The Princess of Wales’ new blonde locks could reflect her wish to draw attention to them after hair loss--a change that may show she's left her cancer treatment behind, according to an expert. Kate Middleton unveiled her lightest hair color to date when she attended a Sunday church service at Crathie Kirk in Balmoral, Scotland. [Snip] The future queen’s new sun-kissed blonde tresses showed a dramatic evolution from the brunette hair that captured the public’s attention when she began her royal life and married Prince William nearly two decades ago.

At least four people are dead, including a child, and 19 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago during the weekend, according to police. The ages of the victims range from 5 to 48. In the first shooting of the weekend, a 33-year-old woman was driving just before 7 p.m. in the 1900 block of West 66th Street when she suffered a gunshot wound to her right eye. Police said an unknown suspect inside a black vehicle fired multiple gunshots in the victim's direction and then fled in an unknown direction.

As of this week, Washington, D.C. has now gone nine consecutive days without a single murder — a striking and rare milestone in a city long plagued by violent crime. While the left-wing media hesitates to give credit where it's due, the facts are clear. This sudden drop in violence follows directly on the heels of President Donald Trump's decisive federal crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital. Just weeks ago, President Trump declared a crime emergency in D.C., authorizing federal intervention and deploying National Guard troops to assist law enforcement overwhelmed by years of leniency, neglect, and bureaucratic hand-wringing.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson invoked a popular comic strip in an angry dissent, accusing her colleagues of being in the bag for President Donald J. Trump.
The left-winger who was appointed by disgraced former President Joe Biden to fulfill his pledge to put a black woman on the SCOTUS has repeatedly shown that she lacks the intellect and temperament for the job with her emotional antics.
Not that another example was needed, but Jackson served it up anyway, describing the court’s latest overruling of an activist lower court judge who blocked the ending of DEI-based grants at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as “Calvinball.”

Two people have been charged with murder for the fentanyl death of a toddler in March in Leavenworth, Kansas.
“The Leavenworth Police Department arrested 40-year-old Tara Huerta on Friday. The Kansas City Police Department arrested Kenneth Hedgecock, 34, days later,” WTVM reported.
The arrests occurred after a 3-year-old was found unresponsive in Huerta and Hedgecock’s apartment in March and was transported to a hospital. The child ultimately did not survive, and a May 29 autopsy report revealed the toddler died of acute fentanyl toxicity.

Representative Al Green, who has served Texas’s 9th Congressional District since 2005, will finally leave office.
The Texas Legislature, led by Republicans, passed a legal redrawing of congressional maps that effectively eliminates District 9. Green, best known not for legislation but for shouting down President Trump during his address to Congress in March 2025, will be removed from office after nearly two decades of loud, ineffective, and divisive politics.
Unsurprisingly, Rep. Al Green called the redistricting racist. But the only racial injustice here is the Democrat Party’s decades-long abuse of district lines to cling to power.

When I was young, World War 2 was still very fresh in the national memory. My Dad was a World War 2 veteran, as were all three of my uncles. Most of my friends' fathers were either World War 2 or Korean War veterans - sometimes both. But there are very few of those brave men left.
Now, there's one less. The last United States Navy fighter ace from World War 2 has gone to join his comrades. Donald McPherson, an F6F Hellcat pilot who flew off the aircraft carrier USS Essex, shot down five Japanese aircraft in air-to-air combat, earning him the title of "Ace"

In the wake of President Donald Trump's crime crackdown, which is reportedly heading to Chicago next, an absolute unit of an AWFL stepped forth to deliver a post that broke the internet. Her name is Jill Ciminillo, and she wants you to know that she was carjacked in Chicago. Not only that, but she had her arm broken by the criminals who violently attacked her. In fact, she posted pictures of her bruising to prove it,

During an interview with Kristen Welker on this week's "Meet the Press," Vice President JD Vance discussed the redistricting battle involving Texas and California that may draw in other states. Once again, Vance just smashed that one out of the park, crushing the Democrats' hypocritical posturing about being the victims in the battle.
Vance noted how Democrats had aggressively gerrymandered their states over the past 10 to 20 years. [Tweet, video]
He used Massachusetts as an example, explaining that, despite 32 percent voting Republican in the state, there was zero federal representation.

It appears that many of Boston's officers are quietly rebelling against the anti-ICE stance taken by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu's (D) administration. According to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, Boston cops are secretly providing critical information to federal immigration officials to help arrest criminal illegal aliens—a bold move that flies in the face of the sanctuary city policies pushed by Wu and other extremist Democrat mayors across the country.
For years, Boston, under Wu’s leadership, has been one of the loudest advocates of the sanctuary city movement. Her administration has consistently refused to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, shielding illegal immigrants from enforcement efforts

It’s moments like this that end campaigns. Terry McAuliffe sealed his fate against Glenn Youngkin after he imploded in the debates, where he went full communist on education and parental rights, saying parents shouldn’t have a say in what schools teach their children.
The ‘We own your kids’ attitude killed him. In 2025, Republican gubernatorial candidate Winsome Sears addressed a meeting of the Arlington County School Board after a sex offender gained access to a girls’ restroom at a local high school, claiming to be transgender. Of course, rich white liberals came out to rally for this insanity to continue. And one sign made the event go viral:

A few years ago, on the way home from a road trip, my wife and I stopped at a Cracker Barrel along the highway. The kids had never been to one, and we wanted to share with them one of our favorite childhood experiences. Needless to say, we were disappointed. It took forever to get our food. And when it finally arrived, the food wasn’t just bad. It was downright awful. The waiter, bless his heart, was a space cadet.
On the way out, our kids asked in genuine befuddlement why we talked the place up so much.

The headline read: “If We Really Did Have a ‘Creator,’ He Certainly Wouldn’t Have Been Very intelligent.”
Say what?!
The headline -- and story -- were on a site called The Daily Galaxy, of which I know nothing. But the piece and its banner were spawned by a remark Neil deGrasse Tyson made during one of his many public talks/interviews. At one point, Tyson actually stated, “If we had a creator, I’d have to say that the creator is pretty stupid.”
Unlike Neil deGrasse Tyson Himself, of course. I mean, he’s brilliant.
Tyson also magnanimously stated: “I have no problems, if as we probe the origins of things, we bump up

I don’t know why anyone is giving George Conway a platform anymore, but for some reason he appeared on the latest episode of The Bulwark’s podcast. Naturally, he served up one of the wildest, most paranoid rants you’ll ever hear outside of an MSNBC broadcast.
He doesn’t have a shred of serious analysis left. All he’s doing now is spoon-feeding the anti-Trump crowd the junk they crave—cheap conspiracy fuel to prop up their endless fearmongering.
“If Donald Trump gets control of policing in the Capitol,” Conway warned ominously, “he wants complete control… think about the consequences.” Then he went full Hollywood thriller:

U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra says Canada is jeopardizing the future of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) — also known as USMCA — on free trade due to Canadian counter-tariffs on certain American products.
“Canada is the country that has pulled the rug out from USMCA,” Hoekstra said in an exclusive interview with Global News on Thursday.
“They also started putting tariffs on CUSMA products … We haven’t done that, but Canada has decided ‘That’s fair game. We will call into question CUSMA.’”

The crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital is Miller’s latest project, working to make his own mark as Trump and his administration officials fan out across the city to highlight a federal take over. [snip] As of Friday morning, 719 arrests had been made as part of the federal crackdown on crime. Of those arrests, 300 were illegal immigrants and five of those arrested have been known gang members, including one MS-13 gang

Midterms traditionally run against the party in power in the White House.
But some important facts explain why Democrats are freaking out over the redistricting in Texas.
We previously reported on the huge shift in party registration numbers, according to a recent analysis. When Democrats have lost 2.1 million registrations and the Republicans have gained 2.4 million over the past four years, I think you can call that a "crisis" for Democrats.
Then, too, they are cratering to historic lows in approval as well. In July, they had 19 percent approval in a Quinnipiac poll, and then hit a 35-year low

While speaking to Lara Trump about the ongoing Russiagate review efforts, Devin Nunes notes, “The only thing that President Trump and this administration can do, is make sure that whoever can be held accountable, are held accountable, and that this doesn’t happen again; that these people are taught a lesson, so that this doesn’t happen again.” But there’s something even more revealing within the interview. The Left pretends to pity the plight of the people we used to call “vagrants” but are now required to call “homeless.” Their numbers keep growing – despite the fact that we keep throwing money at them and giving them free housing, free meals and other free stuff.
Let’s stop right there. That last sentence, expressed as I just expressed it, is easily recognized as a “Fox Butterfield.” He was a New York Times columnist who expressed puzzlement at the “paradox” that more criminals were being sentenced to prison even though crime was down.

Two news items from last week point to where US immigration enforcement is headed: 1) the number of foreign-born people in the country fell by 1.5 million in the first six months of 2025, and 2) ICE is on track to deport just 400,000 illegal immigrants for the whole year.
The obvious conclusion: A lot more illegal migrants are self-deporting than being expelled — which is surely how most Americans want things to proceed, and a lot more practical than any kind of mass round-ups.
The Trump administration is increasing deportations:

Good for Mayor Eric Adams for suing the Campaign Finance Board over its outrageous, undemocratic bid to rig the mayoral race against him.
Even if he doesn’t receive timely justice, he’s at least helping expose a system that needs drastic reform or even complete elimination.
Hizzoner wants the board to fork over $5 million in matching funds he argues it has unfairly denied him. The board’s “conduct is unconstitutional and the height of arbitrary and capricious governmental action,” Adams’ filing states. “The agency must be held to account for its pernicious conduct.”

This week the FBI conducted a seven- or eight-hour raid on former National Security Advisor John Bolton’s home and his office. (Unlike raids such as those the Biden administration conducted against Trump, his employees, advisors, and associates, no press was alerted and engaged, so reports are from bystanders who videotaped it on their cell phones.) Is the raid on John Bolton’s home retribution? Revival of a dormant case against him for mishandling national security? Something more sinister?

A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from cutting off federal funding to dozens of "sanctuary" cities and counties — covering several of the largest cities in the U.S. The judge had previously ruled in April that it was unconstitutional for President Trump to freeze funding for local governments that limit their cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement — commonly known as sanctuary cities. That ruling applied to more than a dozen cities and counties that had sued the Trump
