State Department Official Identified As
Suspect In Deadly Alleged Road Rage Incident

The U.S. State Department confirmed to the Daily Caller that the deceased suspect in a mass stabbing outside Washington, D.C., on Sunday was employed by the Department. A State Department spokesperson told the Daily Caller that the 32-year old suspect, Jared Llamado of McLean, Virginia was working for the Department at the time of the alleged stabbing and his death. A Virginia State Police trooper responded Sunday afternoon to reports of road rage on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County, where he was allegedly confronted by Llamado, who was wielding a knife after having stabbed four victims. (snip) The trooper shot Llamado "in self-defense" (snip)

Comments:

Not your usual "dog bites man" story. Llamado was hired as a Foreign Service Officer specializing in information technology in September, 2024. One car struck another from behind at high speed on the Capitol Beltway. After the drivers had pulled over Llamado, rather than exchanging information, attacked the occupants of the other vehicle and some good samaritans who attempted to provide assistance before confronting the state trooper.

The only times I've found when the 495 Beltway around D.C. isn't much like a demolition derby is very early in the morning say 2 or 3 am, and around 11am just before lunch time. The rest of the time it's either stop and go traffic bumper to bumper, or practice for a NASCAR race.

Texas state Rep. James Talarico secured a victory over Rep. A University of Texas at Tyler poll conducted Feb. 13–22 surveyed 1,117 registered voters and 959 likely voters and found Crockett with 55 percent support compared to Talarico’s 37 percent, outside the poll’s 3.2-point margin of error

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem testified that the Biden administration funneled cash to sponsors who trafficked and abused unaccompanied migrant children. Federal dollars poured through the Department of Health and Human Services right into the pockets of adults escaping screening, meaning many of those people ended up as outright predators. The Office of Refugee Resettlement dumped kids into homes without solid background checks, skipped consistent DNA testing, and ignored follow-ups that could've kept them safe. Nearly 450,000 kids cycled through the system, many of whom disappeared after sloppy placements. If Noem slams down documented proof linking this mess straight to federal blunders,
