The U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Friday to support a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict and urge Israel to commit to a Palestinian state, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vehemently opposes.
The 193-member world body approved a nonbinding resolution endorsing the “New York Declaration,” which sets out a phased plan to end the nearly 80-year conflict. The vote was 142-10 with 12 abstentions.
Hours before the vote, Netanyahu said “there will be no Palestinian state.” He spoke at the signing of an agreement to expand settlements that will divide the West Bank, which the Palestinians insist must be part of their state, saying, “This place belongs to us.”

Dittos OP. All the 2 states solution would do is make it easier for Hamas, et. al to attack Israel and spur them on for more territorial concessions.

Been tried more than once. In every case, it was rejected because the Palestinians did not want to live next to the Jews. Israel's enemies want a single state solution - destroy Israel and give their land to everyone else.

I am for a two-state solution, as long as the Palestinian state is established somewhere in South America.

Screw the UN. They have been on the wrong side of history for decades. None of them have to live with Hamas and the fake palestinians.

The time for a two state solution is long past. The people in Gaza were offered a state years ago if they would renounce the destruction of Israel. They would not.

Gaslighting The UN already voted for a two state solution 79 years ago. The Arabs have spent that whole time ignoring it.

I thought there was a two state solution, well until Hamas decided to kick things off again. They don't want peace. They only want to ensure there are no more infidels and by infidels, they mean Jews, Christians...anyone not submitting to their version of god.

O don't see any of the Arab states volunteering any of their empty swaths of sand for a Palestinian state. The Arabs see Palestinians as dangerous as the Israelis do. They prefer them on Israeli soil rather than having to deal with them.

Hamas.......it's not land that they want........their sole interest is in murdering the Jews, and after that, everyone else that isn't muslim. That's not my opinion, look at their track record.

The United Nation can spit into the wind...for all I care...Netanyahu has been through to many two state solutions...he knows that what the Hamas leftovers want...a change to grow in strength for another attack on Israel....it ain't happening...no matter how the UN huffs and puffs....Israel will protect Israel from ever having a two state solution....

The U.N. is a bad joke and should be evicted from the site they occupy in New York City. The only thing they seem 'united' on is their naked hatred of Israel. Never a word on any other conflicts in the world-the genocides in Rwanda or South Africa went unmentioned, except for the Left going crazy about the US accepting white farmer families fleeing S.A. because the blacks are hunting them down, killing them and seizing their land. UNRWA was shown to offering material support to Hamas. Its time for the UN to go, anywhere but here. And without US support of any kind.

It doesnt matter how the General Assembly votes or what they vote on. It only matters what the Security Council votes on.
Its like the high school student government vs the school board.

The Brits already did this, 100 years ago. Jordan got over 34,000 square miles, and Israel was supposed to get 4,000 square miles. Then the Brits reneged, and Israel got nothing for another 40 years. So two states were created then. Now the UN wants to carve off some of Israel to facilitate the creation of a murderous, lying, hateful enemy of all Western values.

They had that 2 state solution and who broke the trust that they would live peacefully? Israel doesn't need those people invading, raping their children and murdering their citizens. Those folks broke an agreement in a horrible way and need to find another place to live.

This demonstrates a principal motive behind antifa and the commies destroying historical monuments -- so the world won't remember things we've already tried and found their promises to be repeatedly broken.

The United Nations: Joke or menace? If we cannot withdraw from the UN immediately, the United States should stop paying more than its fair share of the UN's budget. In 2025 the US is contributing 22% of the UN's regular budget and 26.2% of its "peacekeeping budget."

What they REALLY want for a "Two State Solution" is: 'The Nation of Gaza' and the 'Nation Of Palestine', feasting for a while on the corpse of the 'Nation That Used To Be Known As Israel' before they turn it back into the sere hellhole that it was before Israel made it bloom.
