Zohran Mamdani, the far-left, anti-white Democratic nominee for New York City mayor, addressed what he called “racist, baseless” attacks against him on Friday, linking these criticisms to a broader culture of “Islamophobia.” Speaking outside a mosque in the Bronx, he also paid tribute to “the memory” of an aunt of his and suggested she was the real victim of the September 11, 2001, radical Islamic terror attack on the city, as she did not feel comfortable wearing her Islamic headscarf on the subway afterwards.“I thought that if I behaved well enough or bit my tongue enough in the face of racist, baseless attacks… it would allow me to be more

Notice that he didn’t actually deny supporting global jihad. He only called Curtis Sliwa a racist for saying that he did. He didn’t express sadness and regret for the 3K lives lost on 9/11 but only that his aunt felt frightened of a personal backlash for wearing a hijab on the subway where she might have suffered hard stares.

If he had only told his good buddies not to crash those planes.....then all would be ok with his auntie..
Right?

But of course. Supposedly not being able to wear a piece of clothing, in her case, her Islamic headscarf, is much more tragic than actually being murdered. Or, in some horrific cases, having to choose to be burned alive or end your life by jumping out of an 80 story building. And let's not even go down the path of families left holding the ashes of their loved ones never to see them again.

Islam needs to be decertified as a religion, their IRS status revoked, and all foreign born Imans deported, and all mosques torn down. Muslims hate us and as commanded by the koran want to kill all of us. Islam has no place in our country.

Freedom of religion as implied in the laws and governance of modern pluralistic societies requires two things. One, clear and explicit acceptance of other religions to exist. Two, accepting the separation of Church and State. Islam does neither. It’s public practice should not be permitted.

I have lived it, so I have nothing but disdain for Islam. But the gall of this guy in NYC is beyond the pale. There are no words for it!
If Islam demands that you reject all other religious beliefs or face the sword, then we should insist that they denounce Islam or face deportation.

Now he has stepped in it. Many New Yorkers will be offended that he claims that his aunt is the REAL victim of 911. Hope his mouth finally brings him down.

There’s not much more to say about this guy. Mamdami has been very clear about who and what he is. If New Yorkers want a literal POS socialist radical muslim Mayor who hates Jews, wants to eliminate crime, prisons, police and private property rights then that is exactly what they will get.

Strange that he follows his dad’s religion, but not his mom’s, who I believe is a Hindu from India.OTOH, she could have converted to Islam too!! Check her out - Mira Nair- a film director etc etc.

''Islamophobia'' is their BS made-up term to describe a rational opposition to an absolutist and extremist ideology. She have gone back to Goatluvistan and worn her funny hat all she wanted.

No, the real victim was the guy who had to chose between burning to death in one of the towers or jumping to his death. If your aunt was harassed, she should have called a cop. If no one came due to defunding the police, she should have taken it up with her local politician. Wake up and smell the coffee Mamdami, no more kid gloves treatment.

Soooo...his main takeaway from the mass murders on 9/11 was that it Impacted "His mothers fashion choices"? What impacts did mask mandates have on other americans fashion options...what was HIS public position on those?
