President Donald J. Trump has once again received a clean bill of health following a comprehensive medical evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, according to a memorandum from White House physician Sean P. Barbabella released Friday.
The visit, described as part of his “ongoing health maintenance plan,” included advanced imaging, lab testing, and preventive assessments that a team of specialists and top medical consultants conducted. The memo noted that Trump’s test results were “exceptional,” with “stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.”
In preparation for upcoming international travel, the president also received “preventive health screenings and immunizations, including annual influenza and updated COVID-19 booster vaccinations.”

Over at last few years, people on the left have taken exception to the mission of Turning Point USA (TPUSA). Our leftist university campuses in particular have criticized the TPUSA mission, since it advocates conservative and religious values.
Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the founder of the organization, attempts to ban the organization have grown exponentially. And if they oppose the plans of TPUSA, they have good reason to be worried about maintaining their leftist agenda:
Since [Kirk’s] death, interest in Turning Point USA, the organization he co-founded has grown exponentially.
“In the past 2 weeks, TPUSA has received 121,000+ requests from high school and college students nationwide

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton commended the Trump administration on Friday for brokering the Gaza peace deal.
"It’s a really significant first step and I really commend Trump and his administration as well as Arab leaders in the region for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what's often called the day after," Clinton, Trump's 2016 rival in the presidential election, said on CBS News 24/7.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth kicked off a brief firestorm Friday during a press conference with the Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. While engaged in mutual backslapping over defense cooperation, Hegseth praised the Qatari role in brokering the ongoing cease-fire/peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, which was only possible after Israel blew up Hamas's leadership, which was in luxury accommodations in Doha. And he announced the opening of a training facility for Qatari pilots at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.

Roughly $4.5 billion in contracts have been awarded to expand border wall construction, including adding advanced technological surveillance along the southwest border.
Ten new construction contracts have been awarded through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection to add hundreds of miles of Smart Wall in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
“For years, Washington talked about border security but failed to deliver. This President changed that,” CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott said. “The Smart Wall means more miles of barriers, more technology, and more capability for our agents on the ground. This is how you take control of the border.”

President Donald Trump said Saturday that he has directed the Defense Department to use “all available funds” to ensure U.S. troops are paid Wednesday despite the government shutdown, a short-term fix that will not apply to the hundreds of thousands of federal workers who have been furloughed.
Trump said in a social media post that he was acting because “our Brave Troops will miss the paychecks they are rightfully due on October 15th.”
The Republican president’s directive removes one of the pressure points that could have forced Congress into action, likely ensuring that the shutdown — now in its 11th day and counting — extends into a third week and possibly beyond.

Reaction to newly surfaced videos this week of California Democrat gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter being an absolute horror of a human being to others is largely summed up as, “Wow, what a witch.” But there’s something deeper to consider when you put it in the context of Democrats more broadly and their extensively documented tendency to wreak havoc on innocent and unassuming people. For the uninitiated, one of the videos featuring Porter has her in a contentious back-and-forth with a California-based TV journalist asking the loud-mouth congresswoman if she feels the need to appeal to any voters who supported President Trump in the last election.

Before I begin today's piece, I want to step outside the proverbial box to take a moment and pass out a public "thank you" or two.
First, to my BitsBlog following, which if I'm reading the metrics correctly, has followed me here to PJ Media. For 24 years, BitsBlog has been a labor of love. With the help of my good friend Art Smith, I've never commercially capitalized on it. That love causes me to say, it will not be going away. The National Education Association (NEA), which represents millions of U.S. educators, sent an email to its approximately 3 million members with a map omitting Israel and labeling the territory as “Palestine.” The email was described as a resource packet for teaching about indigenous peoples, but critics argue it was promoting not recognizing Israel. The North American Values Institute (NAVI) called the inclusion of the map in the NEA email “an inexcusable lapse,” arguing the union must be held accountable for disseminating content that rationalizes anti-Israel sentiment. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) also condemned the action, saying it crosses from careless oversight

Deputy Director Ellis, like DNI Tulsi Gabbard is a solid MAGA ally. Without knowing the reason for his decision to remove the CIA general counsel, the New York Times is not happy.

Photos of Scott Semaya’s vile texts about Danielle Bellomo at a July school board meeting leaked this week on social media — and the widening scandal is now being investigated by local cops and roiling the affluent suburb of Marlboro.
“Bellomo must be cold — her nips could cut glass right n” read one text, allegedly captured on camera while Semaya’s fingers typed an “o.”

Indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James repeatedly listed her Virginia home as an “investment” property in financial disclosure forms – despite allegedly making false claims to a bank to obtain a favorable loan that barred her from using the house as a rental.
The three bedroom Norfolk, Va., home James purchased in August of 2020 – named in Thursday’s federal grand jury indictment – is listed in the “real estate” section of James’ 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 disclosures to the New York State Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government as an “investment,” valued at between “$100,000 to under $150,000.”

Malcolm Tanner has declared his plans to radically change the government of Loving County by the 2026 midterm elections in social media posts first reported by The Houston Chronicle. Kim said at the parade that the military “must continue to evolve into an invincible force that eliminates all threats.”

It can now be revealed that the Afghan migrant who threatened to kill Nigel Farage already has an extensive criminal history in Sweden, including knife offences, offences against women, and a pending case for alleged child pornography.
The Southwark Crown Court found 26-year-old Fayaz Khan, also known as Fayaz Hosseini and his internet handle Madapasa, guilty of threatening to kill Nigel Farage. The jury returned a unanimous verdict after two days of deliberation.
Khan also pleaded guilty to entering the country illegally.

The shutdown rages, ostensibly, but not many seem to notice. When will it end? I suppose when Chuck Schumer’s polling shows him pulling even with Ocasio-Cortez, now that he has stood up to the dreaded Trump.
In other more significant news, a cease fire finally came to Gaza. It is bittersweet: good to have the remaining hostages returned, bad that Hamas still exists. Whether any of the remaining points of President Trump’s peace plan are ever implemented, remains to be seen. But memesters gave Trump credit for saving the lives that could be saved.
Meanwhile, battles raged in Portland and Chicago. The Democratic Party and its judges came out foursquare for criminality,

Mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani and his lefty comrades are standing by state Attorney General Letitia James amid her indictment woes.
The Queens socialist fiercely defended James against the Trump administration during a love-filled news conference in Manhattan Friday, arguing the mortgage fraud case against her is politically motivated vengeance.
“This is a blatant miscarriage of justice. This is a shameless act of political retribution,” Mamdani seethed about the federal charges of bank fraud and making a false statement to a financial institution unveiled Thursday against James. “And instead of prosecuting Tish James for doing her job, Donald Trump should be doing his.”

It only took about five minutes after the announcement of her federal mortgage-fraud indictment for Dems near and far to wring their handkerchiefs about the injustice of it all.

Anmol handed over his legitimate New York-issued driver’s license, which had the words “No Name Given” in place of his first and middle monikers.

The global economy is finally waking up to the risks from authoritarian economics.
As China imposes critical mineral and lithium battery export restrictions on the U.S. and the world, one must ask: Why did anyone ever trust a mercantilist dictatorship like the Chinese Communist Party to be the world’s main supplier of so many critical goods?
To make matters worse, as China limits its critical exports to weaken our defenses, it also floods the world with overproduced cars and heavily subsidized steel, shutting out market-oriented producers.
What a racket.
Of course, we are not alone.
