The Crashing Failure of the Feminist Movement

Going back 250 years, the enemies of America thought long and hard about how to destroy the fledgling experiment of a democratic republic that our Founding Fathers had envisioned. It was and continues to be clear to them that America’s strength is a function of three phenomena: A fervent belief in the God Who makes miracles happen, for just one example the crushing defeat of the thunderously powerful English Empire’s armies by blazing patriots like General George Washington and his ragtag army of American heroes. An equally ardent belief in and passion for the concept of freedom.

This is a stunning and sobering piece, an inarguable indictment of the efforts of sinister forces to destroy the American Culture. And those forces have been largely successful, as detailed therein. It's like reading an after action report of a long and terrible battle. It went right into my 'Essential Columns' folder. Thanks Joan and OP!

Earlier this month, author Helen Andrews published the article "The Great Feminization" that has sent shockwaves online. If you have not read it, I highly recommend it: https://compactmag.com/article/the-great-feminization/. In it, Andrews starts that the current 'woke' movement has its direct origins from the firing of Larry Summers as President of Harvard in 2005. He made "off-the-record" comments (that were leaked) about the reasons behind low female representation in STEM professions. This is what Summers said that generated the tempest: "...female underrepresentation in hard sciences was partly due to “different availability of aptitude at the high end” as well as taste differences between men and women “not attributable to socialization.” Some women objected to what he said not because it was true (it was) but it was an emotional--if not hysterical--reaction for saying the silent part out loud. That reaction is what we now know as 'cancel culture'; firing someone and/or socially ostracizing them not over practical reasons but over emotional/irrational arguments for something the perceived perpetrator said or wrote that a leftist mob didn't like. Andrews furthers argues that feminism has led to over-representation of women in higher ed, law, medicine, publishing, and corporate culture writ large. She writes: "Everything you think of as wokeness involves prioritizing the feminine over the masculine: empathy over rationality, safety over risk, cohesion over competition." All this has adverse consequences to society by those who now wield the institutional levers of power, with the very same appeal to emotion over substance, that will ultimately lead to our downfall.

One more time: This is not a male vs. female issue. This is a truth-led vs. feelings-led issue, and the root is spiritual. Anyone remember the illustration of the two trains? The first example (wrong way) has feelings as the engine, with truth being based on how you feel. The other train (the correct way) has truth as the engine, and your feelings follow. Any society that is not grounded in truth (God's truths, in particular) is going to go off the rails. THAT is what is happening here.

Don't leave out the legal system in this country for the decline. Old and new laws that punished men in favor of women have also contributed to the decline. There is no equal justice when a guy can lose his freedom, his employment, and his reputation simply because a woman accuses him of something with no proof needed to do so. It's lead to young men avoiding young women because they could lose everything at the drop of a hat. It may be rare, but the word spreads fast when it does happen.

Hmm. failed? About 90% of docs are now women. Most mid-upper managers in businesses are now women. WAY too many police and fire chiefs are women. Competent? Well....that's possible, but not often seen.

Who said it failed. The only argument I would have is which movement succeeded. They certainly aren't feminists. Some groups can't even identify a woman anymore. Whatever movement it is, it is older than Socialism or Communism though both are part of it. We see an increase in arrogance, anger, hatred, and violence. We see the rule of law being replaced with might makes right. We are going backwards. To an age when humanity wasn't even civilized. Don't believe it. Just follow some online groups and witness how toxic some people have become. Anyone that has ever played an online game knows exactly what I am talking about. To make matters worse, it is now spilling out into the real world.

I’ve noticed myself not taking deliberately childless 30+ men and women seriously. It hasn’t been something I’ve been doing consciously, but without children there seems no real point to what they are doing with their lives. Even more so those deliberately single. Raising a loving family is infinitely greater than a career, success or wealth, but unfortunately from a young age women in particular have been brainwashed to believe otherwise. There’s going to be a lot of folks passing from this earth with no one to remember them or pray them. Sad.

President Donald Trump pulled out of trade talks with Canada Thursday night, furious over what he called a “fake’’ television ad from Ontario’s provincial government that quoted former U.S. President Ronald Reagan from 38 years ago criticizing tariffs -- Trump’s favorite economic tool. The ad features audio excerpts from an April 25, 1987 radio address in which Reagan said: “Over the long run such trade barriers hurt every American worker and consumer.’’ Trump attacked the ad on Truth Social Friday posting: “CANADA CHEATED AND GOT CAUGHT!!! They fraudulently took a big buy ad saying that Ronald Reagan did not like Tariffs,

President Trump blasted the United Nations for not being more involved in ending wars as he signed peace and trade deals Sunday with the leaders of Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia — with the three nations pledging to boost US economic ties in exchange for lower tariffs. Trump, 79, said a peace accord formalizing the truce that he brokered in July may save “millions of lives” in the two Southeast Asian nations, which were represented by their prime ministers at the ceremony in the Malaysian capital. “Millions of people are alive today because of this peace treaty,” Trump declared

A Hidden Tax: What Americans Are Really
Paying for Illegal Immigration

This entire exercise is a thought experiment, an attempt to look at illegal immigration through the lens of simplicity. Regardless of whether the numbers are distorted, underinflated, or politically manipulated, the point remains: the cost to the U.S. taxpayer is enormous. It takes away from their children’s future, their retirement security, and their ability to pay monthly bills. This is not a partisan rant, it’s a segmented breakdown of a quiet crisis. In a time when families are tightening budgets and questioning every dollar spent, one cost remains largely invisible, yet it drains billions from our economy and erodes the moral foundation of our republic.

Enter: Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, architects of the potential peace deal whereby Hamas finally released Israeli hostages after over two years of brutal captivity. Spiking the football, the two ventured into the belly of the beast by giving an interview to Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes. That alone is a rookie mistake, by rookies playing statesmen and politicos.

President Donald Trump is in a fight for the destiny of the Americas. Will Central and South America be free and aligned with the United States — or will half the Western Hemisphere be forever plagued by cartels, communists and Chinese influence? The Cold War in Europe ended more than 30 years ago, but it never really ended in our own backyard. Cuba remains communist, and a little more than a decade after the Soviet Union collapsed, Venezuela joined the ranks of socialist dictatorships under Hugo Chavez and then Nicolás Maduro. Whenever left-wing leaders come to power in the region, the United States and capitalism are their favorite targetsYet in those countries that,

US District Judge Jeffrey Cummings, a Biden appointee, barred ICE agents from arresting illegal aliens at Cook County, Illinois, courthouses if they don’t have a warrant. Judge Cummings said the ICE agents can be arrested if they violate his court order. The judge barred ICE agents from making “collateral arrests” – a term that describes the arrest of illegal aliens who happen to be discovered during the arrest of another alien for whom they have a warrant to take into custody.
