Worst Thing GOP Could Do For Midterms
Is Embrace Amnesty, So Of Course They’re

You almost have to admire how far some Republicans are willing to go to lose the 2026 midterms — and ultimately, the country. Throughout their recent two-week vacation, several GOP lawmakers have been making the media rounds to tout “bipartisan” legislation they claim will finally solve America’s broken immigration system. There’s just one teensy-weensy important detail that somehow gets brushed aside: The bill would allow millions of illegal aliens to continue living in the United StatesSponsored by Reps. Maria Elvira Salazar, R-Fla., Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., and other lawmakers, the so-called DIGNIDAD (Dignity) Act permits “certain long-term undocumented immigrants to earn legal status, without amnesty or a path to citizenship”

What I find unsettling is that there are voting communities undergirding all these hare-brained ideas, and the politicians proposing them... ranging from wholesale amnesty; to men in womens' sports, bathrooms and locker rooms; to the whole sad gamut of inanities and insanities we read about every day...Yeats was prescient when he wrote "The Second Coming."

I want to hear President Trump's opinion. He gets a little soft on this subject. I want America and Americans taken care of first. If there is even one veteran on the street (or all other needs), send them home and let them apply, but they need to get in line, no cutting. So the sooner they leave, the sooner they can get in line. No special treatment, it's an insult to those who did it lawfully.

Pass the SAVE Act first. Get that done. Then if you want to try to solve the immigration problem, you need to start with at least a 10 year wait in the back of the existing line for those in the process of becoming a U.S. Citizen. My understanding that line is about a 10 year wait, so they can adjust their 7 year to 10 years wait time. This would NOT be amnesty since amnesty would be immediate and more in line with what happened in 1986 when Republicans were fooled into thinking they would get the Democrat promised reforms. Besides, we still don't have a full handle on the open door policy of unvetted immigration under Biden administration which is why I suggest at least a 10 year wait for processing.

No matter what the political backers of this latest amnesty try are claiming, both Democrats and wimpy Republicans, to illegal aliens it is just another amnesty that will allow them to stay in the USA and qualify for all sorts of public welfare benefits provided through taxes upon the American people. The history of previous such amnesties shows that they served as encouragement and an invitation for growing masses of aliens to enter the USA unlawfully. When Reagan was President he signed into law the 1986 amnesty that granted a legal immigration status to over three million illegal aliens, now with this new amnesty bill they believe it could legalize about ten to fifteen million illegal aliens. So you can see that amnesties simply cause more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, as aliens sneak into the country and hide out to await the next amnesty! During the buildup to the 1968 amnesty the leftist Democrats falsely claimed that they would support Federal immigration law enforcement, but after that amnesty was passed into law the leftist Democrats never did support immigration law enforcement. Of course the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats do not want any illegal aliens to be deported, or the Federal immigration laws to be effectively enforced, and in that respect want the Federal law enforcement agencies that enforce the immigration laws, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) and the US Border Patrol (CBP) to be abolished, and instead want all illegal aliens to qualify for a Democrat designed amnesty and to be transitioned through “a path to citizenship” to become a massive foreign born leftist Democrat constituency to keep the leftist Democrats in majority political power on into the future. As for the wimpy Republicans, the reason that a bunch of them are already touting that they will support this proposed amnesty as they love illegal alien cheap labor, and the resulting kickbacks from employers of illegal aliens into their campaign coffers.

Are the supporters of this massive amnesty really Republicans or just a bunch of RINOS, who along with the leftist Democrats love their employer supporters having cheap illegal alien labor that brings kickbacks into their and the leftist Democrats campaign coffers. History shows that each time in the past that Congress passed a big amnesty, no matter what they called it, the amnesty caused a huge increase in new illegal aliens unlawfully entering the USA to await the next such amnesty, along with handing the leftist Democrats with millions of new foreign voters. The only way to stop mass uncontrolled illegal immigration on into the future is by arresting and deporting all illegal aliens found in the USA. That’s just common sense!
