The nerve of a judge to deport an illegal immigrant who held the lofty status of a staff member for the New York City Council has left New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in high dudgeon. Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorquez, a data analyst for the council, will be deported to Venezuela. The Department of Homeland Security said Rubio overstayed his 2017 tourist visa, has an arrest for assault, and does not possess work authorization, CBS News noted. Mamdani argued his version of reality should take precedence over the law. “Today, an administrative immigration judge ordered the deportation of Rafael Rubio, a City Council employee. This is an affront to justice,”

Typical Muzzie 'Rat. He can ignore the Law on a whim, and never suffer any consequences.... but his opponents will go to Prison for any infraction, no matter how small. I see a parallel to this and what is happening in England, where Pakistani gangs rape white English girls at will and are never punished, but if the girl's father speaks up about it, the father goes to Prison. It's the same downward road to Islamist Hades. England is just farther down that slope.

Shades of debbie wasserman shulz - remember folks, in 2018 it was reported she waived background checks on Imran Awan & all of his family? : "All 44 House Democrats, including former Democratic National Committee Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, reportedly waived background checks on IT worker Imran Awan and all of his family members according to The Daily Caller. The Pakistan-born IT aides allegedly gained “unauthorized access” to Congressional data while working for House Democrats last year. The House security policy requires mandatory background checks but a technical loophole may have allowed another member to vouch for them, according to investigative reporter Luke Rosiak. “It was as casual as that before you turn over the passwords that give these guys access to all the emails to members of Congress and every file on their hard drives and all their staffer’s hard drives,” Rosiak said to FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on “Mornings with Maria.” If they had run the background check, the would have found a host of major red flags, including multiple criminal convictions, a $1.1 million bankruptcy, fraud-related lawsuits and 12 cryptic limited liability companies tied to numerous family members. “As a result they gave these guys access to everything,” he said, “And the [House Inspector General] determined that they were funneling data to the House network.”" And there is this: https://www.voanews.com/a/top-democrat-it-aid-arrested-while-trying-to-leave-us-for-pakistan/3959857.html

When an illegal alien is in federal deportation proceedings it is a federal immigration judge who has legal authority and jurisdiction who makes the decision that an illegal alien is deportable and therefore should be deported in accordance with the federal immigration laws. The mayor of New York City has no authority or jurisdiction over the federal immigration laws. In this particular case it looks like New York City hired an illegal alien who did not have permission to work in the USA, which in itself is a violation of the federal immigration laws.

State Attorney General Rob Bonta claims the lawsuits are an effort to hold President Donald Trump accountable. But litigation goes both ways. The Justice Department says that California’s ZEV mandates and its stringent standards for CO2 emissions violate federal law, which expressly prohibits states from setting their own fuel economy standards for cars, adding that the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) mandates -

Since 2019, nearly two dozen states — most of them blue states — have vowed to transition their grids to run without generators powered by fossil fuels within the next 24 years. While Democrats have often been vocal supporters of these efforts, President Donald Trump’s energy policies have produced a direct challenge to net-zero plans. Outside the political sphere, independent assessments find the nation’s grid is becoming increasingly fragile, primarily a direct result of an overreliance on weather-dependent renewables. This has led to a rapid shift in the conversation on energy in America.

Qatar, a key source of natural gas for world markets, said firefighters had put out a blaze at a major LNG facility after it had been hit by Iranian missile attacks.
