On a recent “60 Minutes” segment, UFC President Dana White was asked whether he worries that the sport might promote “toxic masculinity.” White shot back, “What does that even mean? Can you be too masculine?”
It was a revealing moment—one that captured our cultural confusion around the topic of masculinity. Both White and his interviewer were using a loaded phrase without defining it. The implication was clear: that “toxic masculinity” means too much masculinity, as if manhood were a substance that turns poisonous in excess.

Gavin Newsom has said a lot of ridiculous things over the years, but his latest claim takes the cake; saying he was a “young street hustler” who survived on mac & cheese and Wonder Bread might be his dumbest line yet. And fear not, the internet is coming for him hard. You almost have to admire Gavin Newsom’s commitment to absolute delusion. The man’s been handed everything his entire life. Talk about coming into the world with a silver spoon in your mouth. For years, Democrats proudly championed free healthcare for illegal aliens; heck, they’ve been bragging about it, debating it, and even building entire campaign platforms around it. But now that Americans are crushed under skyrocketing grocery bills, rent, and medical costs… and the government is literally shutting down to make sure illegal aliens are taken care of… Dems are now scrambling to rewrite history and pretend it never happened.
(snip) And if you want proof that this wasn’t just campaign talk, look no further than California, where Governor Gavin Newsom has proudly handed out free healthcare to illegal aliens for 22 years.

As previously outlined, Canada is so entrenched with their ‘orange man bad’ syndrome, they just cannot get out of their own way on stupid trade decisions. {GO DEEP} You might remember Mexico retreating from Chinese electric vehicle (EV) development following the November 2024 election of Donald Trump.
China was on the cusp of investing $5 to $7 billion in new EV manufacturing in Mexico, when President Trump announced he would impose massive tariffs to block any import of Chinese EVs made in Mexico. Trump won the election and together China and Mexico scrapped their plan.

The problem with deals made with terrorist groups is that they are generally pathological liars and oftentimes aren’t interested in “peace” at all; they just want a chance to regroup.
Under the Trump-brokered deal, Hamas was supposed to return all the Israeli hostages, yet they have not fully complied. Now Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused the group of violating the ceasefire by shooting at Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops in Gaza, and he’s vowing retribution:
"Following the security consultations, Prime Minister Netanyahu instructed the military echelon to carry out immediate and powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip," Netanyahu's office said Tuesday.

From Argentina to Japan, MAGA is going global.
President Donald Trump’s slogan has long been “America First,” and his movement is all about making America great again — language the president’s foes misunderstand as meaning “isolationism.”
In fact, strengthening America requires strengthening our friends and allies as well — and Trump sets an example for those leaders in Latin America, Asia and Europe who want to make their nations great again, too. There’s no paradox here. A robust international order is impossible if America has to sacrifice its own industrial capacity, and our people’s economic security, to global free trade.

Democrats on Tuesday voted for the 13th time to keep the federal government shut — as Senate Majority Leader John Thune told The Post there was an easy fix to ensure millions of Americans won’t lose access to SNAP food payments.
“The simplest way to end it and the simplest way to make sure that people are getting the food assistance they need is to pick up the bill and give us five votes,” Thune said in an exclusive interview as the Senate failed to reopen the government in a 54-45 vote.
“And we’ll, we’ll send it to the president. It’ll be signed into law.”

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates now says climate change “will not lead to humanity’s demise,” despite having spent years fearmongering over rising global temperatures.
Gates authored a surprising blog post on Monday advocating for climate activists to move away from the “doomsday outlook” they have spent years peddling.
“Although climate change will have serious consequences — particularly for people in the poorest countries — it will not lead to humanity’s demise,” wrote Gates, who has spent billions of dollars on climate-related initiatives. “People will be able to live and thrive in most places on Earth for the foreseeable future.”

The fight over the shutdown is coming to a head this week as Democrats appear ready to cave after one of their biggest union backers, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), called for the Democrats to end the shutdown by supporting a Republican stopgap money bill, passed in the House last month, that would fund the government until at least the Thanksgiving holidays. Republicans are working on another stopgap funding bill to keep the government fully funded until Christmas.
Also, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has informed the White House that they cannot tap a $5 billion contingency fund to pay for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

The Democrats appear to be a never-ending source of pitiable entertainment these days. Last week, it was the pathetic “No Kings” (what some mischievous wag called “No Brains”) rallies across the country. Those 2,700 anti-Trump therapy sessions for aging, anencephalic boomers were funded to the tune of $294 million by such public-spirited individuals and entities as Arabella Advisors, the Tides Foundation, George Soros, and Warren Buffett. Such streams of cash funneled millions through dozens of left-leaning entities, including the American Civil Liberties Union, the National LGBTQ Task Force, the Sierra Club Foundation, the Democracy Forward Foundation, and other havens for the perpetually aggrieved.

Even from a distance it is painful to observe the rise of Zohran Mamdani. I’d love to see a reboot of Mad Men that told the inside story à la Veep, but without the laughs. Maybe a few giggles, as the Mamd man demonstrates the limits of socialism in one city.
Mamdani held a big rally in Forest Hills over the weekend. Among the Mamd Men were Senator Bernie Sanders, Squad Rep. AOC, Governor Kathy Hochul, and other state leaders. Chuck Schumer can hear footsteps. He isn’t giggling over AOC’s history lesson, but it’s okay if you do. (X) This is classic: “We must remember in times such as this,

In the late 1850s, “Bleeding Kansas” was the term used to describe the escalating cycle of violence, when surrogates for the Union and soon-to-be Confederacy fought each other over whether Kansas would be admitted as a free or slave-owning state. As the assaults and killings increased, radicals set the agenda. The logical next step was the nightmares of Fort Sumter and Bull Run. Those calling for restraint and peaceful resolutions were considered weak and traitorous. The thuggish and violent, instead, were praised as the true idealists and patriots, the real “base” of their respective parties.

Did you see how President Donald Trump tore down the White House and replaced it with that restaurant in Trump Tower that serves taco bowls? Tragedy. It’s also a shame how he then killed everyone involved in the destruction so they wouldn’t be able to come back later and loot all the gold at the site, like the Pharaoh he is.
That’s actually the joke of it all: just how few people outraged by the construction at the White House are aware of what is actually happening. It’s mostly their fault, as they trust left-wing morons and talking heads who make their living turning nothing into mountains.

When a man seeks to lead the largest city in America, his citizenship should be beyond question. Yet the candidacy of Zohran Mamdani, an avowed socialist Democrat and recently naturalized U.S. citizen, has raised a troubling question: Did he obtain his citizenship under false pretenses?
That question became official on June 26, when Congressman Andy Ogles, Republican of Tennessee, formally asked the Department of Justice to investigate whether Mamdani’s 2018 naturalization should be revoked under 8 U.S.C. §1451(a) for “willful misrepresentation or concealment of material support for terrorism.”
The request, addressed to Attorney General Pam Bondi, was not a partisan stunt. It was a carefully structured one-page letter

Among them was a young organizer named Zohran Mamdani.
That image, posted on El-Yateem’s campaign page, marked the beginning of a political collaboration that would soon extend far beyond a local election. Eight years later, Mamdani — now 34 — is positioned to seek the mayoralty of New York City.

One aspect of the government shutdown that probably wasn’t anticipated by Chuck Schumer and other Democrats, is that it has revealed to the public just how many people receive food stamps. Years ago, when the program was still called ‘food stamps’ it was seen as something that struggling families might use temporarily to get through a hard time. Then it was re-branded as the ‘SNAP’ program and destigmatized. People were encouraged to enroll. Now there are many more people using the program, many who probably don’t even really need it. The longer the shutdown goes on, the more reports there are about this and it’s stunning to taxpayers

Congress is barreling toward a critical deadline for extending the enhanced ObamaCare subsidies at the heart of the government shutdown, and it may already be too late to shield the public from sticker shock with open-enrollment window shopping underway.
If somehow there is a deal done ahead of Nov.1, which looks unlikely, states and the federal government may still have time to incorporate the enhanced subsidies into their prices. But Republicans have made it clear that there will need to be changes to the tax credits before they even entertain an extension.

Zohran Mamdani may have won the Democratic primary in the race to become New York City’s next mayor, but many local Democrats still oppose him. In fact, he didn’t get a majority of votes in the first round against Andrew Cuomo, Brad Landers, and others.
The Post spoke to several “never Mamdani” Democrats from across the city about what worries them about the frontrunner, from his anti-business policies to his lack of understanding of working class struggles:
“If you know anything about Black history since the great migration, it was only by purchasing private property that we were able to gain economic empowerment in New York City … So,
