Iran's Princess Noor Pahlavi to ‘Post’:
‘Iranians have chance to reclaim their
country’ - interview

There is something extraordinary about how a young woman, born and raised in the United States, can become a voice for people she has never met in a country she has never seen, thousands of miles away. But for Iran’s Princess Noor Pahlavi, daughter of the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and granddaughter of the former shah, Mohammad Reza, that is the situation she finds herself in. As the Islamic Republic regime of Iran faces daily strikes and military pressure from the US and Israel, and with its leadership decimated, many are looking to the day the regime falls.

Comments:

Pray fervently and without ceasing for victory to be won and good to prevail in every aspect of this Iranian conflict. To God be the glory.

What a breathtakingly beautiful and inspiring article! I learned so much from it. This young woman is speaking powerfully about the possible freedoms and future longed for by so many. She is the face and voice of a people aching for what suddenly feels within reach. Thanks so much to OP for sharing this. Please, all here, read this story.

This should have been a must read. I hope she is correct about the Iranians there being willing to fight. The ones I know are women who have fled to the US. They seem to feel helpless and think that America and Israel will do their fighting.

Once again, the thought comes to mind that Jimmy Carter had to be the stupidest, most gullible president ever in charge of foreign policy. I cannot begin to fathom what went on inside his mind that he thought the Ayatollas should be given power in Iran. Don't ever try to tell me that Democrats care about women and girls. I don't care how many Habitat for Humanity houses he got his picture taken at, it will never absolve his sins against human females.

I was wondering when the family of the deposed Shah would be heard from. As near as I can tell, the son of the Shah seems to be the one person who can unify the Iranians who want to take the country back from the Hydra.of the Mullahs. The Mullahs idea of Islamic submission is tyrannical suppression that is far worse than anything they experienced under the Shah.

It seems her father has been working with members of the Iranian diaspora to provide a plan from which the Iranian people can establish order out of the chaos and choose for themselves what is best for their country. There must be some sort of stable framework on which to build and grow. May God bless and guide them toward freedom and peace as a nation. May good prevail at last, and may they be able to live in freedom as individuals. I pray that the American public wakes up to what is happening here, before we find ourselves having to physically fight and die to try and regain the freedoms that are being taken for granted and taken away. We still have our Constitution. It is amazing that there is a battle in the US Congress over whether WTP should be “allowed” basic common sense assurances that our elections are honest, while the greater percentage of citizens is demanding it. There was a time when it was said THEY worked for US. Now a great number of them don’t even have enough respect for us to listen to us. They need a reminder. So do WTP.

Are Republicans trying to lose the midterms? 10 replies

Are congressional Republicans absolutely determined to forfeit this November’s midterm elections? It sure looks that way. The GOP would hardly be acting any differently if it were secretly run by its enemies. The election-security provisions of the SAVE Act enjoy overwhelming popular support. According to CBS/YouGov polling, requiring photo ID to vote is literally an 80-20 issue, commanding the support of four out of five voters. Yet the Republican Senate, with a 53-47 majority, is struggling to pass the law. Yes, the filibuster gives Chuck Schumer a powerful weapon to use against the GOP, but there are ways around that – ways the GOP chooses not to take.

The joint American-Israeli military operation against the Iranian regime is now three weeks old, but there is another war — a more silent one — raging here on the home front. President Donald Trump's second administration is facing a highly coordinated shadow war — one waged both by some influential outside voices on the Right and, more dangerously, by their subversive allies within Trump's very own government. If this campaign is not confronted and decisively defeated, the result will be calamitous: a second Trump term that drifts into lame-duck status not due to a voter backlash but because of an insurrection from within.

Some of America’s wealthiest couples are now collecting $100,000 a year in Social Security benefits, a six-figure payout that a new proposal says should be capped to help keep the retirement program solvent beyond 2032. About 1 million beneficiaries receive at least $50,000 annually — or more than $100,000 for a retired couple — representing less than 2% of the roughly 56 million people age 65 and older who get Social Security, according to an analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. The nonpartisan think tank projects that share will grow over time because of annual cost-of-living adjustments and as more Americans reach retirement age.

The Southern District of Florida (“SDFL”) federal grand jury has just issued criminal subpoenas to major players like former FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan. This action is no fishing expedition but rather the telltale sign that a massive RICO criminal enterprise is finally being cracked open, which I’ve suggested earlier would happen given the Clinton crime family and Seth Rich’s unsolved murder. Two thousand years ago, Jesus walked into the Temple and saw money changers and merchants turning a house of worship into a profit racket. He flipped tables, scattered coins, and exposed the corruption. The Pharisees and Sadducees panicked and plotted his death.

After two months of unyielding negotiations, both parties gave up early Friday on reaching a grand accord to reform and fund the Department of Homeland Security. The Senate approved the funding package by a voice vote and is now expected to begin a scheduled two-week recess. The House could vote as soon as Friday, before the shutdown would break the record Saturday night for the longest funding lapse of any federal agency in U.S. history.
