Cracker Barrel has found itself in hot water as the cherished food chain flaunts its new look - and loyal customers bemoan the lack of classic rustic charm. Locations of the Southern-themed restaurant and gift shop have been ditching their nostalgic and eclectic interiors for more modern decor since last year. A video shared by Cracker Barrel last August captioned 'New look, same Cracker Barrel!! We can't wait for you to visit' shows a Mount Juliet, Tennessee location - one of the first to undergo drastic renovations. 'We might have refreshed some things and updated a little bit, but don't worry, we're still Cracker Barrel!'

NEW YORK — Affordability was at the center of Zohran Mamdani’s winning primary campaign for New York City mayor. President Donald Trump has become the focus of his general election bid. The Democratic nominee launched a five-borough tour “against Trump” on Monday to amplify how he believes the president will harm New York City — and why Mamdani thinks he should be elected to lead the vanguard. He’s also tying opponents Andrew Cuomo, Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa closely to Trump, adopting a classic Democratic general election playbook by casting two fellow Democrats and the GOP nominee as the president’s

A career intelligence officer who worked for ADemocrats on the House Intelligence Committee for more than a decade repeatedly warned the FBI beginning in 2017 that then-Rep. Adam Schiff had approved leaking classified information to smear then-President Donald Trump over the now-debunked Russiagate scandal, according to bombshell FBI memos that Director Kash Patel has turned over to Congress. The FBI 302 interview reports obtained by Just the News state the intelligence staffer — a Democrat by party affiliation who described himself as a friend to both Schiff, now a California senator, and former Republican House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes — considered the classified leaking to be "unethical," "illegal," and “treasonous,”

"Nice city you have here — it would be a shame if something were to happen to it."
Something bad is about to happen to New York City.
Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. The greatest city in the world deserves something better than a commie-racist/nepo-red-diaper-baby like Zohran Mamdani as its mayor.
But recent news has me convinced that the commie-racist/nepo-red-diaper-baby will be the city's next mayor.
President Donald Trump called Mamdani a "communist lunatic" back in June, and he isn't wrong. Every time some old social media post of the Democrat mayoral nominee resurfaces, he's boasting that "the end goal is seizing the means of production," complaining that capitalism is theft,

A pair of Texas friends died less than three months apart after ingesting pills laced with a dangerous new synthetic opioid, and now their mothers are begging US officials to sound the alarm on the little-known drug that’s up to 43 times more lethal than fentanyl.
The young men both died this year after swallowing different pills secretly tainted with the deadly, often Narcan-resistant opioids known as nitazenes, which have begun seeping into the US at an alarming rate.
Lucci Reyes-McCallister, 22, died January 26 near Houston, Texas, after taking a pill labeled as Xanax that was actually laced with N-pyrrolidino protonitazene, an emerging form of nitazene.

Los Angeles is being urged to abandon plans to host the 2028 Olympics lest the Democrat-run city give President Donald Trump something to “bolster his noxious legacy.”
Los Angeles Times columnist Gustavo Arellano whined about Trump’s policies, his accomplishments in office, and his agenda in a new column as plans take shape for the 2028 Summer Olympics to be held in the California city.
“It’s a shame that LA Times ‘columnists’ are so filled with Trump Derangement Syndrome that they would turn away such a unifying event as the Olympics, which are expected to generate $18 billion in economic activity,”

Former President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, has filed for divorce from her plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Howard Krein, after more than 13 years of marriage, court records show. The 44-year-old ex-first daughter filed the papers in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on Monday, The Post confirmed. Biden’s Instagram Story on the same day featured a photo of her walking through a park and flashing a thumbs-up, and was set to the song “Freedom” by Beyoncé, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, which first reported the divorce filings. She also posted a quote that read: “New life, new beginnings means

On today’s episode of ‘Dems Doing Performative Nonsense,’ we have leftists locking themselves up.
The protests against everything related to President Donald Trump continue with Democrats voluntarily placing themselves in a cage to prove some kind of point about the cruelty of Alligator Alcatraz.
Look: [Tweet]
The photo, posted by Ian Jaeger, shows mostly older, white people enclosed in a small pen with a sign reading “Camp Cruelty: A US Immigration Detention Facility.” Outside are several people apparently dressed as immigration enforcement agents. It comes across as some sort of political masochist fan-fiction.

The US military is preparing to activate hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, DC as a part of President Trump’s sweeping federal crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital, according to authorities.
Trump has yet to make a final decision about the activation of federal troops, but the National Guard is currently readying to deploy them, two US officials with knowledge of the operation confirmed to Reuters.
The preparation comes as 120 FBI agents from across the country have already begun patrolling DC streets overnight and backing up area cops at carjacking hot spots, despite many lacking local patrol work training, The Washington Post reported.

After the film “Oppenheimer” released in July 2023, the national conversation returned to whether or not the development of the atomic bomb was prudent, and, furthermore, if dropping the nuclear weapon twice on Japan was necessary. These are not new conversations. The questions posed now were posed by prior generations dating back to 1945.
Some of these arguments will, perhaps, remain perpetually and be discussed for decades without any consensus, but some of these arguments have been fully debunked. Barrett Tillman, World War II scholar and the author of dozens of military works, including “When the Shooting Stopped: August 1945,” discusses a number of these issues on a The Sons

A New York judge on Monday rejected a request by the federal government to unseal grand jury records in the federal case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell after the Trump administration signed off on her prison transfer.
"The court's review confirmed that unsealing the grand jury materials would not reveal new information of any consequence," U.S. Judge Paul Engelmayer of New York's Southern District wrote in his 31-page ruling denying a request by the U.S. Department of Justice to unseal the grand jury material.

Leftist protesters formed a “human chain” to lament deported illegal aliens and social media can’t stop talking about it.
Not because the 8-mile chain, which took place in Columbus, Ohio, was an effective message that changed the hearts and minds of pro-immigration law enforcement proponents, but because the people who made up the protest all had a lot in common.
Watch: [Tweet, video]
For a party that complains about how old and white Republicans are, this protest looked an awful lot like a retirement home ad.
Local newspaper The Ohio Dispatch reported that “thousands” attended the “Hands Along High Street” protest to stand against President Donald Trump’s administration and its policies.
Comments:
Great news, but we can't erase the failure until every last illegal is gone.
