Americans across the country usually have little reason to pay close attention to the politics of New York City — despite its size and status as the world’s financial capital — because it rarely affects them. However, as New Yorkers head to the ballot box next week to vote in the most significant mayoral race in decades, the eyes of the nation are fixated on the rise of a Marxist-Islamist as their likely choice in a city the nation rallied around in the wake of the attacks of 9/11.Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist, pro-Islamist, and naturalized U.S. citizen from Uganda, is poised to win the race.

Just make damned sure the rest of the country does not rally around new York City after they elect this Muslim. Let them stew in their own juices. Do not under any circumstances bail them out for their ignorant mistake.

this is to announce i am now adding slavery as my second issue i vote on besides pro-life. The Democrats are supporting both, as they support Planned Parenthood and Islamism/Hamas both, so it won't affect my vote, but I want to come out and denounce Mamdani for kissy face toward Islamists and silence on the slavery implications. Did you not pity the mother trying to shield her children with her own body, whilch is certainly not going to be enough? Looking up at the slaver in terrori, he being one of your allied groups? It's all happening in the region where he grew up which comprises his argument for being a person of Wider Broader understanding than the rest of us. Tell us Mamdani what should we do about slavery by the Islamists? Could you kindly denounce it where we can hear?

I mean, turn over the financial capitol of the world to supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and pull in as many of their members and strategists as they can get away with... and what could possibly go wrong? Sounds downright Biblical to me.

New York City is toast but I can't see a 34-year-old delusional wonder boy making any headway in flyover country or anywhere else that Christian American Patriots have common sense and morals. History is full of examples of muslims attempting to control the lives of other people only to be slapped down and driven out.

I find it deeply troubling that my fellow Americans ... including many L-dotters here ... hate NYC so much that they think it will serve them right to elect a radical Muslim to the largest city in our fine country. This impending disaster will deeply effect everyone and not just tourists. NYC is much different from Seattle, Portland or even Washington and Chicago. Those cities suffer from stupidity that is not a contagion. However, NYC will become a launch pad for radicalization elsewhere. The Mayor of New York City will hurt everyone! Take it seriously.

National Review is turning 70. The legacy of that publication is hard to sum up, but suffice it to say, its impact on American politics has been enormous, and it’s one I certainly feel personally. I worked there for a couple of years, and I was very grateful for the job and the experience it gave me. My tenure at NR only overlapped with the last few months of William F. Buckley’s life, though I had met him once earlier in my career — he presented me with an award in front of my parents, who flew out to D.C. for the occasion —

From Milei in Buenos Aires to Meloni in Rome and Independents in Basingstoke, the revenge of the ordinary working man and woman, long sneered at by the metropolitan elite, is in full swing. In Buenos Aires, Javier Milei’s alliance has just cemented control of Congress with roughly 40% of the vote after delivering Argentina’s first budget surplus in 14 years. Inflation, once galloping toward 300%, is finally falling. The peso is stabilising. Exports are hitting record highs. For the first time in a generation, Argentina smells less like crisis and more like competence.

For years, conservative hero and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán almost single-handedly opposed suicidal EU policies and directives, becoming the European ‘bête noire’ that Brussels and Strasbourg love to hate. When it comes resisting the Globalist commitment to supporting the Ukrainian war effort to the detriment of their national interests, Orbán was also alone. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier today announced that he has filed a bill of complaint with the United States Supreme Court against the State of California, challenging its corporate taxation rules. Florida argues that a specific California tax regulation unconstitutionally targets and over-taxes multi-state businesses, particularly those operating across state lines, which Florida claims is directly harming its economy and discouraging companies from relocating or expanding to freer states. “California has created a tax system that punishes economic freedom,” said Attorney General James Uthmeier. "The Newsom regime is obviously attempting to punish business owners who have fled California due to its disastrous policies.”
