An underrated quality in life is knowing when to stay out of a debate. I won't claim to have always been perfect in that area, but hoo boy, did Chelsea Clinton fail the test on Thursday.
If you've been following the news, you're likely aware of the ongoing meltdown over President Donald Trump using private donations to remodel the East Wing into a ballroom. Since pictures of the construction went viral, nearly every Democrat politician and those adjacent to them have chimed in to claim it's symbolic of the destruction of our democracy. To call it mind-numbingly pretentious would be an understatement. But while the protestations from Elizabeth Warren,

I was one of those many, many retired officers who thought it was great when Pete Hegseth walked in and told an assembly of hundreds of generals and admirals that they suck and are fat, and they needed to unsuck and get unfat. Well, he was a little more polite than that, but not much. Of course, when their subordinates screw up in a massive way like these generals and admirals have over the last three decades, these generals and admirals would not have sugarcoated it. There would be no talk of feelings, no hugging. They would nuke their delinquent subordinates until they glowed. Some of the flag officers—

New York Attorney General Letitia James, even as she already faces fraud charges and an ever-expanding scandal of criminal allegations, has launched a portal for Democrats to report and therefore dox ICE agents.
After an ICE raid where federal officers arrested nine illegal aliens with criminal records in New York City, James and other Democrats flipped their lids, screaming about alleged abuses. Following the example of Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) and his fellow House and California Democrats, James launched her own ICE reporting portal, which could potentially justify yet more charges against her for violating federal immigration law.
James proudly announced in a press release on Oct. 22 that she is

EAST GRANBY, CT- “Turn down the temperature.” That is what Democrats have been “saying” about the current state of politics in this country. What they’ve been doing is far different. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.
East Granby is a small New England town located about 10 miles northwest of Hartford and is adjacent to Connecticut’s only international airport, a typical “bedroom” community comprised primarily of single-family homes and some light industry.
Now the Connecticut Centinal reports that the Democratic first selectman candidate in the upcoming election decided to post what is clearly a swastika with the word “MAGA” emblazoned across it.

Democrats have made lawfare an integral part of their party platform. After President Trump left office in 2021, Democrats spent years waging legal war against him.
New York AG Letitia James vowed to make a name for herself by prosecuting President Trump, vowing to "get" the former President and going so far as to try and seize his properties. Frank Luntz warned her that such a move would make Trump more popular with voters. Luntz was right, and now James is facing charges of mortgage fraud.
The Left is calling that prosecution a "weaponization" of our justice system. That's adorable for a variety of reasons, of course. Enforcing the law is

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) joined with California Democratic Rep. Kevin Mullin (CA-15) in a statement threatening ICE agents with arrest if they conduct immigration enforcement actions in the Bay Area.
“Reports of a planned mass immigration raid in the Bay Area are an appalling abuse of law enforcement power,” the statement read. “Broad sweeps that target families and terrorize law-abiding residents betray our nation’s values and waste resources that should focus on real threats to public safety.”
“It is important to note that California law protects communities and prevents federal agents from taking certain actions here

The White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, torched Robert De Niro on Wednesday, describing him as a "sad, bitter, broken old man" after the actor had called him a "Nazi" over the weekend on MSNBC.
"He has not made a movie worth watching in at least 30 years. Probably the longest string of flops. Failures, embarrassments," Miller said on "Hannity." "This man has been degrading himself on camera with one horrific film after another for my entire adult life, and he's not taken seriously by anybody, not by his family, not by friends, not his community."
"He's a shell of a man, and everyone disregards everything he says,"

Perhaps the most characteristic quality of our historical moment is the sheer nastiness of the Left. And by Left, I don’t mean the socialist extreme, I mean the entire Democratic Party. We see it all the time, literally every day.
This is one of thousands of instances: Jen Psaki, former White House Press Secretary, now a professional representative of the Democratic Party, insulted Usha Vance, wife of the vice president:
She asserted that Mrs. Vance, 39, mother of 3, was afraid of her overly “ambitious” husband, 41, who’s even worse than the 79-year-old Trump.
Vance is overly ambitious because Psaki thinks he wants to be president. Unlike, among many other vice presidents,

Senate Democrats aren't satisfied yet with the amount of violence directed at ICE and CBP agents, so they are planning to create what they call a "Master ICE Tracker to warn illegal aliens about ICE activity, and give Antifa militants more information about where exactly to position themselves for ambushes.
Assaults on ICE agents have skyrocketed by 1000%, and the violence directed at them has escalated from throwing Subway sandwiches to taking potshots at them and ramming cars into agents. But, to Democrats, ICE is the modern Gestapo; it seems like this level of violence and resistance to law enforcement officers is not nearly enough.

One of the many problems facing Jay Jones' campaign this month has been a story about reckless driving. Back in 2022 Jones went driving on the I-64 freeway east of Richmond, VA and got pulled over for speeding. The speed limit on this stretch of freeway is 70 mph. Jones was caught driving 116 mph, which works out to 46 mph over the limit. Any speed more than 20 mph over the limit is automatically classified as reckless driving and usually results in more than a fine. But not for Jay Jones. He got a sweetheart deal from the court.
If you were caught driving 46 miles per hour over

You might almost say she's damn near a 'has bean'...if you wanted to get your pun on...which, of course, I do.
We first were introduced to Anne Ramsay look-alike (only people adored actress Ms Ramsay), Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge, back at the end of July. What had been, by all accounts, a very successful Jazz Festival weekend was marred by the most horrific videos of black revelers attacking small groups of white festival goers in the city's downtown in the early morning hours and seriously injuring some of them.
'Nothing good happens after midnight' holds true again.
The videos were damn disturbing and hard to watch. (X) Above is only one

Happy Thursday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Here we are again, another discussion about how far off the reservation the Democrats have gone when it comes to their everyday approach to politics. I mean, it's really Cuckoo Land over there. I know that things started to get squirrely when His High Holiness the Lightbringer Barack Obama became president, but the combination of knowing that they had to throw in with the addled puppet Joe Biden, all the while worrying about the return of President Donald Trump, broke them in ways that I'm sure can't be healed.
Put more succinctly: there won't be a Kumbaya grand unity moment for
