It's a theory their mainstream media allies, of course, have floated as well, though at least some of them pointed out that the footage Trump has reportedly seen is not just from the 2020 George Floyd riots but from the unrest and violence Portland has seen near its ICE facility going back at least three months.
As the Gateway Pundit reported over the weekend, a young man named Nigel Max Edge was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder after opening fire on the American Fish Company restaurant dock in the North Carolina coastal town of Southport.

If government funding legislation isn’t passed by Congress and signed by Trump on Tuesday night, many government offices across the nation will be temporarily shuttered and nonexempt federal employees will be furloughed, adding to the strain on workers and the nation’s economy.

The national Black Lives Matter movement claims $33.4 million of its cash is being withheld by one of its progressive partner organizations, The Post has learned.

You Call This A Shutdown?

Once again, we are being treated to a fusillade of stories about the horrors of a government shutdown. But we invite readers to consider this: Roughly two-thirds of government spending will continue despite the “shutdown.”
In other words, there is absolutely no reason for Republicans to cave on Democratic demands that Medicaid benefits for illegals and Obamacare subsidies for higher-income families be restored.
The longer the federal government remains shut down, the more people will realize how meaningless it is, and the less leverage Democrats will have.
