Iran launched an attack on the Diego Garcia, US-UK joint military base in the Indian Ocean, but did not hit it, as per a report from The Wall Street Journal. As per WSJ's Friday report, one of the missiles failed in flight when a US warship fired an SM-3 interceptor at the other, though it was not determined if the interceptor had succeeded. The report did not specify when Iran fired the missiles. However, it is the distance of the Diego Garcia base from Iran that has sparked discussions about the striking capabilities of Iranian missiles. “4,118 km from Iran to Diego Garcia. Far beyond any previously known Iranian ballistic missile

I did a Google Earth "distance" line plot and 4200 km will get you from NE Iran to essentially all of Europe, including UK. Only far western Spain and Portugal are beyond that range. All of Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Denmark....in reach. And once they had their nuke to put on top of it..... The Euroweenies ought to be swallowing hard at this news.

One of those launched into Israel or Europe would cause a lot of problems. Iran wouldn't even need a functional nuclear warhead, just fill it with radioactive material and make a dirty bomb.

The EU and the leftist propaganda don't realize or won't admit that bombing Iran back from their lust for nukes and world dominance may have saved the planet from unimaginable worldwide horror. He won't get credit for what he is doing but I don't think DJT gives a damn. He knows what has to be done and that he has limited time to do it.

Iran seems to be striking out at random targets, some of which are associated with USA forces, others that are not. This confirms the theory that their military command and control is now in the hands of regional military leaders and they can do pretty much what they want. Additionally, their missile stockpiles must be dwindling at this point. The Iranian leaders are finished and may be attempting to take a number of the "infidels" with them.

Persians can be quite cunning adversaries. They can also be very capable minds as engineers and scientists. Were Iran to throw off the "shackles" of Islam, placed upon them as a vestige of the ancient Arabian Empire, then who knows how far they could go?

Remember the leftist Democrats have been harping all along that Iran was not a threat to the USA. Now after Iran tried to attack the combined UK/USA strategic base located in the middle of the Indian Ocean with long range ballistic missiles it turned out that Iran could have easily been a threat to both Europe and the USA. All the Iranians would have to do is mount the longest range missiles with large warheads that they obviously had on nondescript supposed commercial ships, flying false flags, and sail those ships loaded with those missiles to positions off the East Coast of the USA, and fire those missIles from out in international waters at targets like New York City and Washington, D.C. after a bunch of such Iranian missiles and warheads landed and exploded in US cities, what would the leftist Democrats say then, besides blaming Trump?

Alternate headline: Iran Lied. Again. That may not qualify as breaking news, since the Iranian regime has lied about practically all of its threats to the region and beyond. The theocratic-military junta has lied for 47 years about its sponsorship of terrorism, and they lied over and over again about their pursuit of nuclear weapons. Those lies got exposed over and over again, and yet leaders in Europe and the US kept insisting that the regime could become a trustworthy partner in non-proliferation talks. Iran just exposed another lie, one that should rattle Europe. The IRGC launched a missile attack

The most important contemporary phenomenon for our politics and, perhaps, for the future of our country is the ongoing sorting of our citizens into red and blue states. The dynamic is pretty simple: people are leaving blue states for red states, with the single exception of those whose first priority is lavish welfare benefits, who therefore seek out blue states. This might seem like a terrible deal for the blue states, and of course it is, in the long term. But meanwhile, things are not all bad for Democratic politicians. They are getting rid of a lot of pesky businessmen and others who tend to vote against them,

Politico published a new poll this morning, taken this week, even while Iran forced a strangulation of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The poll shows sharp support for the war among Republicans, and even more robust support among self-identified MAGA voters, as previous surveys from NBC News and CNN

A coalition of 40 Democratic states, cities and counties sued the Trump administration on Thursday, challenging the recent termination of a longstanding policy allowing the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate climate pollution. The lawsuit, and others like it, will kick off a years-long court saga that could wind up at the Supreme Court and determine the fate of Trump’s plan to undo decades of climate policy. First issued in 2009 during the Obama administration, the endangerment finding is considered the federal government’s most powerful tool to tackle climate pollution.
