A judge in Minnesota is facing heat after she overturned a guilty verdict for an individual convicted in a $7.2 million fraud scheme that involved taxpayer money. Abdifatah Yusuf and his wife Lul Ahmed were charged in June 2024 after they were accused of stealing $7.2 million from the state's Medicaid program while running a home healthcare business that lacked an office building and operated for "years out of a mailbox," according to the Minnesota Attorney General's Office.

The judge is "facing heat" when she should be facing dismissal and jail time. Democrats are always facing "heat", and getting "exposed", and being "criticized". But they get away with it and nothing much happens to them except that they retire rich.

The judge added she was, however, "troubled by the manner in which fraud was able to be perpetuated at Promise Health." If the judge was troubled by the ease in which the Medicaid fraud was perpetuated, why did she overturn the conviction? She makes no sense overturning the convviction when she herself said that there was fraud. Apparently going to law school and becoming a judge does not make a person have common sense or mean that they are smart.

Something really smells here with the Governor, AG and the judge. Those responsible for oversight of the Medicaid program need to see some serious jail time. Over 400 employees saying Tim Walz looked the other way when he was notified about this fraud. Let's hope Tim's political career is over.

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley's son Nalin Haley on Monday accused Republicans of failing to acknowledge disillusioned Gen Z voters' struggles with unemployment and affordability. "The first step our leaders need to do is admit that we have a problem. And right now I haven't heard any Republican leaders talk about the issues that young people are facing," Haley told "Fox & Friends." "Congress has been nothing more than a glorified nursing home. They either don't know the problems that we're facing or they're ignoring them. And to be honest, I don't know which one's worse."

Fuzzy Zoeller, a two-time major champion and one of golf's most gregarious characters whose career was tainted by a racially insensitive joke about Tiger Woods, has died, according to a longtime colleague. He was 74. A cause of death was not immediately available. Brian Naugle, the tournament director of the Insperity Invitational in Houston, said Zoeller's daughter called him Thursday with the news. Zoeller was the last player to win the Masters on his first attempt, a three-man playoff in 1979. He famously waved a white towel at Winged Foot in 1984 when he thought Greg Norman had beat him, only to defeat Norman in an 18-hole playoff the next day.

For years, Republicans have pledged to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a suitable alternative. Now there is an idea on the table that can complete that promise. The idea will use market forces to bring down the cost of healthcare for all. Obamacare is a problem. The law has imposed billions in costs on taxpayers through increased premiums. There is a way to bring premiums down without flooding the market with more taxpayer dollars. Without true healthcare reform legislation, taxpayer-subsidized spending to health insurance companies will get exponentially higher.
