The heart of the argument really is the “trillions at stake” aspect we have discussed on these pages for the past ten years. If the institutions of our government factually want to dispatch President Trump and diminish the American middle-class, the Supreme Court will support the multinational corporations and Wall Street in decision to remove presidential tariff authority. Do the Democrats really want the Supreme Court to say that it is ok for other countries to put high tariffs on US made goods but the US can't put tariffs on their products? Congress will not address this issue so Trump did. His tariffs worked to get foreign tariffs lowered and foreign markets open. Apparently Democrats don't want the economy to grow. They are afraid of Trump's policies being successful so they need to try to stop him in court. They have no ideas (besides raising taxes).

It is a surprise that Democrats have developed a sudden interest in tariffs, since, in the past they relinquished responsibility for them to the president since they didn’t want to be bothered by them. They were happy for President Trump to take responsibility for them when they thought it would be his undoing. But,due to his success they now what to get involved. Alas, it is TDS rearing its ugly head as they see another opportunity to sabotage him. It would be so nice if the Democrats put the good of the country ahead of sabotaging President Trump.

Overturning the progress President Trump has achieved thru tariffs would hand a massive victory to the Chinese Communist Party and de facto adversaries like Canada. This result would not bother leftist Democrats in the least.

we should throw astoundingly hecknfeckless congress into the river and start over. corruption-free. indeed, is there any proper reason why scotus should have anything to say about tariffs to the Executive? pdt is the only functional human in dc-the only one getting it done.

The Schumer Shutdown has lasted over a month now, and Democrats have spent every day proving they’re not serious about fixing it. They’ve mastered the art of finger-pointing and performative outrage while doing absolutely nothing to reopen the government. To drive the point home, the White House just launched MySafeSpace on its website, trolling the Democrats so hard you can almost hear the collective meltdown from Capitol Hill. It’s hilarious, it’s brutal, and it’s peak Trump. It’s a satirical page that seems designed to sting House Democrats and Senate leadership, particularly Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, with a heavy dose of workplace-appropriate ridicule.

Gates finally got to the right answer but not before doing immense damage as one of the most influential and well-heeled backers of a global scam to hijack science and scare the bejeesus out of a generation.

John Brennan, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, lost his cool last week when asked about the Russiagate probe. UPI It was satisfying to see former CIA Director John Brennan lose his cool when he was cornered in his comfortable lair among cronies in Virginia last week about his various plots against Donald Trump. Brennan was basking in the adulation of friends and assorted gullible future spooks as he sat on stage as part of an intelligence panel at the Hayden Center at George Mason University outside Washington, DC, Thursday night. But his smug demeanor cracked when he was confronted by whistleblower Thomas Speciale during audience question time.

National Review is turning 70. The legacy of that publication is hard to sum up, but suffice it to say, its impact on American politics has been enormous, and it’s one I certainly feel personally. I worked there for a couple of years, and I was very grateful for the job and the experience it gave me. My tenure at NR only overlapped with the last few months of William F. Buckley’s life, though I had met him once earlier in my career — he presented me with an award in front of my parents, who flew out to D.C. for the occasion —

Americans across the country usually have little reason to pay close attention to the politics of New York City — despite its size and status as the world’s financial capital — because it rarely affects them. However, as New Yorkers head to the ballot box next week to vote in the most significant mayoral race in decades, the eyes of the nation are fixated on the rise of a Marxist-Islamist as their likely choice in a city the nation rallied around in the wake of the attacks of 9/11.Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist, pro-Islamist, and naturalized U.S. citizen from Uganda, is poised to win the race.

WASHINGTON — Democrats are bracing for the possible retirement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, one of the party’s most powerful, popular and effective leaders, who served as chief antagonist to President Donald Trump during his first term and has quietly counseled Democrats as they take on Trump in his second term. She is expected to make an announcement about her future after Tuesday’s elections, when voters will consider a ballot measure, known as “Proposition 50,” that would redraw the state’s congressional lines. Pelosi is a prominent proponent of the plan, which Democrats hope would net them several seats in next year’s midterm elections.

The Vatican’s doctrinal office said Tuesday the titles of “Co-Redemptrix” and “Mediatrix” are not appropriate ways to describe Mary’s participation in salvation. In “Mater Populi Fidelis” (“The Mother of the Faithful People of God”), the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) said when an expression requires frequent explanation to maintain the correct meaning, it becomes unhelpful. “In this case, the expression ‘Co-redemptrix’ does not help extol Mary as the first and foremost collaborator in the work of Redemption and grace, for it carries the risk of eclipsing the exclusive role of Jesus Christ,” according to the doctrinal note, released Nov. 4.
