New Delhi: Iran’s Shahed-136 drone struck the Saudi Aramco oil refining facility at Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia’s key energy hub, early Monday, according to several social media posts online. The attack prompted the temporary shutdown of the Ras Tanura refinery, as per a Bloomberg report. The strike triggered a fire at the site, however as per reports blaze was “small and controlled.” There have been no reports of casualties so far. The drone strike on Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura refinery comes amid rising Middle East tensions, with recent Iranian missile and drone attacks on Gulf states and Israel following international military airstrikes.

Unverified social media reports also indicated that a fighter jet was downed in Kuwaiti airspace.

Washington — President Trump said Sunday that he is willing to speak with the new leadership in Iran following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country's longtime leader, who was killed in Israeli airstrikes on Saturday.
"They want to talk, and I have agreed to talk, so I will be talking to them. They should have done it sooner. They should have given what was very practical and easy to do sooner. They waited too long," Mr. Trump told The Atlantic in a phone call on Sunday morning. A senior White House official said later in the day that the president will speak with the Iranians "eventually,"

Three US service members have been killed in action as part of US military operations against Iran, the US Central Command said in a statement on Sunday. These are the first confirmed deaths since the US began launching strikes against Iran on Saturday.
Five additional personnel have been reported seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury, the US military said. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the three soldiers who were killed. While announcing the military action targeting Iran, Donald Trump cautioned that “the lives of American heroes may be lost, and we may have casualties. That often happens in war”.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A major attack launched by Israel and the United States killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Donald Trump announced Saturday, confirming an assassination that he said gave Iranians their “greatest chance” to “take back the country” but that also put the future of the Islamic Republic in doubt and raised the risk of regional instability. The strikes opened a stunning new chapter in U.S. intervention in Iran, marking the second time in eight months that the Trump administration had attacked the country during talks over its nuclear program. The artificial intelligence startup OpenAI announced Friday night that it has reached an agreement to deploy its technology at the Pentagon — while imposing the same kinds of ethical guardrails that have triggered the Trump administration to sever ties with the company’s archrival Anthropic.
“Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network,” OpenAI CEO Sam Altman wrote on X, adding that the Defense Department “displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome.”
Two of the most crucial safety principles for OpenAI are “prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use

Someone's lying. And in this case, I'd bet it's not the lawyer.
Yesterday, Reuters reported that hidden files within the FBI revealed communications surveillance on now-FBI Director Kash Patel and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles in 2022-23. The "toll records" surveillance supposedly came as part of the Department of Justice probes into Donald Trump's alleged mishandling of classified material at Mar-a-Lago and the January 6 riot. Neither Patel nor Wiles played a role in either, however, although both had begun working for Trump's nascent presidential campaign during that same period.
This alone raises significant questions about the nature of Merrick Garland's DoJ and Jack Smith's actions

President Donald Trump suggested on Friday a possible “friendly takeover” of Cuba, adding that the country is in a “big deal of trouble” economically.
“They have no money. They have no anything right now,” Trump told reporters outside the White House. “Maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba.” Trump’s remarks hinted at a softening of the U.S. approach to Cuba.
Instead of harsh forecasts about regime change, top Trump aides have lately emphasized first having economic reforms in Cuba. This comes as Secretary of State Marco Rubio has engaged in conversations with Cuban representatives about the future of the island country.

The Loudoun County School Board has reached a settlement with two male students who were suspended after they expressed discomfort with the presence of a girl in their locker room.
In March, a female student at Stone Bridge High School recorded a group of boys in the men’s locker room asking why a girl was allowed to use the boys’ locker room. The female student identifies as a boy. Although recording in locker rooms is against district policy, the district opened a Title IX investigation into the three boys and accused them of sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination.

The bombshell news that the Federal Bureau of Investigation spied on FBI Director Kash Patel and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles in 2022-23 while they were private citizens is still fresh in our minds, but now Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is alleging that she’s discovered a more current Deep State plot to monitor her communications.
She said Tesla/SpaceX CEO/X owner/zillionaire Elon Musk helped her discover that there are moles in the building:
