” “weed,” “grass,” “Mary Jane,” “flower” — there is no shortage of terms to describe cannabis. However, Washington state is taking one word officially off the table: “marijuana.” Legislators recently passed a law that changes every Revised Code of Washington with the word “marijuana.” The change gets rid of the term, swapping it out for the word “cannabis.” Supporters say the word “marijuana” has a long history of racism. “The term ‘marijuana’ itself is pejorative and racist,” said Washington state Rep. Melanie Morgan during testimony in 2021. Morgan is a Democrat representing the 29th Legislative District and sponsored the bill

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar blew up at a reporter this week for asking questions about accounting “discrepancies” the Democrat blamed for overstating her net worth by millions of dollars on financial disclosure forms. In May last year, Omar (D-Minn.) claimed she and her husband, Tim Mynett, held assets worth between $6 million and $30 million. However, an amended filing reported by the Wall Street Journal last week put the couple’s wealth at between $18,004 and $95,000. The lawmaker claimed the initial filing was riddled with accounting errors.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday blocked enforcement of a California law that would have required federal immigration officers, including ICE agents, to unmask and wear visible identification during operations in the state. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted the United States’ motion for an injunction pending appeal. The court ruled that Section 10 of the No Vigilantes Act (S.B. 805) “attempts to directly regulate the United States in its performance of governmental functions,” violating the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution. California, Governor Gavin Newsom, and Attorney General Rob Bonta are now enjoined from applying or enforcing the provision against federal agencies and officers.
