The Trump administration made a point of acknowledging the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas, and the New York Times wasn’t having it. In an article entitled, “Trump Administration Emphasizes Religion in Official Christmas Messages,” the Times wanted its readers to know that once again the Trump administration is the worst, this time because people in government did not avoid “overtly religious language, as the Constitution prohibits the establishment of an official state religion.”
The Times, which consistently takes a “freedom FROM religion” approach except when that religion is the LGBTQ dogma or Islam, had to work to ignore the part in the Declaration of Independence that says

“We are a Christian people, and the morality of the country is deeply engrafted upon Christianity.” Chief Justice James Kent — 1811.
It was certainly acceptable right at the beginning of the country, NY Slimes!

Perhaps ALL American Patriots should entirely ignore the NYT, except for cage flooring! If there is NEVER any mention of the times no matter how evil it gets, maybe it'll go away!

Christ's name is right there in the name of the holiday. It's not like they are pushing Kwaanza.

Its called "Christmas". It is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. As usual, the MSM has a problem with the truth. Obama recognized the Islamic holy days and has ushered in the age of Islamic expansion everywhere. The NYT doesn't seem to have a problem with that. They may or may not realize it but they are servants of Satan, just like the rest of the MSM.

Number 3 is onto something. No newspapers are sold because we no longer have birds as pets. Besides, Obama announced we were no longer a Christian nation. Of course we all know that was about him and nobody else. Those were back when his ego ruled. That was ALL he had. I remember Mooch.

John Q. Adams, who many believe wrote a majority of the US Constitution, had this to say:
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
And by "religious", he meant "Christian."

Why is the left so terrified of a man who lived 2000 years ago, whose teachings of love and forgiveness were the first of any “religion” of the time, or previous? Teachings from a man who lived a perfect life, according to the Law of Moses, and yet, was put to death on a Roman cross after being condemned by the Jewish religious leaders, who turned Him over to Roman authority for the most heinous of executions for a Jew. This after His life and ministry, when numerous Prophecies had been fulfilled, at a time when no Jewish Prophets had been heard, let alone miracles seen in Israel over the past 400 years. That is, until this Man of humble birth with lineage on His mother’s side, as well as His stepfather’s, back to King David and Bathsheba, shows up to offer Himself, a spiritual sacrifice, for every human being who had ever lived, or would ever live. Yet, all He requires is that we each, in the privacy of our own soul, simply “Believe” in Him for our everlasting salvation. A non-meritorious act of “Faith” in His saving work on your behalf is the “entry fee” into Union with Christ forever. That’s it. No works, no giving, no sacrificing, which are never involved in our salvation from sin. Jesus Christ did it all for us, and we can add nothing to it! So what can any rational human being have against this Man and His work on our behalf? Jesus even prayed for people such as this, while He was suffering on the cross, when he beseeched God the Father, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Those who sought to destroy the God-Man would ensure His message spread for two millennia and counting, spreading even faster among the most oppressed peoples.
Praise be unto God the Father for the miraculous birth of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ!

Christmas is a Christian holiday. It is not the fault of Christians that non-believers and people of other religions usurped it and turned it into a retail event. It is not their holiday. Trump and many of his Cabinet members are Christians and there is no reason why they should have to pretend they’re not to appease the media. There is no such thing as ‘separation of church and state’. Liberals gleefully cling to that phrase even though it appears nowhere in the Constitution and is actually a misquote of something Thomas Jefferson once wrote in a letter. The US, constitutionally, does not have a government religion. But all religions celebrate various events as holidays and we are all free to do so.

According to Gallup, 69 percent of Americans identify as Christian, including 80 percent of Republicans but only 40 percent of Democrats. That pretty much explains everything.
