Democratic-led states including New York and New Jersey have refused to lower flags to half-staff this week in honor of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The refusal is in defiance of a presidential proclamation issued by Donald Trumpordering the nationwide tribute following Kirk's killing. The directive was signed Wednesday and instructed US flags on all federal property to remain at half-staff until Sunday evening in recognition of what Trump called Kirk's service as 'a truly Great American Patriot.'

We've seen a lot of reactions from people on the left in response to the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk. Many Democratic politicians condemned the killing in very similar terms. It was good they condemned it, although some of them, at least to me, felt like they were saying it because they thought they had to--after all the ginning up of anger that many of them have done against the right. One who broke that mold a bit and delivered a very emotional reaction was "The Young Turks" host, Cenk Uygur.

Christian Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University, as someone who “spread infinite amounts of disinformation about LGBTQ people.”
The spokesman did not provide any examples, but told The Advocate, the self-proclaimed “queer paper of record,” that, “Lies and vitriol about transgender people were a frequent part of his rhetoric and events.”It should be easy to find examples because Kirk produced so many videos, but perhaps The Advocate failed to show any of Kirk’s “vitriol” because they don’t exist. When Kirk engaged with the LGBT community, it was always with respect. He saw the humanity in people who desperately want to be seen, heard, and

When former Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin galumphed into office in 2021, one of his first priorities was rooting out extremism in the ranks.
In an April 9, 2021, memo, Austin inaugurated his "Immediate Actions to Counter Extremism in the Department and the Establishment of the Countering Extremism Working Group (CEWG)." One of its four requirements was:

Utah Governor Spencer Cox has set the record straight in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, directly contradicting left-wing attempts to claim the Charlie Kirk assassin was "right-wing."
As RedState reported, there has been a perverse, incoherent attempt to try to blame Kirk's assassination not only on himself, but to suggest left-wing ideology played no role in the heinous crime. One of the latest to do it was disgraced former congressman Adam Kinzinger, who put out this post on Saturday morning. According to Cox, though, who has direct involvement in the investigation, it is "very clear" to investigators that Tyler Robinson was "indoctrinated with leftist ideology."

What the left’s public execution of Charlie Kirk has done to mobilize the MAGA movement is something I never expected to see.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been a part of the conservative movement. Never a mover or shaker, but a cog happy to be overpaid to do my part. And an observer. Always an observer.
Last week, after the terrible news arrived that Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk had been assassinated, I observed something remarkable. It was so remarkable, it’s difficult to find the words, but I’ll try… It was as if some years ago someone downloaded a computer program directly into the fractured and fragile right-of-center movement,

Political assassinations in America are usually committed by nutjobs. Lee Harvey Oswald was a communism-sympathizing loser. James Earl Ray was a career criminal who copped a guilty plea to avoid the death penalty and then falsely maintained his innocence until the day he died in prison.
This time feels different. This murderer looked normal. He earned college credits while in high school. He was a straight-A student. He had no criminal record.
He lived at home with his parents, two registered Republicans active in their Mormon church in conservative Utah. The family all talked ‘round the dinner table, as families used to.

There is a safe and inexpensive cure for many types of cancer that is apparently being ignored by medical industrial complex and media. One possible reason why is because this new treatment protocol includes ivermectin (IVM). During the pandemic the use of this so-called “horse dewormer” was vigorously attacked by legacy media and banned as a COVID-19 treatment by the Biden administration’s FDA and CDC. India used it and had 10 times fewer deaths. Perhaps admitting that IVM worked would be embarrassing. During the pandemic many courageous doctors were fired for questioning the government-mandated COVID-19 treatment protocol or warning of the dangerous mRNA vaccine side effects.

As soon as Charlie Kirk was assassinated, the pundit class starting wringing its collective hands about retribution.
But instead of acts of vengeance, instead of looting and burning down buildings, instead of terrorizing communities, Charlie Kirk’s supporters … held prayer vigils.
In fact, the only violence that we’ve seen so far has been instigated by leftists, who showed up at some of these vigils with a clear intention of stirring up hostility.
In Idaho, a scuffle broke out – at a candlelight service – after a man on a scooter with a rainbow backpack started yelling “F*** Charlie Kirk.” He continued to scream and shout obscenities as he left, apparently unharmed.

Charlie Kirk’s killer was not a lone wolf. He was part of a pack. He evolved from a toxic left-wing ecosystem that has produced a series of violent attacks in our nation in recent years. That ecosystem has a lot of players that stoke the destruction. It starts with socialism itself. That ideology has always been based in emotion and perceived victimhood. These days they have converted our sacrosanct free speech rights into a concept called “hate speech.”

With the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday has come the inevitable political idiocy in the aftermath.
As RedState reported, it was revealed that Tyler Robinson had engraved anti-fascist phrases and other oddities on the ammunition he used in his bolt-action .30-06 rifle. That, along with the fact that he murdered one of the most prominent right-wing figures in the world, didn't exactly point to him being on the political right.
Yet, by Friday morning, the narrative that Robinson was actually a "right-wing groyper" was spreading like wildfire on social media, pushed by many large Democrat accounts.

Whenever a crime hits the national headlines, the left seems to leap straight to politicizing it. A mass shooting? Must be a white Christian nationalist. When Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman and was shot, the media literally called Zimmerman a “white Hispanic.” Why? Because the narrative demanded it. The left is always obsessed with the race, gender, religion, and ideology of both the victim and the perpetrator—and if the facts don’t fit their preferred narrative, the incident gets buried or twisted.
Now, they’re doing it again—this time with the man who killed civil rights leader Charlie Kirk.

An appeals court ruled on Friday that the Trump administration can begin deporting around 500,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
Newsweek reached out to the White House and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) via email on Friday evening for comment.
Why It Matters
DHS ordered half a million migrants to self-deport, issuing termination notices to nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who had entered the country under "humanitarian parole" programs that started under the administration of former President Joe Biden.
This marked the first mass revocation of humanitarian parole, according to the Associated Press (AP).
