The ‘Jews’ Are a Proxy for a Far Bigger
Political Fight

Historically, Americans have been less susceptible than Europeans to antisemitism. But since October 7, 2023, American Jews have found themselves squarely in the crosshairs of the political left and the political right. Assigned a symbolic role by both fringes, American Jews are caught in the cross fire as progressive internationalists and extreme isolationists battle each other for control of the traditional middle of the country. On the left, antisemitism takes the form of anti-Zionism. Its emblem is the “tentifadas” on elite campuses. Universities that style themselves champions of diversity now host chants for Israel’s eradication.

No, this is not a "both sides do it" thing. There's a huge number of people on the left who are in positions of power with large followings who loudly and proudly declare their Jew hate. The people on the far right are who say this stuff are so marginalized you have to go looking for most of them and there aren't that many. They have no power of voice.

Weirdo Tucker is hardly “right”. He’s just a weirdo on whatever side is paying him. Once it was CNN. For a while, Fox. Now it’s Qatar.

Apologies if I have posted this before... There is the old canard, "Some of my best friends are Jews". In my parents case it was true. We were constantly at their house for meals and vice versa. They had a beautiful daughter that I would have asked out if I wasn't so shy. When the men died, the two widows became like sisters. I have never understood broad, blatant anti-Antisemitism. At my advanced age, I have known some aholes who were Jewish but even more Gentiles. Over 40 years in my own business, you meet all kinds of people, both good and bad. What I don't understand is Jews voting for leftists. They should be able to see now that the left is not their friend and they are turning on them and Israel. They are also about to get a real enemy, Zohran Kwame Mamdani.

#3 - I also have trouble understanding the bias against Jews. There was an older Jewish couple in our neighborhood who were childless and opened their home to all us kids. Theirs was a favorite house at Halloween where you got to take a handful from a bowl of quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Bud and Ella knew we'd get enough candy! They were like the grandparents for the whole neighborhood. In Catholic grade school we learned about the "Righteous Gentiles" that helped to save Jews from the Nazis, including many Catholic nunneries that hid them. It was emphasized that Jews are our older brothers and sisters in Faith of the same Creator God.

The Justice Department on Wednesday fired the top national security prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virginia. Michael Ben’Ary was fired after investigative reporter Julie Kelly publicly called him out as a top advisor to Lisa Monaco. Recall that Lisa Monaco was an Obama-Biden partisan hack who targeted Trump and threatened to indict top Republicans for January 6. Monaco was part of Obama’s secret team that met in the White House basement in 2016 to discuss how to set up Donald Trump in their Trump-Russia collusion sham.

ALBANY — New York issued a driver’s license to a migrant — but didn’t require a first name. The revelation came as Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt said a man caught up in a raid that ensnared 125 illegal immigrants in his state had a New York commercial driver’s license with “No Name Given” in the place of his first and middle monikers. “If New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with ‘No Name Given,’ that’s on them. The moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws,” the Republican wrote in a social media post Monday, along with a picture of the license.

Over the past week, Ecuador has undergone a series of violent protests, strikes, and blockades across some of its provinces led by the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE) in response to President Noboa’s mid-September decision to end diesel fuel subsidies in the country. The violent protests have so far reportedly left one protester dead and 12 injured military officials On Sunday, President Noboa personally led a humanitarian convoy alongside other government officials and international representatives to the city of Otavalo, Imbabura, one of the municipalities most affected by the ongoing strikes and violent protests.

The bomb squad was dispatched to the scene on Tuesday when the device was reported just outside a building on the Utah State University campus. Administrators had already been taking extra security measures due to “heightened concerns” ahead of the Turning Point USA event — the first in Utah since the assassination of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. Though the device was deemed to be “non-explosive,” video showed members of the bomb squad yelling, “fire in the hole,” before a loud bang sounded off. Take a look:

They must advocate for programs that most people believe will improve their lives by making America more affordable.Democratic candidates are doing this now as they campaign in the only two races for governor this year, in Virginia and New Jersey. Speaker Mike Johnson wasn’t going to let CNN’s Kaitlan Collins lie about the Schumer shutdown. This interview took place hours before it became official, but the government is currently shut down. At 12:01 am, the Democrats decided to shut everything down for the sake of funding for illegal alien health care, refunding National Public Radio, and gutting the rural healthcare fund, which Republicans replenished after Democrats complained. We’re dealing with the Tylenol kids of Congress right now, led by Chuck Schumer, who is hated by his own base, and Hakeem Jeffries, the Dollar Store Obama.

One of the rationales Oregon Democrats have been using to push back against President Trump's authorization of troop deployment to Portland is that they say he's using footage of the rioting that happened in 2020 during the George Floyd riots to justify his decision, implying there's no current footage, which is false. It's a theory their mainstream media allies, of course, have floated as well, though at least some of them pointed out that the footage Trump has reportedly seen is not just from the 2020 George Floyd riots but from the unrest and violence Portland has seen near its ICE facility going back at least three months.

Having grown up Catholic, and having attended Catholic mass quite recently, I feel particular sadness over the following story. In fact, it reminded me of why I once turned to one of history’s greatest Anglicans, the legendary Christian author C.S. Lewis, for help with understanding what lies at the core of Christianity, as well as why Christians of different denominations feel so strongly about their differences. In a video posted to YouTube on Tuesday, a reporter from the Catholic television network EWTN asked Pope Leo XIV to help people of faith understand a decision by Cardinal Blase Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago, to honor pro-abortion Democratic Sen. This week, federal officials made an astounding announcement: Nearly half of all immigrants in greater Minneapolis were found to have committed some form of immigration fraud. The fraud, uncovered in a September sweep, came in all kinds — sham marriages, fake death certificates and “other bizarre schemes,” as US Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Joseph Edley put it. But the revelation was no great surprise to those of us who have followed the settlement of some 100,000 Somali immigrants in Minnesota over the past three decades. As far back as 2008, the State Department temporarily suspended one of the family reunification programs used by Somali immigrants when DNA testing of applicants

Charlie Kirk is dead. Americans must face why. His murder was not random, not confusing, not detached from the battles he fought so fiercely in life. It was the direct consequence of his bold refusal to bend before one of the most aggressive and destabilizing ideologies of our time: transgender radicalism. For years, Kirk warned about the dangers of this movement. Not just its cultural consequences, but the deeper crisis of mental illness and violence it has unleashed across the nation. In the end, his voice was silenced by precisely the pestilence he spent his career opposing. The facts are painfully clear. On Sept. 13, 2025, police captured Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old suspect
