A federal judge on Friday ruled that the Pentagon’s new press policy restricting press credential of reporters is unconstitutional. In October, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new security rule. “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded that reporters agree by 5 p.m. Tuesday to a new policy, under which they would need to pledge to not obtain or use any unauthorized material, even if the information is unclassified — or hand over their press badges in the next 24 hours,”[snip]By that afternoon, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges.

The joint American-Israeli military operation against the Iranian regime is now three weeks old, but there is another war — a more silent one — raging here on the home front. President Donald Trump's second administration is facing a highly coordinated shadow war — one waged both by some influential outside voices on the Right and, more dangerously, by their subversive allies within Trump's very own government. If this campaign is not confronted and decisively defeated, the result will be calamitous: a second Trump term that drifts into lame-duck status not due to a voter backlash but because of an insurrection from within.

Iran launched an attack on the Diego Garcia, US-UK joint military base in the Indian Ocean, but did not hit it, as per a report from The Wall Street Journal. As per WSJ's Friday report, one of the missiles failed in flight when a US warship fired an SM-3 interceptor at the other, though it was not determined if the interceptor had succeeded. The report did not specify when Iran fired the missiles. However, it is the distance of the Diego Garcia base from Iran that has sparked discussions about the striking capabilities of Iranian missiles.

The mail may soon stop — and not because it’s lost in transit.
The cash-strapped United States Postal Service is barreling toward a financial cliff, with Postmaster General David Steiner warning lawmakers the agency could run dry by October — and potentially halt mail delivery altogether by 2027 if Congress doesn’t step in.
“At our current rate, we’ll be out of cash in less than 12 months,” Steiner told the House Oversight Subcommittee on Government Operations on March 17.
“So in about a year from now, the Postal Service would be unable to deliver the mail.”
Translation: no stamps, no service.
The grim forecast comes as the USPS continues its long-running losing streak.

Iran threatened Friday to start targeting tourist sites worldwide — just as spring break kicked off across the United States.
Iranian military spokesman Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi blasted out the chilling warning on state TV as he vowed that popular tourism havens would no longer be safe for Tehran’s enemies.
“From now on, based on the information we have about you, even parks, recreational areas, and tourist destinations anywhere in the world will no longer be safe for you,” the military official said.

On Friday, Gov. Kathy Hochul finally started tiptoeing toward reality on New York’s climate law.
In a lengthy opinion column, she laid out her proposal to postpone by a decade the state’s stringent greenhouse-gas emissions rules, set by law to hit in 2030 — pointing fingers at everything from COVID-19 to upstate NIMBYism to President Donald Trump to justify waving the white flag.
But Albany legislators should never have imposed these draconian CO₂ emissions targets to begin with.

Russian President Vladimir Putin this week reportedly offered to stop sharing targeting intelligence with Iran if the United States agreed to do the same in Ukraine.
Reports of Russian targeting support for Iranian operations against U.S. targets surfaced early in the war. The U.S. has long provided Ukraine with intelligence throughout the war.
Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev reportedly made the offer to Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who rejected the plan, according to Politico, which cited "two people familiar" with the negotiations.
The offer comes as Iran continues to target U.S. facilities and critical infrastructure in the Persian Gulf.

The Senate passed a bill to end lawmakers’ special privileges to bypass airport security lines late Thursday night while security personnel continue to manage hours-long lines while working without pay through a partial government shutdown.
The End Special Treatment for Congress at Airports Act was introduced by Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn and approved by unanimous consent because no senators were present on the floor to object to the legislation. The bill passed as the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) shutdown prepared to enter its 35th day — tied for the second-longest in American history — with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers struggling to manage a surge in spring break travelers.

On March 11, the California Attorney General, along with 16 additional Democrat states, filed a complaint in federal court against President Trump’s requirement that state universities collect and make public data on student admissions for race, GPA, and SAT scores. On Friday, March 13, federal Judge F. Dennis Saylor gave schools extra time to comply—by March 25 instead of March 18.
The Trump requirement is the administration’s effort to implement the Supreme Court’s 2023 Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) opinion, which found racial preferences in university admissions unlawful, including for diversity or “DEI” rationales.

Chief U.S. District Judge James Boasberg has ordered a temporary change to grand jury procedure in Washington, D.C., requiring notification when juries decline to issue indictments, a move that stands out for how rarely judges require formal reporting at this stage. Grand juries are designed to operate independently. They decide whether charges move forward, often behind closed doors and with limited visibility, even to the courts themselves. Judges oversee the process broadly, but they do not typically require formal reporting when a case ends without charges.
Boasberg’s order changes that dynamic.

Hanson makes the point that when Churchill was trying to warn the world about Germany, he was largely ignored by other leaders and suggests that a similar thing is happening with Trump and Iran.
He also points out that all of Trump’s recent predecessors have said that they wished they had dealt with the problem of Iran while they were in office. The difference is that Trump is actually doing it.

Also, racist Democrats argue that black and brown voters are too dense to acquire photo ID, even though tens of millions of them have drivers licenses and present photo ID daily—to rent cars, cash checks, and enter Democrat-run government buildings and campaign events.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that “Israel acted alone” and that President Donald Trump had asked Israel “to hold off on future attacks” after Israel attacked Iran’s South Pars Gas Field. During a press conference on Thursday, Netanyahu poked fun at online rumors that he was dead, stating that he was “alive.” Netanyahu also gave an update on Operation Roaring Lion, explaining that both Israel and the United States were “acting together in Iran with great determination.”

In politics, it is often the people who you think have your back who end up stabbing you there.
Nobody knows that better than Donald Trump, who has been stabbed in the back more times than Julius Caesar — yet has still survived.
This week, part of the noisy right-wing online podcast-sphere again turned on the president. Leading the virtual charge, again, was Trump’s one-time cheerleader, Tucker Carlson.
There was a time when Carlson was fully Team Trump.
Carlson often appeared at Trump rallies as part of the warmup act. But in the past year, he has tried to lead the MAGA base away from Trump and down a very dark path.

California has already sued the Trump administration at least 54 times a little more than a year into his second term. State Attorney General Rob Bonta claims the lawsuits are an effort to hold President Donald Trump accountable. But litigation goes both ways. The administration is now suing California over its zero-emission (in effect, electric) vehicle mandate.
The Justice Department says that California’s ZEV mandates and its stringent standards for CO2 emissions violate federal law, which expressly prohibits states from setting their own fuel economy standards for cars, adding that the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) mandates -

El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells has a rather stunning allegation to make against the state of California. Oh wait, maybe it’s not that stunning, considering Gavin Newsom’s Golden State is often at the heart of some of the most bat guano policies you’ll ever come across.
Wells says that officials actually hamper child welfare checks because they wouldn’t want to inadvertently come across an illegal alien and have to do something about it.
He wrote an op-ed for Fox News Thursday where he detailed the insanity:Wells had more to say in his op-ed, and it will make your blood boil. This is the definition of one-party progressive rule run amok:

As the Islamic Republic trembles under internal dissent and external pressure, a once-theoretical question is becoming urgent: What comes the day after? For decades, Western policymakers focused on how to constrain Iran.
Now, as Reza Pahlavi steps forward with a detailed post-regime vision, the conversation is shifting to what comes next and whether anyone is prepared for it. A recent Jerusalem Post report pointed to a striking reality. “Unlike many opposition figures, Pahlavi is not only calling for regime change but presenting a plan for what follows.” That distinction matters.
His proposed Iran Prosperity Project outlines a structured transition beginning the moment the Islamic Republic falls

Democrat Representative Veronica Escobar (TX-16) is coming under fire after Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons banned one of her senior caseworkers from all ICE facilities for allegedly posing as a licensed attorney at least 11 times to gain unauthorized access to detainees at a facility in El Paso, Texas.
The staffer, identified as Benito Torres, also stands accused of smuggling cell phones inside the detention center in clear violation of security protocols.
In a letter to the congresswoman, Lyons demanded answers on whether she knew about or authorized Torres' actions, if she condones such behavior, and what steps she will take to hold him accountable.
"The available evidence demonstrates your staffer,

Democracies depend not only on fair elections but on public confidence that elections are fair. Once people begin to doubt the integrity of the system, the legitimacy of the outcome begins to wobble. In the United States today, few issues have done more to shake that confidence than the debate over voter identification.
The strange thing about the debate is that identification is required for almost everything else.
Americans must show ID to board an airplane, obtain employment, open a bank account, collect Social Security benefits, purchase alcohol or tobacco, or obtain a driver’s license. Identity checks are simply part of everyday life.

I think a few years ago, one European diplomat said, “Well, he’s a bull in a China shop, only he’s a bull in a nuclear China shop.” Maybe, maybe not.
But let’s just review what’s taking place right now. For the second time, we’re bombing Iran, and this time the negotiations clearly were not going to lead to this 47-year problem resolution.
Iran’s theocracy has no intention of stopping nuclear proliferation. It wants a bomb to dominate the Middle East, to intimidate the petro kingdoms of the Gulf, to show its dominance over Sunni Islam, and to destroy eventually Israel, threaten Europe for blackmail concessions and eventually us.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, deactivated an old X account after a series of resurfaced posts showed her praising Palestinian terrorists, bashing Israel and criticizing the US military.
The Big Apple’s 28-year-old first lady — who has faced backlash over her social media history the past two weeks — took down the account a day after the Washington Free Beacon revealed a flurry of alarming posts she made on X and Tumblr in her teens and early 20s.
While her X account — under username @_RamaDee — was deleted as of Thursday, Duwaji’s public Instagram page, which has 2 million followers, remains active.

President of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves Robles announced on Wednesday that his country would cut all diplomatic ties to Cuba, shutting down its embassy in Havana and ordering all Cuban diplomats out of the country.
Chaves Robles, whose term is slated to end in May, explicitly stated that his opposition to socialism and communism – and an escalation in human rights abuses by the Cuban Communist Party at home – were the reason for his decision. We do not recognize the legitimacy of this government,” the president asserted on Wednesday. “We have to clean the hemisphere of communists. Simple as that.”

Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed as part of the Justice Department's "grand conspiracy" probe, two sources confirmed to Just The News Thursday.
The investigation is looking into claims that Democrats attempted to undermine President Donald Trump, treating the last decade of political weaponization of law enforcement and intelligence agencies as an ongoing criminal conspiracy.
The probe is being led by Jason A. Reding Quiñones, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon is overseeing the case, according to Axios.

Pakistan, included by US President Donald J. Trump in his "Board of Peace" for the Gaza Strip, nevertheless continues to be one of the most dangerous countries for Christians and other non-Muslims. International watchdog organizations continue to rank Pakistan among the most difficult countries for Christians.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth said Thursday that the unfolding U.S. operation against Iran remains “laser-focused” and decisive in achieving its objectives, pushing back on comparisons to past prolonged conflicts while outlining a campaign he said is systematically degrading Tehran’s military capabilities.
Speaking at a Pentagon briefing on day 20 of Operation Epic Fury, Hegseth opened by directly challenging portrayals that the operation risks becoming a drawn-out war akin to Iraq or Afghanistan, arguing the mission is tightly defined and purpose-driven.

A coalition of 40 Democratic states, cities and counties sued the Trump administration on Thursday, challenging the recent termination of a longstanding policy allowing the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate climate pollution.
The lawsuit, and others like it, will kick off a years-long court saga that could wind up at the Supreme Court and determine the fate of Trump’s plan to undo decades of climate policy.
First issued in 2009 during the Obama administration, the endangerment finding is considered the federal government’s most powerful tool to tackle climate pollution. The finding determined that six greenhouse gases could be categorized as dangerous to human health

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump said Thursday that he does not intend to put ground troops in Iran, undercutting an anonymous report claiming his administration is considering putting thousands of troops in the Middle East.
Trump dispelled the notion that he is considering adding troops to the Middle East during a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae in the Oval Office. “Do you intend to lift sanctions on Iranian oil, and do you intend to potentially put U.S. troops or more troops in the region?” a reporter asked.
“No, I’m not putting troops anywhere. If I were, I certainly wouldn’t tell you,

There is something extraordinary about how a young woman, born and raised in the United States, can become a voice for people she has never met in a country she has never seen, thousands of miles away. But for Iran’s Princess Noor Pahlavi, daughter of the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and granddaughter of the former shah, Mohammad Reza, that is the situation she finds herself in. As the Islamic Republic regime of Iran faces daily strikes and military pressure from the US and Israel, and with its leadership decimated, many are looking to the day the regime falls.
