His career is toast. A DC man who hurled a Subway sandwich at a federal agent on the streets of the capital earlier this week has been identified as a now-former Justice Department trial attorney. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that Sean Charles Dunn, 37, who is facing a felony assault charge for the sandwich strike, has been fired from his DOJ role. “If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you,” Bondi declared. “I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony.”

Comments:

Ordinarily, a sandwich thrower wouldn't be worthy of more ink, but this this guy is a DOJ attorney.

How bad does Trump Derangement Syndrome get? This guy’s a lawyer. Now he’s fired from DOJ, and will likely soon have his law license suspended or revoked, and also will possibly be convicted of a felony. These people talk about “our democracy” but when things don’t go their way, do they try to use democracy to get what they want? No. They have temper tantrums. They are adult aged children.

The moron is not an attorney. The article states: "Dunn appeared to have been similar to a paralegal — assisting attorneys in handling a 'large volume of cases, including the litigation of those matters,' according to the DOJ’s job listing for the position. He does not appear to be an attorney as his name isn’t listed on the DC bar’s website." He does, however, appear to be a DEI hire.

President Donald Trump has delegated federal agents to assist in fighting crime in D.C. as part of his move to help clean up the city. They've been involved, showing themselves around D.C., and that's good policing — to discourage bad actors. However, there was one man who was apparently upset with their presence in the city. The man allegedly hurled a footlong sandwich into the chest of the CBP agent, then found out that was unwise, as he turned and fled, but then was immediately chased down by the agents.

Word salads - they're not just the appetizer or palate cleanser anymore. They're what Democrats have for dinner. It's not a new phenomenon in American politics, and members of both parties have certainly been caught speaking words and phrases in search of a coherent thought. Joe Biden used to uncork speeches that were heavily seasoned with cul-de-sac sentences and ideas, and that was even before cognitive decline sidelined his run for reelection in 2024. But by the bitter end, when he had to step aside for Kamala Harris to pick up the mantle, it was just embarrassing and sad.
