Iranians’ joy vs. Democrats’ shame

The outpouring of joy on the streets of LA is impossible to ignore. Thousands of Iranian-Americans lined Wilshire Boulevard on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes that, they hope, will bring down the Iranian regime. On Westwood Boulevard, in the heart of “Tehrangeles,” there were raucous cheers inside Persian restaurants. Flags hung everywhere — the sterile tulip of the Islamic Republic replaced by the lion-and-sun of the previous era. The Iranian people, at home and abroad, believe that freedom is at hand, and that President Donald Trump is bringing the redemption for which they have waited for decades.

The leadership of California must go. And for many of the same reasons. It is a tyrannical, wrongheaded regime, immovably committed to denying freedom and self-governance to those trapped within its borders.

"REASONABLE people can disagree about this war." That completely leaves out the dems. They HATE Trump and everything he does. They are irrational. They are also incompetent and foolish. Their exhibited speech and behavior, for years now, is a repudiation of their ability to intelligently comment or act, on just about everything. They have become a party of worthlessness.

I have an Iranian friend who told me that there are spies here that watch them and report back to the regime. They think it is ok to go to a church for ESL or a one time program, but they worry that regular church attendance might put their family in Iran at risk. She said they suspect a spy when an Iranian has more money than their job here should produce. I commented about how fortunate they were to "win the lottery" to come her. I thought it odd that educated people with skills that Iran could use, would be allowed to leave. She said it is not random. They want those who might rise up against the government to leave Iran.

I disagree with the notion that "Reasonable people can disagree with this war". This war has been going on since 1979. The fact that the US has not prosecuted the war to the fullest doesnt mean there was no war. We did not start this war but it sure looks like we are finishing it. I was interested in the response by the two countries that vowed support in the event of US aggression, Communist China and Russia. Are they silent because they realize their systems dont work against ours?

Then refused to dialogue about my legal immigrants in my family tree and the ilk allowed in over the Bidet regime.. I then quipped, if Trump told you breathing was good you would stop breathing, without hesitating she responded, I probably would. 2nd an older sibling called to discuss how terrifying this time was to start a war. They asked what I thought. I told them look at a source like ground news and see the worlds reactions. You have Canada and France who seriously have TDS in 100% approval and pledging support, what does that tell you? Huh, was the response and now he’s sourcing from ground news. Hoorah, one at a time my friends, keep those dialogues open.

From the political actions we have seen from the the leftist Democrats since Trump was elected to the Presidency, it is pretty clear that if Trump somehow was involved in the curing of cancer that the leftist Democrats would complain and voice their opposition.

President Trump cast Tucker Carlson out of his Make America Great Again movement following the conservative talking head’s loud criticism of the US and Israeli assault on Iran. “Tucker has lost his way,” the commander-in-chief told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on Thursday. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.” The comments came after Carlson recently called the strikes on Iran “absolutely disgusting and evil.” Tucker Carlson smiles while Donald Trump,

Fox News mainstay Sean Hannity has finally broken his silence on the dramatic transformation of his former colleague, Tucker Carlson. During a candid sit-down on the Katie Miller Podcast, Hannity didn’t hold back, painting a picture of a relationship that has gone completely cold since Carlson’s departure from the network. Podcast host Katie Miller asked Hannity a straightforward question. Katie Miller: “How’s your relationship with Tucker Carlson now?” Hannity’s answer was strikingly direct. Sean Hannity: “I don’t ever talk to him, ever. I wish him well. I’ve read a lot of what he says. I just completely disagree with it. And it’s not the person that I knew when he was at Fox.”

The Muslim Brotherhood is no less dangerous than the Iranian regime. While banned as a terrorist organization in some Arab countries, it maintains a presence in the Middle East and operates through networks and affiliates in Western countries through various organizations, think tanks and charities that promote its Islamist ideology. The Muslim Brotherhood cannot be eliminated through military action. Fighting this movement involves a multifaceted, long-term approach combining legal designations, financial restrictions, and ideological counter-messaging. Key strategies include designating affiliates as terrorist organizations, dismantling financial networks, and limiting their influence in education and religious institutions. The Muslim Brotherhood and Iran's regime share a deadly hatred of the West,

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to grant Bill Gates-backed Terrapower a construction permit for a nuclear reactor in Wyoming. “This is a historic step forward for advanced nuclear energy in the United States and reflects our commitment to delivering timely, predictable decisions grounded in a rigorous and independent safety review,” NRC Chairman Ho Nieh said in a statement. The approval is the first commercial reactor the NRC has approved for construction in nearly a decade. The Terrapower reactor uses a non-light water reactor design, and the approval is the first of that kind in 40 years.

A state judge just nixed a Columbia board’s discipline of the “pro-Palestine” students who occupied and trashed Hamilton Hall two years ago, completing the university’s elaborate dance with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to ensure the goons would suffer no consequences for their noxious actions. Bragg’s office dropped charges against the students back in June 2024, citing its “understanding that the students would be subject to Columbia’s internal disciplinary proceedings.” The school then took a year to actually deliver on that “understanding,” albeit with little more than wrist-slaps — whereupon the snowflakes sued to reverse this “oppression.”

The Trump Administration has listed dozens of examples of Iranian terrorism aimed at American citizens and soldiers over the past nearly five decades, but a significant omission was the Iranian regime's years of collusion with the Taliban to kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The White House on Monday released a lengthy fact sheet titled “The Iranian Regime’s Decades of Terrorism Against American Citizens.” The Trump administration document laid out Iran’s lengthy history of targeting and attacking U.S. troops, diplomats, and citizens — including Iran’s role in the deaths of more than 600 U.S. service members during the war in Iraq —

The Trump administration has been waging war on drug cartels, and the president has pressured countries he deems responsible for illegal substances crossing the border to co-operate. The US has joined forces in Ecuador in operations against "narcoterrorists" responsible for alleged illegal drug trafficking. The military's southern command, which operates in Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, made the announcement with little fanfare on social media. Commander Francis Donovan said: "We commend the men and women of the Ecuadorian armed forces for their unwavering commitment to this fight, demonstrating courage and resolve through continued actions against narcoterrorists in their country." Ecuador's defence ministry refused to share details of the operations.

Let’s take as a starting point that the current operation against Iran is probably driven as much by China as it is by regional security concerns. Iran has a “25-Year Cooperation Program” with China,

But the line lingers in the Texas air for a different reason. Something pretty big just went down behind the scenes in the federal government, and it could end up changing the entire illegal immigration game. And no, they’re not politely coordinating with the IRS. They basically just told them to “take a seat.” DHS is reportedly bypassing the IRS and using its own investigative team to dig into the relationship between employers and illegal workers. The 57 percent includes 54 percent of political independents and 79 percent of Republicans, but just 35 percent of Democrats, said the February 26-28 poll of 1,999 registered voters by The Harris Poll and HarrisX. The majority support for mass deportations is notable because it remains strong amid massive resistance by pro-migration politicians, the Democrat establishment, the establishment media, and various pop-culture influencers. The poll also showed 63 percent support for a draft law that would bar the award of commercial driver’s licenses to illegal migrants. Just 40 percent of Democrats favor the curbs.

The beleaguered Iranian regime, with very few international allies, has been counting on Moscow's support amid the ongoing US-Israeli strikes, but so far it has been left deeply disappointed. Just hours after Israeli and US bombs started hitting Tehran on Saturday, Russia came out with a blunt statement, with the country's permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, calling it an "unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent UN member state." Moscow is one of Tehran's few but staunchest allies, and a possible collapse of the Iranian regime could be a blow for its geopolitical and economic interests. At an event promoting his new book, the California governor said Israel’s critics are “appropriately” calling it an “apartheid” state — i.e., a knockoff of South Africa’s old segregationist regime. This is a lie — one so egregious that many deem it a form of antisemitism. Apartheid South Africa denied blacks the vote and forced them to endure separate hospitals, separate schools, and even separate bathrooms.
