(SEATTLE) – Police reports allege that a Seattle Elementary School Principal was uncooperative after a repeat offender broke into a classroom. According to Seattle Police, the incident happened Thursday around 2:30 p.m. The school day was almost out when a man hopped the fence onto the Sand Point Elementary School campus. Student Amani Powell-Rodriguez says she was on the playground and vividly remembers the moments that followed. “Someone said to run, so everyone ran into the class,” said Powell-Rodriguez. When You Eat Oatmeal Every Day, This Is What Happens According to the fifth grader, the man came into her classroom twice. The first time he just looked around.

Comments:

The intruder is Black and in my opinion that is the only reason the school refuses to cooperate with police.

Lock the principal into a room with the moms of the kids and maybe they can "convince" him/her/it to cooperate.

And they are looking for a scape goat for school shootings? I’m getting the impression that there are so many of these events nationwide- I believe that i read lockdowns were a weekly event at the Uvalde school- that making reports is overwhelming the system. In other words, widespread lawlessness is overwhelming a system based on low levels of lawlessness. Of course this school administration sounds racist and pro addiction.

The principal seems to have a principle other than keeping the school secure for the current students. Maybe the trespasser was a recent graduate who, under the influence of drugs, thought he was still a student and tried going back to class on autopilot? Who knows what the devil was the principal's driving principle in this...

Principal Ric Baileykaze says he's a "strong believer in restorative justice." Perhaps he eschews police assistance because he's planning a reconciliation session between the intruder and the child whose backpack he stole.

According to another report, after the principal refused to cooperate leaving the suspect to walk away, Harasam assaulted a DHL driver and tried to steal his truck resulting (finally) in his arrest. Harasam is one of Seattle's designated "High Utilizers" (someone with multiple police contacts and arrests).

OLYMPIA, Wash. — “Pot,” “weed,” “grass,” “Mary Jane,” “flower” — there is no shortage of terms to describe cannabis. However, Washington state is taking one word officially off the table: “marijuana.” Legislators recently passed a law that changes every Revised Code of Washington with the word “marijuana.” The change gets rid of the term, swapping it out for the word “cannabis.” Supporters say the word “marijuana” has a long history of racism. “The term ‘marijuana’ itself is pejorative and racist,” said Washington state Rep. Melanie Morgan during testimony in 2021. Morgan is a Democrat representing the 29th Legislative District and sponsored the bill
