On a recent “60 Minutes” segment, UFC President Dana White was asked whether he worries that the sport might promote “toxic masculinity.” White shot back, “What does that even mean? Can you be too masculine?”
It was a revealing moment—one that captured our cultural confusion around the topic of masculinity. Both White and his interviewer were using a loaded phrase without defining it. The implication was clear: that “toxic masculinity” means too much masculinity, as if manhood were a substance that turns poisonous in excess.

The phrase in the title is a nonsensical made-up term coined by the radical Leftist Feminists.
It has no meaning, it's just a slur used to demean any man who is not a simpering soy-boy.
Just like the Leftists call anyone, who disagrees with them, a 'Fascist'. They don't know what it means, it's just a slur word to use against anyone who they don't like.

Change toxic masculinity to toxic people and I'm on board. Far too many people unwilling to behave like civilized human beings.

Made up term with subconscious meaning to brainwash boys and girls into believing that acting like a man is toxic while acting like a woman or something else is good. It how Democrats, schools and the media shape the next generation.

Oh there are toxic humans - Karen's come to mind. Then there are those suffering from TDS. Then the blue haired radicals who think communism is the answer to a perfect world. But there is no such thing as toxic masculinity. Boys are born the way they are and as they grow they learn the rules of behavior. Of course there are dangerous males but then there are dangerous females. The only toxic people in this conversation are the ones asking such stupid questions.

There is far more toxic femininity right now, than so-called toxic masculinity. The women are by far more “toxic.”

#8, #10.... You beat me to it!
I was going to suggest the phrase 'Toxic Karen'.
By the way, what ever happened to the group that Rush used to affectionately tease as 'the NAGS' - the National Association of Gals? (They called themselves the National Association of Women.)
They used to be in the news fairly often, but I have not heard any nonsense from them in what..... 20 years?
Maybe they got out-shouted by all the various pervert LGBTQ+++++ groups.

“For years, we’ve been trying to answer the wrong question. Instead of trying to figure out how masculine is too masculine, we should be asking: What does healthy masculinity look like? ”
1) 20 (maybe 15) years ago, no one would have dreamed of asking the question or defining masculinity as “toxic.”
It’s a nonsensical term meant to convey disgust for masculine men and a smug sense of superiority for the speaker.
2) this is an example of the broader devolution of the language and thought process.
And journos, ALL, seem incapable or unwilling to buck the status quo and start to challenge and ask the right questions to get at truth.
