A truckdriver holding a Minnesota commercial driver's license drove the wrong way for miles on a Missouri highway, unable to read basic road signs and nearly causing a head-on collision, according to federal officials who have launched an investigation into the incident and the driver's employer. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy highlighted the case Wednesday on X, sharing a video that shows a white semi-truck speeding southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 61 near Troy, MO. The footage (snip) depicts oncoming vehicles switching lanes to avoid the 80-ton rig before law enforcement intervened.

Comments:

This is the most complete account of the incident that I have seen.

Since this past summer when the first (known) road-murder occurred, we've seen, maybe, 4 or 5 more. A California judge just prohibited the Dept of Trans from recalling 20,000 CDLs that may have been issued improperly in the state.. One state!

The state employees that are issuing the licenses should be charged. The state should have to pay the victims' families that died.

Chances are those incidents involving foreign origin illegal alien truck drivers have been occurring across the USA for many years and have been ignored by the mostly leftist Democrat aligned media. If you look into those accidents further chances are you will find a big number of such incidents (accidents) perpetrated by just regular illegal aliens who cannot understand the English language and who have been issued regular drivers licenses or are driving with no license at all. Clearly the Leftist Democrats ignore all the above, as they figure that illegal aliens ensconced in sanctuary cities thus jacking up the census taken population figures in those Democrat politically controlled places will give them more representation in the Congress through congressional redistricting procedures, and directly through elections by receiving the fraudulent illegal alien vote in regular elections.

I have nothing but disgust for the HairSniffer, for Tampon Timmy and for all the other 'Rats who encourage this whole scenario..... letting the Illegals in, letting them stay here, getting them fraudulent driver's licenses, voter ID, the whole works. That said, I note in the video that the truck's emergency flashers are on, and the guy crossed over to the correct side of the road at the first cross-over. I am guessing that he made a mistake, got on the wrong side -maybe thinking it was a regular 2-lane highway, not realizing it was a divided highway- then once he realized it, did the best he could to correct his mistake.

He most likely can speak perfect English. I worked for a health unit giving out WIC vouchers many years ago. I'd get foreigners who couldn't understand what I was saying, didn't speak English. When I would tell them I couldn't help them unless they gave me that income, suddenly they turned the English on just fine.

The federal income tax is abusive. It is inconsistent with liberty. It has, as Chief Justice John Marshall noted, the power to destroy. There is nothing positive to be said about it. It cannot even raise government revenues efficiently. As we said a year ago, of all the good Donald Trump could do in his second term, eliminating the federal income tax would be one of his greatest achievements. It’s clearly one of his goals. “As time goes by, I believe the tariffs paid for by foreign countries will, like in the past, substantially replace the modern-day system of income tax,” Trump said during his State of the Union address.

When you’ve constructed a cartoon version of the world in your mind, what do you do when reality proves it wrong? If you’re the leftist establishment, you certainly don’t rethink your assumptions. Late Friday, New York Times columnist David French snarkily referred to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth as a “walking MAGA caricature” on X. Four hours later, Hegseth’s troops were pounding Iran in an intricate series of strikes that left its evil regime reeling. The response to French — who has not withdrawn his sneer — was unsympathetic. My favorite: “Let’s have a contest … you and Pete show up at Fort Bragg, see who the troops respect more.”
