Sometimes you can’t help but wonder: how do the progressive scolds who constantly shame everyone else for routine actions ever get out of bed in the morning with the burdens they carry? They worry they’re using too much water to brush their teeth, they can’t take a vacation because the emissions from the car or plane will cause the demise of us all, and the CO2 they emit with each breath spells disaster. They constantly fret over the consumption of meat, the use of everyday household appliances that make our lives better, and any other progress that has brought our civilization into the 21st Century.

They don't even understand their own pet theory. The idea of human caused global warming is that use of fossil fuels is increasing the net carbon in the cycle, because carbon that was trapped far below the earth's surface is being released when oil or coal is burned. Animals and plants, which are all carbon-based life forms, do not cause a net increase in atmospheric carbon since they are already part of the existing carbon cycle. The methane produced by a cow comes from it digesting plant matter. Those same chemical processes would have occurred whether the plants were digested or rotted in the round after the plants died. It is not a net increase in carbon. This whole problem that leftists claim to have with meat and cattle is a concocted issue. What the really want is power and control. ''Climate Change'' is just their latest excuse for putting them in charge.

The eternal relationship between fear and money. Without it, governments could not exist. When they run out of real bogeymen, they must create new ones. That and the fact that useless scientists and the "schools" that train them need an income.

This is the same retardation that got us in panics over acid rain, global warming, global cooling, 2nd and 3rd hand smoke, cow farts, covid, leaving the toilet seat up and blowing mower grass into the road. There is no shortage of citizens anxious to be in a panic and to commit your money and freedom to the furtherance of that panic. Best bet is to ignore it all.

I grew up in the Great Plains (Kansas). We mostly raised beef cattle as grass was about the only thing that grows on that thin soil. It was a constant battle to keep scrub trees from growing and sucking nutrients from the soil. Also, the paragons of environment, the Indians, burnt the prairie every year to kill the scrub brush and encourage better grass for their ponies.

No pets are not causing any affect on global climate. And CO2 is a beneficial trace gas which can safely be at 10 times current levels. The only side effect is lush growth of green plants, and likely loss of desert areas. in some places. How is this 'predicted'? By looking backwards and seeing what happened when CO2 was 4,000 ppm millions of years ago. PROOF that it is not harmful.

Funny how they never mention airplane emissions as a problem, their own favored means of gallivanting. Even measured in dog pharts, a single private streamliner ride emits far more than our hounds ever could. And why only domestic animals, like cows and now dogs? Ever see the vast herds of wildebeest, bison, or caribou? How much gas does an elephant produce?

His career is toast. A DC man who hurled a Subway sandwich at a federal agent on the streets of the capital earlier this week has been identified as a now-former Justice Department trial attorney. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that Sean Charles Dunn, 37, who is facing a felony assault charge for the sandwich strike, has been fired from his DOJ role. “If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you,” Bondi declared. “I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. President Donald Trump has delegated federal agents to assist in fighting crime in D.C. as part of his move to help clean up the city. They've been involved, showing themselves around D.C., and that's good policing — to discourage bad actors. However, there was one man who was apparently upset with their presence in the city. The man allegedly hurled a footlong sandwich into the chest of the CBP agent, then found out that was unwise, as he turned and fled, but then was immediately chased down by the agents.

Trump’s announcement on Monday during a press briefing comes after a series of high-profile attacks in the city this year. The Metropolitan Police Department told the Daily Caller News Foundation that officers responded around 7:01 p.m. to the 1200 block of 12th Street NW, where they found an unconscious adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. After lifesaving efforts by D.C. Fire and EMS, the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Word salads - they're not just the appetizer or palate cleanser anymore. They're what Democrats have for dinner. It's not a new phenomenon in American politics, and members of both parties have certainly been caught speaking words and phrases in search of a coherent thought. Joe Biden used to uncork speeches that were heavily seasoned with cul-de-sac sentences and ideas, and that was even before cognitive decline sidelined his run for reelection in 2024. But by the bitter end, when he had to step aside for Kamala Harris to pick up the mantle, it was just embarrassing and sad.

By all accounts, even those of liberal media outlets, the Democratic National Committee is broke. Under the leadership of chairman Ken Martin, the DNC is facing a full-blown financial crisis. But how did it come to this? Well, donor flight is one part of the answer. Since President Trump and J.D. But the bigger story, and one the mainstream press won't touch, is that a critical pipeline of cash has been shut off: the massive taxpayer-funded slush fund known as USAID.
