The U.S. State Department confirmed to the Daily Caller that the deceased suspect in a mass stabbing outside Washington, D.C., on Sunday was employed by the Department. A State Department spokesperson told the Daily Caller that the 32-year old suspect, Jared Llamado of McLean, Virginia was working for the Department at the time of the alleged stabbing and his death. A Virginia State Police trooper responded Sunday afternoon to reports of road rage on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County, where he was allegedly confronted by Llamado, who was wielding a knife after having stabbed four victims. One car struck another from behind at high speed on the Capitol Beltway. After the drivers had pulled over Llamado, rather than exchanging information, attacked the occupants of the other vehicle and some good samaritans who attempted to provide assistance before confronting the state trooper.
