The Supreme Court on Dec. 8 vacated a ruling upholding New York’s ban on religious exemptions to its school vaccine mandate and ordered a lower court to review its stance on the ban. The case is known as Miller v. McDonald.
Justices vacated the March decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which had found the legislation banning religious exemptions to vaccination requirements was “neutral on its face” and did not “target or affirmatively prohibit religious practices.”

Highlighting exactly why Barack Obama, Joe Biden and James Clyburn needed to deploy a 2021 Machiavellian strategy to get her moved onto the Supreme Court, Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson (KBJ) argues for the supreme power of the DC bureaucracy that must not be challenged by the President of the United States (Executive Branch).
In the case of Trump v Slaughter, the removal of the FTC Chair, Justice KBJ argues that presidential authority must be kept in check by the unelected “professionals and experts” who make up the bureaucracy underneath him. The “No Kings” argument is entirely ridiculous given the plenary power of the executive and the constitutional authority of the

Tensions between China and Japan escalated again over the weekend after two Chinese J-15 fighter jets allegedly aimed their radars at Japanese F-15 fighter jets near Okinawa, prompting Tokyo to lodge a formal protest against Beijing, with Canberra supporting Japan.
Japan’s Ministry of Defense said the episodes occurred on Saturday in international airspace southeast of Okinawa. The ministry said no Japanese aircraft were damaged and that the Chinese jets did not enter Japan’s territorial airspace.
Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi said on Sunday the radar illumination was a “dangerous act that exceeded the scope necessary for the safe flight of the aircraft.” Speaking alongside Australian Deputy Defense

President Trump is expected on Monday to announce a $12 billion aid package for American farmers, moving to support a sector that's been hurt by tariffs and a U.S. trade war with China.
A senior administration official told CBS News that Mr. Trump will unveil the plan during a White House event, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins expected to join Mr. Trump and several farmers at the announcement.
Roughly $11 billion of the government assistance is set aside for the Department of Agriculture's Farmer Bridge Assistance program, which the White House has said will offer one-time payments to farmers for row crops.

Following three days of negotiations in Florida (Thur, Fri, Sat) between President Trump emissaries Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and Ukraine emissaries Rustem Umierov and Andrii Hnatov, the group then held a 2-hour phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
No substantial progress was reported. However, military officials Umierov and Hnatov then flew to meet Zelenskyy in London where French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz are assembled to discuss alternatives to ending the conflict.

At the ripe old age of 103, Ken Hartle had lost count of how many times he’d cheated death. Hartle was fond of retelling many of these tales; he could recount surviving rattlesnake bites and scorpion stings, sailing accidents, car crashes, multiple broken bones, colon and prostate cancer, and sextuple cardiac bypass surgery.
There was, however, one memory he avoided sharing—his harrowing diving missions to retrieve the bodies of the fallen sailors at Pearl Harbor.

Via White House – “On December 7, 1941, a peaceful Sunday morning on the Hawaiian island of Oahu was shattered by an unprovoked attack by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan on the United States Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor and the aircraft and hangars at Kaneohe, Ford Island, Barbers Point, and Hickam Field. The surprise offensive claimed the lives of 2,403 American service members and civilians and propelled our Nation into the Second World War.
The Japanese mission was designed to cripple our military assets and obliterate the American spirit, but instead, the fatal attacks rallied our shattered citizenry and fueled our resolve. Young men

For years, Americans were spoon-fed a very specific Netflix-style fictional story about January 6. The villains were already cast. White Trump supporters! The conclusion was already written. Insurrection! And anyone who noticed parts of the story didn’t add up was called a terrorist and a traitor and totally dismissed. (snip)Back in March 2021, Revolver took a hard look at that detail. The pipe bomber was allegedly some disgruntled MAGA extremist, yet he was rocking rare Nike Air Max Speed Turfs that cost hundreds of dollars and are deeply tied to sneaker culture, basketball culture, and urban street culture.

Another day, another Democrat corruption scandal.
Paul Campo, a longtime Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) employee appointed as deputy chief of the Office of Financial Operations under the Obama administration, was indicted on charges of agreeing to launder $12 million for a terrorist cartel, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG).This cartel is among those that the Trump administration designated as a foreign terrorist organization, which makes Campo’s money laundering on its behalf even more egregious.
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton detailed the charges in a Dec. 5 press release. “As alleged, Paul Campo and Robert Sensi conspired to assist

Brian Cole, Jr. worked for a bail bonds company run by his father that worked to free illegal immigrants from ICE facilities and sued the Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security.Weeks before 30-year-old Cole Jr. allegedly planted pipe bombs at the headquarters of the Democrat and Republican parties on January 5, 2021, a court ruled against the company in its lawsuit attacking the Trump administration on immigration issues, The Daily Wire has learned.
