A federal judge on Tuesday granted a temporary restraining order blocking President Donald Trump’s firing of Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook for now.
The ruling means Cook will remain on the board of the central bank until her case is heard at length. She is allowed to continue carrying out her work during that time.
In granting the order, U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb said that "the Court will enter an injunction directing [Fed Chair Jerome] Powell and the Board of Governors to allow Cook to continue to operate as a member of the Board for the pendency of this litigation."

How is it in the publics best interest that Cook continue to serve? How is someone accused of mortgage fraud (at worst), or ablity to accurately complete mortgage applications (at the least), be permitted to make monumental financial decisions for the country? At a minimum, Cook must be removed from the Fed. Her actions should also disqualify her from any teaching position as she appears unable to complete simple paperwork. Jail would be even better.

Judge Cobb and Lisa Cook are sorority sisters (Delta Sigma Theta.) The sorority's president issued an official statement supporting Ms. Cook following her removal by President Trump. Prior to this ruling President Trump publicly criticized Judge Cobb's failure to recuse herself despite her apparent conflict of interest.

#3, I also read that Cook and the judge are sorority sisters (sistahs?)
No 'Conflict of Interest' here! (/sarc off)
By the way, is it just me, or does it seem that Lisa Cook at Letitia James appear to have been separated at birth?

A normal board would already have removed her for failing to maintain ethical and legal obligations as a public servant, and for causing the loss of public confidence in the integrity of the Federal Reserve System. Due to her personal financial dealings, she brings disgrace to the entire board by her continued presence there.

The Judge's ruling is more than temporary, awaiting her hearing of the case, whenever she chooses to put it on her docket. The ruling goes beyond constraining the firing for cause to mandating the Federal Reserve's internal operational procedures for handling a member that has been fired by the POTUS. I don't believe this Judge has the authority to dictate Federal Reserve internal procedures, which has full authority to release a member for unethical behavior. Jerome Powell, best known as Too Late, I understand Powell is busy overseeing the building of the Taj Mahal for $3.1 Billion, including a restaurant for officials, roof gardens, and underground parking, but he might do his job: reviewing the ethical behavior of his board, and investigating why data driven Federal Reserve policies are based on incorrect data, like the 1.5 million understatement of new jobs by the Biden administration. Perhaps Chairman Powell could take time away from lowering interest rates to elect Kamala and future Democrats to do his job.

#3 hit it on the head. There is a huge conflict here. I say take this firing to higher court and then have congress impeach the Judge.

Why isn’t she being charged with a crime? Shouldn’t she be required to pay a fine of retribution for the amount she ripped off?

Does it not seem as though most of the Democrats have a conflict but use their "connections" to their personal benefit?
At least we are now exposing all of those judges, in particular, who we now know AREN'T impartial and illustrate partisan BIASES.
