Office Depot is facing backlash and even boycott calls after a Michigan store allegedly refused to print a poster of slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk for a vigil, with a GOP official blasting the company online and calling the move censorship.
Matthew DePerno, an attorney and Republican activist, said the Kalamazoo County Republican Party ordered the poster at 2:24 p.m. Friday from the Office Depot in Portage, MI, for a vigil honoring Kirk scheduled for that evening.
But around 5:30 p.m., DePerno said a store print supervisor named “Beryl” called and told organizers the order would not be completed because the poster was “propaganda.”

According to other sources, Office Depot fired the print supervisor.

I saw the video where they confronted this "Beryl" person and asked why they denied the job, and she continued to insist it was "propaganda" even though they told her it was for a prayer vigil.
Leftists are an evil cult.

I believe that Office Depot has issued a response which included an apology.
What I read seemed appropriate and sincere

Rather than boycott, we should support them. They apparently fired that person. What more can they do?

The apology should be accepted ONLY after they clearly show evidence that all employees have been warned that such behavior will result in immediate dismissal.

Need the full name of the print supervisor. Current location is optional.

#7, you'll be more at home at Bluesky or the Daily Kos. Doxxing is not allowed here. You're the reason so many threads get shut down. Go away and let the adults talk.

If Charlie Kirk’s death can bring about change, it will not have been in vain. The resolve on the part of conservatives to fight back and hold people accountable is at a level I have never seen. We are not a violent people, but we are a strong people. Glad to see those on the right not walking away in the name of “turning the other cheek,” but instead, holding their ground. Charlie would be pleased, I think.

I have mixed thoughts about doxing. Democrats dox like mad, including leaks of private information about gun owners. But I do agree that doxing is not appropriate on this site.

#10, poor trolling attempt. The bakers refused on religious grounds, a valid, legal reason to do so. They also owned the business and decided with whom to do business. This idiot was a low-wage worker, who openly violated corporate policy to push her hatred. I know you're a liberal, thus incapable of logical thought, but do try to exercise your brain cells on occasion.

As others are saying, what a stupid idea to boycott Office Depot after they did the right thing by firing the employee. If anything, we should be promoting them!

#4 - for starters, OD could hiring employees with pink, blue, turquoise, canary yellow, green, or rainbow colored hair. that's typically a clue you're dealing with a crazy person.

#13: I'll keep doing business with them. After reading the story of the refusal to take the order, I was fully prepared to go many miles to a Staples in a nearby town for my office supplies in order to boycott an OD that is located practically around the corner. Then I read of the propagandist employee's firing and rescinded my boycott plans.
